Usopp is no a hand to hand combat, he doesn't need to be a monster but he has been shown to take a lot of damage, his snipping skills are top notch which they require physical strength to shoot those bullets in the first place, my point is Usopp is a powerhouse when it comes to Snipping, so he's no weak.

Now that I've read the chapter, I really want Burgess to be capable of creating that wave motion by himself, without the usage of his Dial-like armor. If not, he might seem like a pushover which would really suck.
Burgess will say he was only joking with his dial-like air attacks. He'll reveal his true strength next chapter by slapping the shit out of the other contestants with a fish.

None of those characters were boring at all.
If anything, Vivi showed more personality when she was a "Team Rocket member".
Robin as a villain was pretty damn intimidating. As a Straw Hat, she was mysterious, but also had her own quirks. Her past just added more depth to her character when it was revealed. She also has a world-changing goal.
Koala was a slave who couldn't stop smiling for fear of being killed. She's now a Revolutionary who's also fighting for a world-changing goal. She also knows a martial art that was believed to be exclusive to a particular race. And she had less screentime than Rebecca herself.
Personality wise? No she wasnt… she was insignificant and practically Fodder.... then whiskey peak happened and instead of being an on-off team rocket member she becae..... that woman who wouldnt shut the hell up... even luffy had to slap some sense into her. Koala had no personality because she hid it.... and regardless of how intimidating she was she was just that.... intimidating, she kept that one dimensional personality till luffy's first defeat against croc when she saved him from a sand pit and gave him to pell.
But whats the main difference between these guys? THEIR CHARACTER ARCS HAVE BEEN COMPLETE AND THEY HAVE BEEN FLESHED OUT Meanwhile Rebecca's full set of strengths, weaknesses, morality traits, and quirks, have yet to be revealed yet you are comparing characters who we know all about to a new one… need i tell you how much of a moot point it is to say that? no i bring up this argument because of what they WERE not what they are… Vivi? who gave a shit? Robin? ok villain, Koala? meh some creepy girl who always smiles. oh you know all about them now but what about then?

The entire situation is comical because he would have slayed them all had he not turned. He was have a nice little skirmish with the finalist of Group B, who would easily crush everyone in Group C. His normal form was already strong to take them out, but Oda decide his alter ego attack twice, which was enough to beat everyone but Rebecca then conveniently fall asleep. I still don't understand why he didn't wake up if he couldn't go back to his form, other the power of convenience.It is mainly this bit that I disagree with. Assuming you meant C and D rather than B and C, I would like to know on what you're basing your judgement of everyone in block D. Also, Cavendish's skirmish with Chinjao involved him failing to pierce Chinjao's head despite lack of visible CoA on Chinjao's part and then dodging a few punches. So far as I can tell, Chinjao wasn't even close to serious in that encounter, so comparing his strength displayed then to that displayed when he fought Luffy in block C without any degree of scepticism won't help determine what the outcome of block D might have been had Cavendish not fallen asleep.
We don't know how the Cavendish/Hakuba dynamic works yet. Your assumption that there's no reason for him to have fallen back asleep/not turned back into Cavendish is judging too quickly. Just because it hasn't been explained yet doesn't mean there won't be an explanation.

By you're definition of 'powerhouse' WE can also rule out Van Auger and Yasopp out of the powerhouse list because they're skilled in snipping and there's no such of thing as a sniper powerhouse, am I right? Shooting bullet the way Usopp do requires a great amount of strength, he may no lift a building or destroy a castles with his bare hands but he's no a weakling like you make out to be.

We already had Rebecca's flashback (revolves around the Toy Soldier). We already know her strength (fast dodging. CoO). No quirks shown so far.

Wrong. The reason she won was because of several set of circumstances that were specifically written to suit her only strength, the main one Cavendish's second form only having two attempts before falling asleep

This entire attack was avoidable by the only aspect of skill that she has, which is extremely convenient writing.
in the art of counter fighting there is more skill than just speed. you also have to be fairly strong (how else are you going to counter the opponents strength if you cant take that hit to return it?) you also have to be quick thinking….. that being said we do NOT know hos strong she is, only that Luffy is stronger (big whoop he one-shotted a fucking giant) and that she takes a more pacifist route. she doesnt want to hurt anybody she wants them out of the ring, so she excercises self defense ad only self defense.
As a guy who practices Kenpo (mixed with a few others like Krav Maga, Jeet kune do, and Mui Thai), and a bit of Judo.... thats like you calling it BS that a counter fighter like myself won a MMA tourney by.... counter fighting. by the events that played out she was doing fine.... the whole hakuba thing just sped things up.

what is your definition of skill? it cannot be "One's aptitude at a certain activity or trade due to a natural predisposition or due to intense training" because if it was you would probably notice that being trained that hard by the soldier for god knows how many years would be considered as such. shes been trained hard to be fast…. she also chooses not to waste energy on physical fighting for one reason or another. but when was this ever a bad thing? and even so, if she won the tournament because of her intense training paid off would it suddenly be wrong? I think instead of putting harsh judgment on things based just off how they appear as opposed to what may lie inside or with further context the world would be a better place for you.

But the first line heats up the confrontation more imo. Not too sure if i'm getting this right

Btw was it mentioned that Kings Punch and Sabo/Burgess clash has exact same black cracks effect? Seems like strong attacks with CoA will be shown in that way by Oda.

It depends. I passed out once and got waken up by my friend slapping my face.
coz u lost ur conscious temporarily and u gained it back while your friend is slapping u which helped not losing it again at once
but if u went in a coma u might not get ur conscious back for some time , which thankfully didn't happensleeping is just a state where u can relax ur system but ur conscious is still awake and can sense voices , touches etc .. and yeah i googled this of course :ninja:
in one piece world u can use CoO while sleeping while in a coma u can't , and same goes for the fruits
