Still playing Front Mission 5, although my progress is slowing. My play time isn't decreasing, but it's getting to that point in the game where missions take an hour or more to complete. There's a big difficulty spike too, with enemy units outnumbering me almost five to one. But if there is one thing this series has taught me, it's that SRPGs are won with adaptability and patience. I have to outmanuever my enemy.
What are you Playing?

CoD:MW3 is free to play on Steam this weekend so I figure I'll see how hilariously bad it is firsthand. Oh hey, there Smudge.
-
Currently re-re-re-re-re-re-replaying Fire Emblem 7. Replaying Golden Sun for maybe the 4th time. And also playing a flash game called Mardek. I have been taking a break, lately, from No More Heroes, Monster Hunter Tri, Persona 3, Persona 4, and Rune Factory Frontier. I haven't had as much time for video games lately.

Found a pre-owned copy of Elite Beat Agents for £2.
best £2 I spent ever. Although I got no rhythm. Can't beat the Aliens XD But yeah it's pretty awesome. Makes me wanna track down the others too.
-
I started a new file of Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne. And I damn well intend to finish it this time.
-
Just beat Resident Evil 5 and its extra DLC episodes. It was OK but nothing like the usual RE.
I guess I start GTA IV again, need to finish it. Oh and MW2. -
I just beat a boss in Tales of the Abyss (the Behemoth) that the game told me not to. I'd thought I'd get lots of experience and money, or a rare item for going so….nope. I've been trolled.
-
you have to leave the area and come back later to kill him for the exp and item
lol
tales of the dicktrain

Civilization 5. Getting back into it before they release the expansion.
-
The opening level of Cry of Fear is fucking scary. And the zombies scare me too  . Good game though.

Just beat Bubsy 3 D.

@No:
Just beat Bubsy 3 D.

Got Professor Layton and the Curious Village in the mail today. Pretty good so far.

@Schwerer:
Am I imagining things or is that supposed to be a thorn crown made of fire ?

Actually it's just regular flames, but the way they edited it was weird.
That's Williams Street for ya.
-
It's a campfire, actually. For years it was the only fire graphic they used in Aqua Teen Hunger Force. They called it "the Space Ghost campfire" since it was originally from an outdoor scene.
-
Plugging through GTA IV. I have 42 hours logged on it, and that's not counting my play time when I had it for the 360 and PS3, and I just finished the mission where you, Packie, and his friends get a bag full of money from a building at the docks.
-
Rhythm Heaven Fever. Just plowed through the first 6 remixes. I think I'll take a break.

"Speak softly and carry a big stick; you will go far." -Theodore Roosevelt.
In Civ 5, I got jumped by the Persians, Ottomans, and Iroqouis at the same damn time. It was a massacre because I didn't have enough military units. And they refused to negotiate peace with me too. In short, speaking softly doesn't work without a big stick to back it up.
-
I am physically shaking after playing the Amnesia Justine DLC. I only got to the third level on it…

My copy of Metal Gear Solid 3D came in the mail today, so that's what I've been playing. The game looks gorgeous and out of the six 3DS games that I now own, it's the only one that I might consider playing with the 3D consistently on, for it's actually implemented well instead of merely slapped on. The game's very well put together, but it's taking some time for me to adjust to this style of gameplay.
My only complaints so far are that the process for equiping weapons and items is needlessly clunky, and while aiming with the face buttons is manageable when dealing with the mooks, I can forsee it making boss battles a real pain in the ass.

Im still torn about it. Is it worth getting or? I was all set to get it and then they released the HD set with 2, 3 and the PSP one and I kinda thought it was pointless paying the same price for just the one.
-
If you have the means to play the HD collection, I'd honestly recommend going for that. It's not that MGS3D is bad by any means, the HD collection just has more bang for its buck.

Checking out Dungeons of Dredmor DLC and playing some Rune Factory 3.

Still in Civ 5, and I've learned another lesson. It's never good when you and another civ get stuck on the same island in a archipelago map type. I'm better with less cities though, so I didn't have a problem with it and I was doing just fine, but then George Washington decided he didn't want to be island-mates with me anymore. I held my own valiantly, but being militaristic has never been part of my play style, so he outnumbered me, and he was able to besiege my cities and wait out his victory.
I should have just eradicated him in the Ancient Era when we only had a single city. But nooooooo, I have to be the nice guy.:getlost:
Not to mention I was Gandhi. But I tell you this, there will be vengeance, and next time it won't be pretty. -
Kingdoms of Amalur.
I love this game…

That sounds good, since I bought it today.
However, I'm currently playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution, going to finish that one up first. It's pretty good, but I never played the original, so I can't reallly compare them.

If you like these kinds of games and the genre overall, you're definitely going to enjoy it.

I'm playing Sands of Destruction for the DS. It's a pretty challenging rpg

I just beat The End in Metal Gear Solid 3D, and what a duel it was. First I got the moss camo by sticking him up, and then I eventually whittled his stamina down to a sliver, but by then I had run out of tranq rounds and then he regenerated 50% of his stamina back. Annoyed, I decided to go for the lethal kill but then remembered that there was a storage shed with respawning ammo. Restocked I went back to work tracking the old fart down, and I'm especially proud of my final shot. I noticed the light glinting off of his scope off in the distance and basically sniped him with my pistol.
Very satisfying finish. All of the bosses in this game so far have been great.
-
You can shoot him when you first see him in the wheelchair. I learned that just recently.

Also, if you save during the battle, and then don't play the game for a week (or set the system clock ahead a week), he will have died of old age.
-
I was aware of letting him die from old age, but not sniping him in his wheelchair. But that would've taken all the fun out of the battle.
It's really fun going through this game and seeing all the easter eggs and little details that were put in. One of my favorites was watching all the fish swimming in the underground lake go belly-up after The Pain chucked a grenade into it. And I can't forget giving The Fear food poisoning!
-
As fun as the bosses in MGS3 was, I still have to sayI preferred the ones in MGS2. Nothing beats Fatman in my book.
Granted, The End probably is one of the best bosses ever.
-
Finally able to play Earthbound for the first time. Let's see if it lives up to all the praise it gets.

"War. War never changes." -Ron Perlman
I have started my DLC playthrough of Fallout: New Vegas. The last time I played was a year and a half ago, so this will be a fresh start and my first time with any of the DLC. I'll also be going for a different ending this time.
-
Picked up my third and final game of February, Shin Megami Tensei Devil Survivor 2. Of the three, it was the one that I was most looking forward to, as I thoroughly enjoyed the first game.
So far…it's pretty grueling, moreso than I remember the first game being. The skill pool is pretty poor at this point, and there are enemy healers absolutely everywhere. But I only just finished the second day, so I'm still pretty early in, and just like the previous game, I expect it to start picking up by the third day.
I do wonder if any of the game's designers felt awkward after the Sendai Earthquake, though (the premise involves many of Japan's cities being devestated by massive natural disasters, demons, and Evangelion-like aliens).

I started playing the original Max Payne because this upcoming one looks like it's going to be really cool. I really like the game so far though sometimes it's pretty hard. It also looks really good for whenever it came out. I don't know who decided to put that stupid grin on Max's face though .
I also signed up for an alpha key for Heroes and Generals because it looks amazing, but I haven't gotten it yet. Hopefully I'll get one soon.
-
I always mix up MAX PAYNE with DUKE NUKEM because both are really stupid names.
-
bits of Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition (2012)
Gonna pick up Street Fighter x Tekken tomorrow to grind away the weekend for some local tournaments. :D
-
@Schwerer:

Max Payne is a completely normal name… I know that it sounds kind of cheesy if you think of it as max pain but it's a normal name.
-
So it's only stupid if you think of it in the manner the developers intended you to. Got it.
-
I'm saying that the difference is, Max Payne is a perfectly normal name, though it does have a small pun in it. Duke Nukem is not a name that someone could have.

I have no clue why they decided to give Max that stupid grin. I laughed at it the first time I started the game.
-
The Curse of Monkey Island. I played the first two games earlier this week. :3

MariO it's a mash up between the original Super Mario Bros. and Portal check it out it's awesome

Playing though a lot of portable games.
Ys seven, Valkyurie cronicles 2, ninja gaiden sigma plus, and Uncharted Golden Aybess.

I collected 4 of the 5 Masyaf keys in AssRev. I really like Altaïr's story, probably better than the main story of the game so far.
