….So how was this third/fourth week of Anime?
Summer 2013 Anime Extravaganza Bonanza

Gotta agree with Black Leg. While I adore the -monogatari franchise, it takes Araragi+one of the girls to make it really entertaining. Those girls work splendidly when coupled with the male lead but on their own it just doesn't click with me. Opinions of couse may differ on this but that's just how it is in my case.
Anyone else annoyed by Commie's overdoing it with the cat speech? If only a capable group had picked up this show…fml
Edit 2: out of last week's shows Railgun S took the cake. The Sisters arc was awesome in the main series but seeing it again in such detail is pure entertainment.
-
Wait, people are actually watching Monogatari S2 on a site other than Daisuki? Why? It's free (legal), good quality, and I'm pretty sure it's global.
Also, Kanbaru and Shinobu made last week's episode. I still miss Kanbaru with short hair, though…

No, Sorry, but I can't watch it in my country!

I think I'm finally set on my summer list.
Blood Lad - I like the MC and the bright colors
Brother's Conflict - If only for the OP/ED, I don't know why else I'm watching this otome stuff
Danganronpah - I kinda hate this but it's so entertaining
Dog & Scissors - I feel like I'm punishing myself when watching it though
Free! - My pictures folder is currently at 366 MB, total of 1,002 files so far.
Gatchaman Crowds - Most likely anime of the season
Gin no Sagi - This is the above's competition for anime of the season
Hakkenden - Will they just go full gay already
Kitakubu - This is boring, might drop after episode 3 if it doesn't entertain me
Majestic Prince - Yeah
Monogatari S2 - Well I will be watching this, I'm currently going through Nisemonogatari
Railgun S - Catching up on it
Rozen Maiden - Can never get enough desu
Senyuu 2 - There's no excuse to not watch this when episodes are like 5 minutes
Servant x Service - You'd think this would be boring but it's really enjoyable
SnK - I'm hoping they do female titan justice
Space Battleship Yamato 2199 - Anime of the Year, possibly decade
Watamote - It will be our fault she's not popular when her DVDs and Blu-rays don't sellAm I missing anything?
Also I'm wondering how I'm gonna go about watching all this stuff when I'm living in a dorm and have to use university internet. I don't like stream quality but I think I might have to suck it up.

My friend, I feel sorry for you if you think that Daisuki is anything even resembling good. You should watch a few UTW/rori releases to see what good fansubbing is.
-
I'm sticking with Blood Lad and when I have patience I'll watch more Danganronpa.
-
Am I missing anything?
Nice list but I'd also recommend trying Uchouten Kazoku, It's definitely my surprise of the season so far. Also Kiniro Mosaic if you like cute girls doing cute things (But this time with ENGRISH)
-
Here's my decided list:
One Piece: Duh.
Naruto Shippuden: Why am I still watching this after all the filler? Thank god Madara is here, but that means some other bullshit is coming soon. :ninja:
Hunter x Hunter 2011: Chimera Ant Arc FTMFW. Enough said.
Yu-Gi-Oh! ZeXal: This series has gotten way better than the first season. Not sure how many on here actually still follow the franchise though.
Card Fight!! Vanguard: I'm so behind and still catching up but this series is pretty nice even though it's another card game show.
Attack on Titan/Shingeki no Kyojin: Continued from last season and still as awesome as ever.
Blood Lad - I was hooked from episode one. It's pretty original for my tastes by combining cliches in a way I've never seen done before. I mean an otaku vampire and a joke demon world, at least for me, is something I've never seen in anime before.
Dangan ronpa - The first two minutes of this show had me blinking in confusion but after watching up to episode 3 I'm starting to understand the show's formula. It's weird as hell but I admit I'm really enjoying it. sure, most of the cast outside of one or two and the main character kind of suck but the plot is interesting and refreshing. I heard it's rushed from the actual game but I'm unbiased and enjoy it just fine so far.
Dog & Scissors - I want to hate this series so bad and I think it's terrible but I keep finding myself coming back after 3 episodes for reasons I don't even get myself. :ninja:Monogatari S2 - Nothing to say other than it was expected since I fell in love with Bakemonogatari and Nisemonogatari, so following Nekomonogatari and the rest of the story is an obvious and I'm enjoying every second.
Rozen Maiden - I saw this arc in the manga a long time ago and never thought it would get animated but I'm really glad. I'm not afraid to admit I really enjoy Rozen Maiden despite being a guy. There's something about it that's really appealing to my taste. I even rewatched the first two anime seasons. I also have the manga that I'm yet to read but seeing as how the original series differs from the manga a lot and the first episode of this new season only briefly recapped the original manga, I'll likely be reading them soon.
Servant x Service - I dropped after episode one. No offense to those who like it, but I just didn't like any of the characters much or the gags. Since I have a lot of shows this season I decided not to keep up with it. I did like the name joke but that was it.
Watamote - Brilliant and highly relatable to people like me with social issues. Well, I'm not THAT bad (LOL) but she's a hoot to watch.
Kami-sama no Inai Nichiyōbi/Sunday Without God - I wasn't sure at first but after episode 3 I'm hooked. Any show that can build up a character after only 3 episodes and kill him off the way they did deserves praise and so far the show isn't relying too much on loli fanservice besides one or two scenes and that is always a plus in my book.
Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya - Seems very different from the other Fate series I'm yet to watch in that it's a magical girl cardcaptor Sakura like show with collecting cards. Something about it is charming for some reason in that it seems to make fun of itself and the magical girl genre, so I'll be sticking with it.
Gen'ei o Kakeru Taiyō - A very dark magical girl series similar to Madoka that caught my interest. I'll be following it as well.
World God Only Knows Goddess Arc: Awesome as always. It's a shame that they had to skip so much from the manga, but it's still great to see this arc animated. It's probably my favorite arc in the manga so far and the anime is doing it justice so far even with the rushed pacing.
–------
As you can see my list is a bit longer than I try to keep it but there were too many appeaing titles for me this year. There were a few I decided to pass on that could have been good but I just don't have the time for anymore.
I keep hearing good things about Gatchaman Crowds though and I'm tempted to pick it up. It sort of has a Shaft feel to its animation from what I saw of it. What is it about?

My body is ready for week 4.
-
Monogatari Episode 4 was another goldmine of exposition, puns, plot and Araragi's Mom?! Koyomi has to show up by next episode!
-
….Thoughts anyone?
-
Only watching Gin no Saji regularly this season. I'm stressed out enough on RL so a fun slice-of-life always relaxs me.
Oh, and HxH on saturdays o/

Yeah, the mom showing up really caught me off guard. It makes sense, though, since she was mentioned in Bakemonogatari. I wonder where the father is, though.
-
Has anyone seen the Ao no Exorcist movie yet? Is it any good?
-
I love how similar Araragi's mum is to Senjougahra. I guess Araragi not only has a sister complex but also an Oedipus complex.
-
It's that favorite time of the week again!
-
Monogatari Episode 5: The Dynamic Entry of Koyomi.
Me:
Enough said.

So…Thoughts on last week?
