Life balls are quite a problem. Mohyan Shaishai's power doesn't work on Midora...

So things are moving super fast and shit and no cooking arc and maybe Shima was forced to hype things up like crazy. . .

. . .but fuck me sideways TWICE if this wasn't badass on a new level. I'll never tire of praising Shima for his visual representations, and Monster Acacia is. . .scary as all fucks. Even that tiny part of him is scary as fuck.

Midora having some feelings when facing Joa is nice. Not a lot of real, heartfelt emotions in Toriko, so this was really nice.

Man, this was. . .really good, regardless of anything else going on at the moment.

Yeah, I'll still hold that the placement of these events is super weird, but now that we're here, I'm glad that we're exploring it thoroughly. Weirdly sudden endgame-setup though it is, the imagery does a good job of selling the upcoming DOOM; the little Langolier alone is all kinds up freaky.
Also, I'm glad the neo goons aren't done for yet. Now that they've assumed the big bad organization moniker, I hope the chefs and the blue nitro especially get built up more before their final demises, like Starjun/Tommyrod/Grinpatch before them.

Well, guess it's obvious that Joa is "monster Frohze" now (by the same process as they are currently doing for Acadia).

Though it's a bit odd since it seems to require the entire full course + a shit ton of spare food for a revival, and corrupts the individual in the process. We were lead to believe ANOTHER was sufficient, guess that's no longer the case.

Also Zaus being useless was pretty amusing.

I hope Jirou, Setsuno, Chichi and Midora will stay safe. Also I feel sorry for the Leo Tiger, that was cool. A near 4000 CL beast eaten so easily by an infinitesimal part of monster Acacia…it's terrifying...

Shima is pretty much the opposite of Oda. He obviously is really impatient with a short attention span. He probably thought ANOTHER arc was going too slow while, in my opinion, it was one of the better paced arcs of Torio up until now. Everything going on at once is pretty badass and all, but I would like some more explanations on Acacia's story before the world end starts.

LIFE is like the Dragonballs except in this case you only need to have one ball to make life/death in your series feel meaningless. Also you can have a whole bunch at once.
