I forgot to remind people of this but these awards are about 2016; threads that have had the bulk of their activity during that period are eligible, things that mostly occurred outside of that timeframe are not.
So, while the reasoning behind the nominations are certainly valid, The Racism Thread and AP Gaming Steams~! do not qualify. Sorry about that and feel free to please pick something else.
Also, gonna need something more specific than One Piece is a three part story since that doesn't show up in a search.
I kinda want to contest that.
The "talk about x and be f*cking nice about it" series of threads is a strictly 2016 circumstance, and the race one stands out as the main one to fail. The only reason that one isn't marked as having been started this year is because it was clipped onto a pre-existing race thread.
Nevertheless, 10 solid pages of stupidity took place that were strictly 2016. If we want to nominate the Religion and LGBT (and be f*cking nice about it) as best threads but we can't nom this one for worst then it seems like cherry picking.

The relevant segment wasn't started as a standalone thread though but was split when it derailed the Random News Article Thread and, considering the people involved as well as the subject, was really just carried over from the Indecision Thread to begin with. The other threads were started as a result of the renaming following the thread split but contained entirely new material.

Is it possible to nominate this as the shortlived FT and Bleach Thread? Even though Fairy Tail got exorcised back to its own thread when the Bleach Ending was announced.

But that meme, as gorgeous as it is, never changes or has creative effort poured in. Your Kawaii Moria campaigns in contrast reek of that. So you AT LEAST deserve a nomination. The more memes, the merrier.

Hell, has there ever been a faster join date-senior promotion than yours? Since I started noticing since mid-2011, the only ones to do so within a year were Holy Hell, Nia (;;), power trio of Print Error (;__;)/Purple Hermit/Robzilla and none of them have made as sudden an impact as you (of course I wasn't really paying attention in 2013 >>)

Well, Sandman said that I was the quickest member to become a senior member since they joined. So I guess that counts for being notable lol. But thank you for the praise. I'm surprised that it took me such a while to build up the confidence to join after lurking for a couple years or so.
