No one expects Stronger to fight anyone, so for this sort of thing, he's not counted, just like how the Merry wasn't counted in the crewmembers by Oda (the First, the Second, the Third, etc.). Besides, that sort of thinking only shuts down theories and makes things less fun.

Hattori was am member of CP9 as well and sadly he hasn't got his own fight. Thousand sunny is living as well, so we should count it or the spirit as nakama as well… meaning that we won't get any members anymore

If anything, it would be cooler if Luffy succeeded in rescuing Jinbē, where he failed in rescuing Ace.

However none of the characters mentioned were solely dependent on their partner and could do without them (Spandam is arguable) . Doc Q seems to be very dependent on Stronger seeing as how he's rarely seen off him. Mohji and Richi are seen away from each other a lot.

I think what Superbear 22 is trying to sa is that Lucci wasn't "bound" to Hattori/ he didn't depend on Hattori for moving while Doc Q seems to not be able to move at all without stronger.

I actually love all of these ideas. Blackbeard does have fantastically strong and infamous members, but they're not as good a team as the Straw Hats. Also, to add I'd love if the crew vs. crew battle was in the sea. It's a manga about pirates, I want a naval battle at some point, especially to validate the fact the ship is a weapon in itself.
Also, the Jozu comment is pretty inspired as well. Had NOT thought of that.

Wasn't it a given that this would happen? The same thing happened at Enies Lobby.
I think that Laffitte will fight Nami, because Brook wasn't even introduced back when Laffitte was. The older SHs should fight the older BBs, IMO. Also, it would just be too cruel if Nami never fought a strong opponent throughout the whole series.
Then who will Zoro fight?
And just to make an earlier point clear, Brooke IS a hypnotist. Nami uses the weather to create illusions of herself or distort the air to become invisible, but Brooke manipulates people's minds and perceptions to make them see and do what he wants. Of the other hypnotists we've seen in the series, one could make people fall asleep on command, and power up his allies (1,2,3 Django!). Another could manipulate someone's emotions and sense of direction (Color trap: Yellow-Green, Color of Friendship). The last is able to set subliminal commands in the minds of others (Uhhh… some quote from Lafitte). Brooke can: make people fall asleep with his violin, manipulate the emotions of his crowd, and give people commands that they have to follow, like to shoot their guns into the air, because they, "are having a festival right now! That other stuff was just a dream."

He does jump super high because he is so light, as well as running on water. It was commented on a couple times during his first meeting with the crew.
There is no sense to discuss the final battles now. A lot of things could happen, for example Brook could die, before the SHs fight the BBs.
