Amazing chapter..I'm lost for words seriously.. Kidd looked freaking badass, Apoo still as annoying as always and Smoker is freaking awesome! Interesting to see if Law and Luffy are going after the same Yonkou Kidd and the others are.

Oda's really good in drawing expressions, you can really see the difference in Tashigi and Smoker (in their own bodies and when they were not).

Loved this. Too bad it didn't come out few days earlier, Kid might have gotten few extra votes in the tournament.
Law switching chains was maybe a bit unconvincing, but rest was awesomeness.

I guess that makes sense if he only did it with his own chains. How could he free Luffy, tho? Well, he said he "melted" the locks, but that seems like bad translation. I guess Mangastream's translation with clear that up.

I saw it as similar to Luffy's. Luffy's whole body is rubber right? But he's not a logia. Caribou's whole body is swamp, which is entirely different than any other type of logia we've seen to date, which have all been elemental based.
Every logia we've seen, when attacked, everything would pass right through them. With caribou, everything gets absorbed.
Like I said, I know I'm wrong, but I always thought he was lying, because it's more intimidating to fight a logia than a paramecia.
And the idea of him hiding his power when he was one the Straw Hats ship always bothered me. Because, if he was a logia, he'd assume none of them could actually hurt them.
I don't mean to cause an issue out of this now. I was just wondering if Oda or character who wasn't Caribou had confirmed it.
If the strawhat's went to fishman island before the time skip with him on the ship it would still be a stupid idea to kill them because he would not be able to get the ship to fishman island which means he would die because he is a devil fruit user user the sea!

the chains are not made up of 100% seastone just like the sea stone net in impel down that broke they have small bits of sea stone in them to stop stop devil fruit users using their power.
if they used 100% sea stone then they would not be able to make as many of them and wg is made up of over 100 places in world so that makes things very hard.

A truly amazing chapter this week. Smoker fighting with the Strawhats is going to be superb, can't wait.
I'm thinking that the Kidd/Apoo/Hawkins alliance is going to go and attack the same Yonkou that Law and Luffy are going to go after. Then maybe a few of the other supernovas will be said Yonkou's underlings, and it will descend in to a mass Supernova reunion/brawl. Awwwww yeeeeaaaaahhh.

Frankie is really nice. Were you CC, how can you stop the “Coup the boo” from Frankie’s butt? It is really hard, because you can’t use a chain. You should have to use some kind of shield. It felt like there was a lot of progress this chapter. Even with so much revealed, a better translation could really help clarify a few minor things for me.
! So kudos for people guessing Law as handing the message over to Chopper.
! Cover page. Given it says Volume 3 instead of final volume, so I'm assuming we're sticking with Caribou. I guess it's nice to be reminded that Jinbe can harm logias.
! Another pirate alliance. Those pages were so much fun. This saga is going to be pretty amazing and chaotic. I hope Oda remembers those background characters for the Supernova crews and make them kinda important.
! Tashigi's reaction to Smoker over the bra thing was funny/cute. And Franky seems to be off to the Sunny doing something. That'll be a fun surprise in the near future.
! The other translation thing I wondered about was whether Brownbeard actually said dwarves in the chapter since they are a tribe. Nice inconsequential thing.
! Second to last two-page spread. So Kinemon can cut "steel?" Trans says iron but… Also I caught Brook going into soul mode.One last thing. This chapter did clarify something I wondered. Whether the bounties in that special WSJ book were "confirmed". I doubted, but I was just curious if it was okay to assume Jinbe's new bounty was between Law's and Luffy's. I guess not.

I sat back and laughed at those people moaning before saying the arc was going downhill. I explained that not every chapter is going to be awesome because they play different function. The previous few chaps have basically been a tense and informative set up to what we're most likely going to get now… PURE MADNESS.
Luffy as usual seeing the fun in near-death situations. Also the pattern to the Lawffy Alliance seems to be Luffy acting on his own accord all the time, followed by Law kickin off about it lol. But as usual Luffy's random choices will lead in the right direction. I'm thinking Law is making the alliance with Luffy because he may have heard of the other three-way alliance that might be going down. I thought it was Hawkins before a couple of chaps back, but I didn't expect one of my fav supernovas to return - Apoo is FEARLESS! Ever since he chose to attack Kizaru instead of run, I always expected mad shit from him. I wonder how CP9 will get involved, or are they for another arc.
Jinbe suprised me too... like "get the fuck outta here!". I expected this new cover story to lead to Caribou meeting someone we may already know (or not) and revealing the location of Poseidon. I mean Oda didn't plant Caribou there in that important convo between Robin and King Neptune for nothing.

kid has the highest Sn bounty till now, im kinda hoping drake's got the highest (since he is like ace to kaido(u) :ninja:)here's what i think is going to happen, kid's alliance will attack big mam and will loose probably after an arduous (even tough kid lost to her once :ninja:) and law and luffy will arrive to beat the whats-remaining-of-the-yonkou or they could team up as well
ps: why is basil so calm? i mean its the way we've seen him since his introduction, but he looks he's bored. How can one be bored when talking about taking down a yonko?:wassat:
Luffy met ACE (brother 1) in Arabasta (1st major villain in Grand line). He met SABO (Brother 2) in Dressrosa (1st major villain in new World). Going with this, he will meet his Mother in Raftel (1st island after which he will most likely declare war and change world structure)?
