omfg, I'm already eyeing so many things I want from this wonderfest…

Kid looks creepy! No wait... not creepy, scary as ****! I see three things in Kid as a character, "coolness", "evilness" and "scaryness", and they didn't go for the cool factor. I mean, it looks good, but I'm not sure if I'd feel confortable to have him near my other figures... >_>;

Kung Fu point... the paint job actually looks perfect. But I'm not sold on his size. He's ridiculously tiny.

Killer looks ok, it would be hard to crew him up, though the DBS super sayan hair doesn't convince me.

Perona looks good, but I had the same reaction as maggie, whats up with the metallic blue paint on the Bearsy plush? I wouldn't expect it to shine like that, at all. Didn't Moria's surgeon use mostly fabric to cover any gaping wounds on his zombies? (like the Oars curtain... lol)

I should of bought the figuarts of Shira instead of the World Scale 1/144th, she looks much nicer and I was dissapointed at the scale of the 1/144th Shira. Not too mention that the GLL Shira is the same pose and size, it appears as the 1/144th at 1/3 the cost. :/

Wow!! I'm stunned that we get to see so many painted figures!! I don't mean to sound greedy, but I was really hoping for Franky & Shiliew! But I'll survive :)

Looking forward to seeing Drake! Impressed by the detail on Kidd!! Killer and Perona were as I expected them to look and Chopper…....well it's another Chopper, we'll have to wait and see what else is out in November, might pick him up if it is a quiet month.

Drake…I called it since it seemed an obvious choice for them since they care more about money than getting out chars who deserve it.

Of course the 1/144th World Scale is the worst.

Impressed with POP Kid and Killer. And the Perona is much much better than her IK version. Not creepy at all.

This exactly. Shame that the rather nice sculpt is ruined by FA's terrible QC. I had 3 of the same FA ace and had to swap parts to get a decent looking one. This would probably be more of the same but I don't want to shell out this time (I suppose if I get a terrible one I might look through the 50 Aces that are bound to be at New York Comicon to get a decent one). Ugh… he's got a big splotch on his forehead, the paint on his teeth has gotten on his lip, don't get me started on that terrible green...

Doesn't this company feel bad when they see their bastardized final product? Have they no shame?

Now I doubt they even have a quality control department.

They use different material for the left hand and legs. Different material = different reaction to the paint = ugly coloring.

What a shame, it could be the best scaled Ace figure, yet Bandai Tamashii ruined it. Living up to their reputation.

And no Franky or Shiliew either, not even the prototypes…....Although I couldn't help but notice that there is a picture of the 1.5 Lucci, but that nowhere on that main stand can I see him displayed. All I can hope it that there was another display, but that no photo's have yet surfaced.......wishful thinking I know

Its safe to say that Megahouse are kicking their feet with the SA releases. By the time Franky comes they'll have re-released Robin, Usopp and Brook.

I suppose we've already got our pre-orders for August (Chopper), September/October/November (Perona/Kid/Killer). Although I'm surprised to see Megahouse slowing the pace down so much. So far we've got:

yeah i wasn't really expecting anything new at all.

but if they make a pre-timeskip Drake… god damn it, he's the only supernova i like (albeit only for shallow reasons so far, admittedly) and i can't say no to that. i'm guessing that wasn't true though? :/

and i'm overall disappointed with how Perona looks... i can't put my finger on it, but i'm not liking how she's turning out.

Perhona looks lifeless. That's my problem with her. We all know they're toys but usually via the face and expression they look more lifelike. Perhona on the otherhand looks dead.

That's Ajiken sculpts for you. Emotionless. Perhaps we'll get an alternate face with a bit more expression.

On a more positive note, Chara Hobby 2012 C3 X Hobby in on 25th August!! So less than 4 weeks already and i'm sure we'll see a painted Franky and more release dates!!

The delay with Franky I think is down to one of two things.

MH are worried that once they finish releasing SA Mugiwara that casual collectors will stop buying, so they are trying to string out the releases for as long as possible in a hope that consumers will buy the "in-betweeners"
ATTM are trying to include so many alternate parts, poses, accessories, that they are genuinely struggling with the logistics of the figures stability, etc. since he does appear to be pretty top heavy!

I don't think Perona's that bad. I think the main problem with her is how her eyes are since they show a lot to a character. Nothing new in POPs other than Drake, so a little glad. This year has been bloated with a lot of releases, not just from OP for me. I hope they don't do a three POP release in a month for Perona, Kidd and Killer. That will really suck. I'd actually welcome a cut down on POP releases. I don't really want to see a POP of a small roll side character like Vista happen again.

The Petite Chara Land are super cute, but they don't look to be the best in quality. Looks like they've dropped the ball on those. Hook Z Robin with hat looks nice. I like how they used a question mark, when we all know it's Nami. Though it's annoying they're constantly redoing the same characters. At least this time Z is a good excuse, though wouldn't be surprised if we see Strong World ones at some point.

Shogun Franky POP would be hella awesome!! That was my 3rd reason, but in reality I can't see MH doing it, although we did see Franky with his ear-muffs on at Jump Festa, so you never know…...

This is very true. I'm fortunate enough in that I've all but finished collecting figures from other series now. I've completed my Max Factory Guyver BFC's and imho Medicom haven't done anything of interest since DBZ & JJBA. Figma Berserk & now Fairy Tail are tempting, and i've still got PLEX Toriko to hunt down for a good price, but OP POP is where i'm at right now!!!

I see you've relisted your NEO-3 Zoro, but i'm afraid I can't meet your reserve price.

Same here. I actually wanted to buy her since I really like her as a character and her post-timeskip outfit is gorgeous. :/ But I guess I'll skip the POP and get the IK version.

All in all Wonder Fest 2012 was pretty weak when it comes to One Piece merchandise. Only getting coloured versions of already announced figures is really disappointing in my book and definitely less than I initially expected to see. No idea if they're maybe up to some surprise in the next few days but being honest, I doubt it. Just a weak presentation this time it seems…
