Every time I have seen Democracy in motion until now, it was just "Hey, let's log into the PC! No, rather not. Well, maybe we should! Eh, I don't think so. But…". :|

Look at all those trying down2a9 - the command to release as many mon as possible from the PC menu. That's pretty clear proof of intentional sabotage :(

Yeah it's some asshat named Destiny who I guess plays SC2 and is known for his trolling? They DDOS'd his site early this morning because of that sort of stupidity.

I think that last democracy mode proved that fear of Destiny is screwing over democracy more than Destiny actually is though. Unless he changed his MO from "release Bird Jesus" to "spam b and hinder the crap out of them".

It's definitely the lag and people finding it hard to figure out how far ahead the lag is for them. Spamming B was mainly so they don't keep pressing withdraw pokes I think.
Basically we always hit things one extra, and as a result we never hit the right menu.

Yeah, lag is the biggest hindrance to democracy, but the actual destructive actions (down2a9) got so few votes that it's obvious Destiny's not as big of a threat as people think (at least in democracy; anarchy gives him a chance if he can anticipate and coordinate w/ his goons I suppose).

That and considering this game was played for more hours in a week than anyone on the planet. He could be a good bandit for the Elite Four possibly… assuming he isn't PCed.
