The red tone kept disappearing between pages this chapter. It was just inconsistent. Which seems unusual for Murata.
And his bloodshot eye too. Its not only the hair that kept coming back and forth.
I guess he'll edit those mistakes lately.

Loved the last couple of chapters
By far my favourite manga currently
And another sympathy upgrade for Garou.
The webcomic left ambiguous if the heroes he assaulted survived the ordeal.
Both times, the MA task is represented as a jump off the slippery slope for Garou but before it was one because it suddenly meant killing many and uninvolved people while in the remake its merely due to killing at all.
It also redefines what "monster" means. The original defined it as someone who kills lots of people for fun but the remake redefines it as "killing at least one hero" which seems both a much smaller scale and in contrast to what monsters are shown to do during the series.
I was thinking the same thing. Matches up too well since he made the effort to spare the lives of the mercenaries and clearly wouldn’t mind eliminating some MA members.
Capturing those mercenaries was to make him qualified to join the MA, in Garous case he has to kill a hero.
In the one page where the monsters are yelling to kill the mercenaries (12 in the above link), there's one wanting to civilly divide them up while all the others are screaming for blood, lol.
Next chapter, Saitama goes on a journey by boat :ninja:
Murata gave interesting behind the scenes info on stream again. I’m on mobile so apologies for typos:
- ONE’s original Suiryu’s setting was very different. In first storyboard he was Ring-Ring’s brother and uses Drunken Fist (酩酊拳) instead of Dark Body Fist (冥躰拳). He gets drunk, go all out against Saitama, lose, and Ring-Ring comforts him, telling him to work harder in the future. This setting was scrapped as drunkard vs Gouketsu was deemed too comical and they wanted to show despair. Murata didn’t say who changed the settings.
PS: the kanjis for “dark body” and “drunken” are homonyms in Japanese, both are pronounced “meitei” which is pretty cool. Suiryu also means water dragon, maybe there’s a connection there as well.
- Tatsumaki power downgrade: Mutata said the animation team misinterpreted ONE’s intentions when animating the Ancient King fight. ONE only wanted Tats to drop a big boulder on Ancient King. Before the boulder hits him, Ancient King has a flashback of the meteor that destroyed his race eons ago and starts to scream. She was not supposed to pull meteor from space, if she could do that, she should bring down Boros ship no problem (Murata’s words not mine). The meteor scene was supposed to be flashback only.
- Mutata said season 2 anime is likely cut a lot of content from the Superfight Arc, making it 2 episodes or so.
I wonder if it means Season 2 will end with the Elder Centipede fight.
Maybe it's just me, but i remember this thread to be more "lively" some months ago…
Well, yeah. The conclusion of elder centipede was some months ago. Murata takes his sweet time releasing things, and the conversation is carried with it. Along with random tidbits of how the work day goes.
I'd say the calm is better than filling it with a wankfest like arguing who would win between Goku and Saitama
The true battle is between King and Mr Satan.
The true battle is between King and Mr Satan.
well i'd argue that saitama would walk by and knock Mr. Satan out so King would win in a way
! To be honest, I am not getting sick of that joke.
How would he have time for that?
If he can drop 150 page in a month, he can do anything
Yesss new chapter! Seems great as always!
Translations(until we wait for MS).
What a damn cool chapter. How many times is Garou going to be one-punched by Saitama, anyway?

Serves him write for dining and dashing.
I love how murata finds any reason to put in fubuki though lol
I'll never be fed up of this joke lmao
Also, the pathetic look on Saitama's face
Such a nice chapter!

Ahhh, Fubuki…

Boichi's working on 3 at the same time and he doesn't have source material to draw from. Murata can probably manage it.

I don't know who that is.

Following Oya's footsteps, are we? Not bad.
The chapter… average.
Vol 15 extra chapter and bonus content translated
Vaccine Man…My old friend.

Thanks Redon for keeping us with updates man.
JC, when this epicness will be well animated, who the Hell needs Drugs anymore?
Interesting that Orochi was a human and not an ancient being.
Love that the first consequence mentioned from removing your limiter is balding.
Chapter chapter.
So that solved the takoyaki mystery… uhmmm
"Why takoyaki?" I'm dying…
Genus indirectly saved World Hunger, someone give the man a medal.
Garous speech to Tareo is the same one that Saitama gave it to Fubuki, love the parallels..
@K.:

It's funny, but it's only a joke. Garou isn't losing his hair after all.
On the other hand his right eye changed. But he has probably not fully removed his limiter yet

Garou is trying to go the monster route and considering that Saitama has ridiculed him in every encounter, I'd say his strength pales in comparison.
So it's a joke, but it is serious. Don't be surprised if Watchdog-man is so bald, he compensates with his fur suit.

His strength is shit in comparison. He didn't break his limiter yet. And even if he does, it doesn't mean he will be Saitama's equal.
But, first off, he is not going the monster way because he just tried to save a child for the third (if I'm right) time.
And there is a reason why Genus was talking about breaking one's limiter while Garou was fighting these monsters. I mean, the author is saying something here. It's the power of composition mate.
Garou's definition of monster is not a traditional one, he sees it from a perspective of strength to do what you want. That includes saving a child.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Genus could be referring to the limiter before becoming a monster.
