After some of the recent changes it seems that characters are being rescued from Impel Down faster than new characters being sent there. I'm not sure if that's a problem, but I thought I'd point your attention to it :)

Yes, I've noticed as well. The PVP rule change really stopped a lot of characters from ending up in Impel Down, but the chance of rolling Impel Down has stayed the same. It isn't REALLY a problem, but in the future if we think another "happenings" roll should be higher, I can decrease Impel Down.

Happenings Roll - 004 Recruit!

Story:

! Alligator sees an island in his path with a village he can dock near.
"There's no way I'm ever going to get very far with only myself and this ship" he thinks to himself as he approaches the tavern determined to find a crewmate.
As he is about to enter he hears yelling and quick footsteps.
Someone passes by followed by marines a few moments later.
Alligator misleads civilians to direct the marines in the wrong direction before following the man who originally passed him.
Not long after following the trail into an alley a knife whizzes past Alligator's head.
"Whose there?" Alligator bellowed.
"You with the Marines?" A voice replied.
"No, I'm a pirate, but it looks like I may not be the only one with some troubles with the authorities around here."
"I'm a thief, it's what my speed best suits me for, well at least I think so." the man replied, "Name's Ricco by the way, some folks call me "The Wind" heheh it's 'cuz I'm really fast."
"The Wind is a fitting nickname for someone who'll be sailing the seas with me" the Captain responded.
"What makes you think I'll come with you?" said Ricco.
"It's just a hunch, I'm Captain Alligator by the way."
"Where's your crew?" the young man asked.
"He's asking me stupid questions…now let's go back to the ship"
As Alligator began to walk away Ricco couldn't understand why but he did want to follow this man. After catching up to the captain, he packed his things and boarded the ship.
"Nobody wants a thief around town anyway, guess bein' a pirate won't be so bad." Ricco said as the ship floated out to sea.

Ugh, apparently I am just to tired today. Since Sir Alligator wisely passed and Pinelark pointed out, I'll be facing Huon.

Lynn looked at the man standing before her and smiled. "It's nice to be here. Enjoying the sights. Maybe we'll mop up a few pirates and revolutionaries too."

The man laughed. "Well, hopefully I'll be able to help with that. I've been assigned to your unit."

"Oh, excellent." Lynn replied, "What's your name?"

"Oh, how rude of me to not introduce myself. My name is Ernest Miller, I handle telecommunications."

Story:

! As Alligator and Ricco are sailing through the East Blue they notice a strange object floating towards their ship. Upon further inspection they realize it is a woman holding onto a piece of driftwood. The woman seemed to be unconscious so they pulled her aboard the ship. After resting fr sme time the womn wakes up and exits the cabin where she had been resting.
"Hello?" She cries out, no knowing where she is, "Is anybody here?"
She hears footsteps as Alligator and Ricco make their way down to the deck.
"We're right here and this is my ship. Alligator's the name and this here is Ricco, we're the Alligator Pirates."
She reaches to her sides only to find her pistols missing. Realizing she' trapped she asks "Well what do a sorry couple of pirates like you want with me?"
"Why were you floating out there?" Ricco asked.
"Well my last crew threw me overboard after I shot the first mate." she replied as a sick grin came to her face.
"Why would you do that?" Ricco yelled in terror.
"He told me I couldn't take him out in my wildest dreams, guess I proved him wrong."
The Captain smiled "You seem like a strong woman, and I'd bet you're pretty good wit these pistols." he said pulling the woman's guns from his jacket.
"Assuming you won't shoot the man who seems to be my first mate for the time being, I'd like you to join us." the Captain said as he tossed her pistols back.
"Well it seems you're in luck because I just lost the trust of my old crew, and in terms of not shooting you guys I'd only advise you not to make bets your not willing to lose. Name's Lillian, call me Lily."
