You favorite OP battle scene!!

Let's talk about battle scene about the OP characters, Pro or Cons it doesn't really matter for as long as they are part of One Piece.

Mine will be! Ussopp vs. Luffy in Water 7, well i really like how Oda gave Ussopp a break and is kinda awesome how he fights with Luffy despite that Ussopp is part of the weak Trio and not a fruit user. I liked how he set up those traps for Luffy and fight like he's standing on equal grounds and i would like to see Ussopp do that on a real enemy this time.

So how about you what's your story?

Not sure if I have a favorite but one of the more memorable fights has to be Usopp v Perona. I for one didn't see it coming and figured Oda would again make it a catfight with Nami. The way they both trolled each other was great and I loved the debates between people for and against Perona joining. rofl

Yeah yeah! i like the concept of Perona's fruit that can turn everyone to negative and the part that it doesn't work the same way to Ussopp, Oda really pulled off some strings on their fight aswell! that giant hammer hitting perona's mental side and knocking her unconscious was hilarious.

Some more details about the fight would be much appreciated, speaking of Kizaru! I want to see a rematch between him and Rayleigh! their battle in Saboady was epic even tho it's quite short of a battle.

Usopp vs Perona

How bout that finisher?

Great thing about Usopp is his fights can be so creative. I had no clue how he was gonna beat Perona. Hell… I have no idea how Usopp was gonna beat most of his opponents, but they're always concluded in unique and creative ways.

I love the fight at Saboady consisting 3 Super Novas Luffy, Kidd and Law! their individual and selfish way of fighting even tho they team up together was epic!

Franky vs the owl guy from CP9.

I loved reading Franky's brawler style. It was such a nice breath of fresh air. At the time that I read it, I thought the fight was one of the most brutal battles ever seen in one piece. Maybe not in terms of total damage dealt, but just badass recklessness.

Dirty, unfair, tactics shouldn't be expected by a protagonist, but they should be predicted by a pirate

I still think the Strawhats Vs Oars and Moria has yet to be topped so far. It had a bunch of cool moves, tense scenes and wacky moments that made it fun to re-watch/read

But I like the war in Marineford but it isn't my favorite because I dont like its outcome.

Definitely enjoyed that fight. I wish he always had that kind of dedication, normally he's too scared or not confident in his abilities. That said, I haven't even made it to the time skip yet, so I hope after that he has more confidence and is fighting like the true sniper he is.

I love that Ussop vs Luffy too. It just show how serious Ussop can be.

Other scene I like.
-Arlong crew vs strawhat - I like every fight, luffy/zoro/sanji/ussop vs arlong/haji/kurobi/jubb
-Baroque work vs strawhat - I like every fightgreat except ussop & chopper vs mr. 4 & mole aunty

I love that Fukuro vs Frankly too but not because battle. I just love how Choper switch his drink for tea/veggie punch, would love to see more if that!

he lost, but he won anyway in the end becuz he was able to save Nami and Usopp, which was his true purpose, and screwed Maxim without Enel knowing.

and i think that's cooler than anything.

Most of you have already commented some of my favorites. As for one no one has mentioned I loved the White Beard Arc fights. Basically White Beard, WB Pirate Alliance, and Luffy and his "crew" vs. Navy (Admirals, Pacifistas etc.) and Shichibukai

Every Luffy battle (though I skipped a lot of it first, knowing Luffy eventually will win)
It is sooo inspiring when in some point we think "OMG Luffy, just stop" but he keeps fighting with his weak-looking-rubber-ability till the very end,, it was so motivating

And for the very most, I think it's Strawhat vs Oz+Moria
I've waited for non-solo battle so much, and when they are doing it, it's legit.

To me, my favorite one was Luffy vs Bellamy. That one shot KO was epic.

An uncommon that was really good was when Whitebeard crushed Akainu with his quake quake fruit.

Yeah, when i remember Bellamy i always try to find the episode where Luffy and Zoro got laughed at, and then the episode where they found out that Luffy and Zoro has more bounty than Bellamy.

Luffy vs Arlong will always be my favourite. It's practically the only time Luffy actually met some REAL resistance (no gear second or Zoro) it was just freaking Luffy against Arlong (Usopp helped with some eggs). AND IT WAS AWESOME.
