Interesting chapter overall. After getting past the initial hype of the Kaido reveal, I feel there might be some subtle clues as to how the series is going to progress from here on out. Bad news for many of you, this chapter seems keen on showing that we won't be getting "breather" arcs anymore, and best we can hope is breather chapters, such as the Sabo chapter between this chapter and the world reaction chapter.
My first reasoning is with what we saw with Fujitora this chapter. He is indeed ready to capture Luffy and Law, that much was made certain. The gambling could partly be a quirk, but it was probably there to show his gratitude to Luffy, which allowed his plan to go off without much problem. That said, Fujitora will be going after him from this time forward, as he needs to be in good graces if he wishes to attend Reverie and finish what he started. I have some other theories and predictions about some of his actions going forward, but that's another topic. Main point here is that Luffy and Law will always have to have their guard up as an admiral is after them. Ultimately that will mean they will not have the luxury after this arc to just sit around and relax. Add in the fact that now Kaido and Big Mom are personally going against the crew, they have three big powers to avoid.
Then we have the reintroduction of Sanji's group after all this time. Instead of getting past Big Moms crew and meeting up with Laws crew, they got into a fight with part of Kaidos crew. Not only that, they are on a island with a crazy volcano or something, and there is a lot going on. They got out of the oven and into the frying pan with no time to rest. Having Ceasar already puts a target on their back for Big Mom, and now fighting directly with Kaidos crew is going to have them shift their focus to Sanji's crew. Add in the fact that the various crews occupy many of the islands, the crew is going to have a hard time going to an island where they won't have to be fighting resistance.
Lastly is the words Kaido spoke at the end. He talked about how he was going to have a war of the century (or whatever the actual translation is). Consider the fact that he's been able to survive the Marines and other Yonko many times, it's going to have to be something big if he hopes to go out in a blaze of glory bigger than White Beard. Having crashed into the KHA alliance base, it shows that the idea of each crew going after individual Yonko is out the window. If things go the way I think it's being set up, the New World is going to become even more turbulent than before, as soon all the Yonko crews will be clashing at each other, with the Marines using that opportunity to make a huge dent, which then the Revolutionaries will spring into action. If all powers are going to go into a constant war, there is no possible way for any type of breather arc.
Personally, I think it would be cool for the already crazy sea of the New World to get even crazier because of all this stuff. The fact that Kaido was revealed already feels like Oda is showing that the New World is truly starting, and things are going to be crazier. Perhaps I'm looking too much into this stuff, but I feel this chapter is telling us what to expect from now on. It seems to make sense that the only kind of war to surpass White Beard and possibly guarantee a noble death would be to challenge the whole world at one time. Time will tell.
