This show is absolutely fantastic, can tell it's gonna be a great hit!
If I recall correctly, the plan here is to have three seasons that cover the entire summer one month at a time.
If it can maintain the level that it has set early on, this will be a great show as the first three episodes are just hilarious.
YES! I was waiting for someone to make a thread about this since I don't have thread-making privileges yet. I'm enjoying this show a lot already, and they've got such a talented crew backing this thing. I'm super excited for more.

I'm just still shocked it's on Disney, as it seems more like something that should air in CN's block of weirdness.
I really, really hope the quality stays consistent.
I haven't watch it yet, but I like the art design. Though it reminds me a lot of Regular Show, I think I like this show's style more.

I've watched through the first four episodes and I'm really digging this. It's really well-written and directed. The show makes me laugh quite a bit and does well in setting up its main plot in the background of all of its bizarre happenings. I haven't payed too much attention to all of the codes and mystery strewn about (I don't have the attention for it), but seeing the pieces collected shows me the care the writers put into it. I think my favorite bits, though, are the art and animation. The small things really punctuate the show in a fun and sincere way, from Mabel's misaligned stare to the twins poking and prodding at each other to that crazy old hillbilly's flailing around. That's the kind of stuff that stands out to me the most when I think back to it.
Bottom line is this show is great. To all fools who say otherwise:

This show is wonderful. I love it. I've found a new cartoon to tide me over till MLP coems back. Anyone notice that Wax Sherlock Holmes was played by John Oliver? I sure got a tickle out of that.
Just saw the Li'l Gideon episode. From that episode alone I'd say it's a pretty solid show. It's got some really good writing, story, character, and humor-wise, and I like that appears that it's going to have a continuing larger story. But it hasn't quite wowed me like Phineas and Ferb or MLP has, but I'll give it a few more episodes (of course, it took a few episodes for MLP to grow on me).
Gotta say though, Gideon's romance with Mabel creeped me out at first because I didn't get that he was a kid. I thought he was just a short adult.
I thought Gideon was a lot older, too. Reminded me of that Conroy Bumpus fella from Sam & Max Hit the Road:

I'm really loving this show. Hirsch was right when he said it's influences were The X-Files, Twin Peaks and The Simpsons. I totally get all three.
Also, Schaal is a revelation as Mabel. The voice acting is great across the board, but she just knocks it out of the park. Hirsch himself is especially great as Stan and Soos.

I agree with Luffy#1 Fan, I loved the continuity. The first 3 episodes all felt pretty stand alone, so it was nice to get an episode that contributed to the overall story.
One last thing, hopefully Linda Cardellini's role as Wendy gets expanded, because she's had like 4 lines total, and that's a waste of a great actress.

she has a lot more lines in episode 5 (which showed up on "on demand" about an hour after episode 4 aired).
Alright, so I just watched the first four episodes. The first episode is really funny, and I'm actually bit shocked off some of the humor. Its got a huge array of humor aimed at multiple ages, and I got a real early Simpsons vibe from it. The writing on the first episode was just great. Episode 2 and 3 weren't as impressive, though I favor the Wax episode more even if its just cause of the Coolio joke. Something about the mechanical sea monster plot felt overdone and is just uninteresting, though the episode had a lot of heart.
Episode 4 was fantastic step in the right direction again. The twist at the end, fantastic. If episodes like this keep coming, I will keep watching.
I'm really not a fan of Kristen Schaal… outside of like Trixie from Toy Story 3. But, she's starting to grow on me. I like Dipper, but every-time he speaks, I keep question how old are this kids. But again, its growing on me.
But yea, I defiantly want to see where this goes.

I definitely think there's a lot more to tat than the simple three letter's back code.
I think everything legible is a code that needs to be cracked. And they're all going to be much more difficult than what they gave us.
The series creator, Alex Hirsch, seems to be in the same vein as Pen Ward (Adventure Time) and JG Quintel (Regular Show). All three of them were writers for Flapjack. The animation alone is very impressive, but it's the writing that makes any cartoon. I'll have to check this out, see if Hirsch can live up to his colleagues.
All the symbols around the circle are things that have appeared on clothing, right? The rainbow and llama sweaters, Seus's shirt, Dipper's hat, and so on.

So I watched the first four episodes (in reverse order, unintentionally) and my opinion is still pretty much the same that this is a pretty solid series. It still isn't a truly great series in my eyes, but it's only been four episodes and I am looking forward to see what direction they take the series in.

I think the 27th of July and 3rd of August are supposed to have a bunch of new episodes from other shows. Phineas and Ferb have an hour long episode on one of those days (I think that's what the ad said) and Generic Tween Comedies #7957 and #7960 are probably the others.
A two week gap because of other shows isn't nowhere near as bad as Cartoon Network's scheduling. "Hoped you like that handful of Young Justice episodes; see you at the end of September!"

I like that they're putting so much work into the messages. Hopefully the one in episode 7 will be important to things.
Its funny, episode 6 has the same problems for me as episode 2 and 3. If its not the overarching plot, the show isn't nearly as good. The book based storylines seem to have the best hook and the most effort put into them.
I didn't like this epside. Mainly because it didn't follow the "monster of the week" format very well. Fear and mystery is one of the show's selling points. This one felt very out of character and boring. That, and you know an episode is bad when there's a montage.

New episode, "Dipper vs. Manliness", was hilarious. So many quote-worthy things. Someone needs to make "Looks like you've got… emotional problems hair flows through the wind" into a .gif. Lots of little giggles along the way, then it suckerpunches you when the multi-bear listens to the Icelandic pop sensation and Dipper sings along instead of killing him.
Too funny.
Really liked it and I liked the moral of it at the end of how he was "his own man" even though he didn't clear all 99 recipe trials of Kamabakka Kingdom 50 trials of manhood.
Oh, man, this is one of the man reasons I love this forum. Without you guys I never would've found this show. I must admit, it is awesome. Impresses me more each episodes. Gives me another reason besides Phineas and Ferb to actually turn on the Disney channel.
