Dat "Red Hawk" color page is just magnificent.

Thanks Redon and Cro:happy:

Thanks so much to the uploaders here. The volume once again looks fantastic. I always love the way the colour team uses warm tones - pages with fire in particular always seem to come out looking so nice.

Hey, I've been away for a while and came back to a full inbox regarding the OPDC torrent I was working on so I thought I'd clear it all up here instead.
The reason there still isn't one is because I was messaged by one of the people who worked on it saying they didn't want their name attached to the project anymore and to not upload it unless their name was removed.
Said pages were scattered throughout the 700+ folders and sub folders and I did not have the time or patience to go through/find and remove them all.
I had already spent 3+ weeks transferring everything from an external HD, re-organizing and trying to removing the sub folders..
With such a junky laptop and internet connection once I got the message I kind of just gave up.There was probably another option and I apologize for not looking into that more at the time.
I told the person who messaged me to make a post in this thread to let everyone know what was going on and why it wouldn't be up anytime in the near future, but having gone through the pages since my last post.. it seems they didn't bother.
Sorry again.
Hopefully they change their mind sometime.
Or at the very least someone else has it all and is willing to restart it. -

Thanks 4 the explanation.
Hope you can solve your problems soon, a DCE (Digital Colored Edition) torrent would be great. Torrent for the RAWs was recently lost aswell.BTW, Galaxy, any news about the translation of the last 3 volumes?
Thank you :) -

Thank you :)No problem.
I was informed that the DCC volumes are all up on Manga Traders. From what I can see they actually date back to before I was even thinking about making a torrent, and most likely have all credit pages. I believe they're all .zip files that can be downloaded a volume at a time. You may or may not need to sign up, I can't remember.

Mmmokay so something I've noticed about the colour comics. The first 68 volumes, at release, did't have anything in them except the front cover and the actual comics pages. No inner title page, no recap spread, no table of contents, no SBS, nor any of the other of the little panels or bits of art that usually sit opposite the first pages of chapters. Generally, they're replaced with blank pages with a Jump logo in the bottom corner. These pages:
!
That was fine, the price you pay for colour. But then volumes 69 and 70 came with the SBS (and nothing else) and volumes 71 through 76 came out with everything. Front and end pages, SBS and other things, even the sepia version of the cover from under the dust jacket of the physical version, and the spine. And since then, I've looked at the previews for some of the older volumes on amazon.jp and booklive.jp, and found they all have the inner title page, recap spread and table of contents in them. It seems they've been updated so they all have the same content as the black and white and physical versions.
This observation leads to a question: Is there any way the updated pages from the older volumes to find their way onto the internet? I'm not looking for full download links for the updated volumes, just the content that gets them up to speed with the black and white/physical volumes. All the stuff we enthusiastically post to the volume discussion threads when it first appears anyway. If anyone has them purchased and has found their online version is updated, I, and I'm sure many others, would really appreciate it.
-
+1 to last post.
Naruto has all 72 volumes that way, it would be nice to have One Piece aswell.
I think Bleach DCR has only 53 volumes available from the 65 already released in color.I'm also looking for Rurouni Kenshin and Death Note DCRs with no luck.

The preview pages for volume 77, featuring all of chapter 764. Hopefully the full volume will be available soon.
!
-
It is already available.
-
But where? For all the last ones we got links here fairly promptly.
-
Oh , you mean free. Sorry i was talking about a link to buy it.
-
Yeeah the previews don't go up til that's available anyway, so that's how I have the pages I posted. Frankly, I've considered buying them myself. It would solve the problem of the incomplete early versions I mentioned above, but I also want an offline archive of my own. I haven't been able to figure out the exact mechanics of ripping the files from the source for that yet though. I used screenshots for those pages I posted. The resolution of each spread like that is 1330x1049, slightly smaller than the 1520x1200 we usually get from proper digital rips. It's also veeery slow, which is fine for a 14 spread preview, but would shit me if I tried to do a whole book.
So yeah, waiting on a download link for now. -
this colored chapters looks awsome. wish i could buy them here.

I know it's not all that expensive, so I'll be giving the matter some thought closer to payday, especially if it still hasn't been ripped then, but it's a little hard to justify when I already have both the English and japanese versions of the book physically. I've got a few big expenses looming, so I'm trying to limit what I'm spending.
Where did you buy from? I've heard some sites, like booklive, tend to not play nice with foreign credit cards.

Huh. I think it was the original version of this thread I read about problems with non-Japanese cards, but that was actually a decent while ago now. They may have updated, or I might be remembering wrong.
If a guy was interested in starting a digital set, how would you say booklive is as a site to buy from? Compared to other options like amazon or ebookjapan?

What do you mean?

What do you mean?
Like is the site easy to navigate with limited Japanese, online reader and library functions streamlined, so on and so forth. Do you think it's the best option for digital manga, basically?

I do not speak japanese at all but it was pretty easy for me to navigate on it because is structure is the same as Amazon for example.
I personally do not think that is the best option because the site can be slow sometimes and if you want to look at a specific page you have to browse to all of them before which i find really annoying.Tbh i buy them to support the release but i really prefer to read them on my computer.

Can I request the chapter cover of 381*? I´m making imgur albums with the cover stories for my sister (and any other anime only follower who might be interested) because I don´t want her to miss these events
*I´m getting the covers from the chapters at kissmanga, but that chapter is missing the cover.

Someone on Reddit made the albums already, if you're interested: https://www.reddit.com/r/OnePiece/comments/1sqel1/one_piece_cover_stories_compilation/
Otherwise, here's the cover you need:

Thanks for the link, too, but those won´t do because they aren´t colored, and also I cropped the chapter titles to make the pictures shorter)

Volume 71 and Volume 72 were released by Powermanga. It is not officially licensed.
Everything before Volume 71 was done by a variety of people.

Have volumes 73 and onward been translated?

Nope, pal. Let's hope Powermanga or anyone else pick it up.

Yesssss. God I wish the scheduling was more consistent for these, but it's great to have another one coming.
And I guess while I'm posting here, I should note: I started buying the digital volumes myself, but found that even though the color versions now have the title pages, recaps, table of contents and the endpages with the sepia cover, Oda's comment and the spine image, but they actually still don't have the SBS or Usopp gallery pages. And, in fact, the early digital black and white volumes don't have those either. For some reason. When I got to volume 4, I think it was, in colour and there was no SBS, I decided, out of curiosity to get the black and white version of the same volume and it wasn't there either. I've got up to volume 12 in colour now, with no SBS, and I don't see much reason to think the black and white volumes would be different.
Obviously they both start having these things at some point. Colour volumes from 69 onwards should have all pages now that the front and endpages have been added, and we've had rips of the black and white digital volumes for 76, 79 and everything from 81 to present that have had complete pagecounts. I don't have the money to buy enough volumes to find out exactly when it changed though.
I know that Japan hasn't quite fully embraced digital sales yet, but it's so goddamn weird to me that the digital volumes would be straight up missing pages in this way.
