@Gore:
Well Dofla is the type of person that says;
"the past is the past, cant do anything about it, so dont worry about it".
Hes got 99 problems but that Df aint one.
Me and him have the same thought process. More people should think lke this tbh
Yeah, but look at it this way: You have your Logia fruit, and you have a lot of your artificial Zoans.
Characterise one of the latters to look like a former. Give former to one of your guys that doesn't have a fruit.
If Diamante wins the tournament (Which was the plan, one assumes), you get the fruit be default anyway, so nobody will ever know it was an exchange.
If Diamante doesn't win, you don't have one of your enemies with powerful and destructive Logia fruit.
@Gore:
No offence taken.
I just have non mainstream and non cliche story line hopes.
I like being outside the box. Its really been worth it.
Man, I remember the times when I was like that. When I thought Burgess and Fujitora would have big roles in Dressrosa, and actually influence the plot in meaningful way…
Ah, good times.
Unfortunately, for now it seems to be exactly that: Cliche and mainstream that's been done. My hope right now is that Oda is setting us up for a subversion, instead of playing it so straight that it hurts.

@Ripcat:
I'd like for Doffy to kill someone important off at this point of the arc. Get Luffy angry and see some new techniques even if it requires heavy effort from Law.
Man, you want character deaths? In One Piece? You need a special kind of person to pull that shit off. And Doffy ain't that person. He is too focused on gloating.

@King:
His crew doesn't help. Trébol was actually ordered to bring Sugar to the palace, but he laughed it off. Diamante focused too much in taunting Rebecca instead of going after "Lucy". Jora fell for the oldest trick in the book. Gladius suspected Violet, but did nothing about it, and also fell for a ridiculous disguise. Doula having Violet as a key part of his plan was also not the smartest decision, even though her powers are sweet.
It was a "collective" effort, really.
But I really don't see what use he could have for the Mera Mera.
Yeah and that's my problem with this arc.
Villains suck at their jobs too much.
That's why I want to mess up a status we are at a little bit. Because this… is in all honesty kinda boring and underwhelming.
