Do none of you know that Diable Jambe means "Devil's leg" ? If It isn't Diable Jambe, that's what it'll be. FUNimation uses Diable Jambe in the subbed version though.I don't recall them ever translating Sanji's attacks into English so why worry about this?

I feel like this set is lacking in moments I want to see, yet I can come up with a whole list of them. Gear second, eating devil fruit, blueno, robin's past, new cp9 members.

Eh. I'm sure I'll be more excited when it gets here. I'm really overloaded in material to watch, due to the criterion collection sale at b&n.

The set shipped from amazon on Saturday. Maybe I'll get it a day early, I hope.

Me neither. Its pretty weird since most things don't ship on Saturday anyway. Well at least its gonna be here by Tuesday but I doubt Amazon would deliver things early anyway.

same for me, the email i got after i preordered mine the other day said mine won't be delivered until tuesday. that's fine with me but for the fact that in my area, UPS doesn't get around to delivering until 6-7 pm! it's almost as if my area is the very last 1 they make deliveries to before finishing up for the day !

Got the set

I had heard the rumors about the 'last time on one piece' segment, but I hadn't realized if be watching five minutes of entire repeated scenes from the previous episode. Fifteen minutes of new material, plus slow pacing. I can't believe the first four episodes are mostly the Franky Family fighting. Now I see why I wasn't super excited to get this set.

Second half of the set looks to be good. And the 'season premiere' was a great episode.

I had never imagined fukuro's voice to be that childish, but I suppose if it was like that in the Japanese version, it's how Oda intended. Jabra's voice seems good so far. Kumadori's is fitting. Don't care about the giants. Still love Spandam's voice.

I have to say right off the bat this is the best use of the Gold logo yet . I couldn't wait, I just had to sample Luffy vs Blueno….. GODDAMN!!

Oh yeah, new opening. How'd they handle it? Was it on a clean map BG with the same animation as the original, or was it like Kokoro no Chizu where it had a black box covering up the logo, but still doing the same movements?

They used a clean opening, So it's seamless .

I'm going back to watch the set from the beginning now, but I sampled Saul and yeah southern accent, but I like it

The new cover photo on funimations facebook page is kinda bad, Luffy has his scar missing and they've altered the art style far too much for my liking.

The logo in Brand New World doesn't "animate" other than popping in and sort of getting closer to the screen. So like We Are! and Hikari E, it was easy for FUNi to just rotoscope the gold logo over it. The creditless opening keeps the blue logo.

Since no one else has done it, let me go record that Robin clip.

I wasn't worried about the animation for it since I knew that like on We Are, as long as it's a separate screen it should be fine. But with Bon Voyage having simple logo animation of it simply slowly moving back and having that completely cut out I just couldn't help but wonder. Though I imagine that's likely due to that animation happening over a 3D moving shot of the Merry.

I know it's a nitpick but I'd really love if FUNi had a decent graphic artist that could jsut quickly take care of those logo animation issues and maek it seamless for every OP. Look at how this guy handles the FUNi logo in

for instance, and yet I'm sure when we actually get to those openings the transitions will be horrible. Though of course us getting CRS is up in the air.

Well, nice to see some of you all got your sets. I'll hope for Walmart getting in S5V1 tomorrow. If not, then I'm gonna have to wait a bit longer for Enies Lobby. As much as I love OP, I have a lot of backlog anime to buy before some LE sets become "sold out" and too expensive to buy. Keeping my fingers crossed for Walmart and $20…c'mon Walmart! XD

How old are the average forum posters?

The recap for the second episode on this disc is six minutes. The themes are about four. We get 13 minutes of fresh episode every episode. That's just absurd.
