Yeah, double chance campaign prize is really expensive because it is really limited. Only 100 pieces of one IK release. It comes with certificate too for authenticity. :D

I really think this new line even surpass GLM. Thanks to the "Midas touch" of Kengo.

I have sold my POP CB EX Ace, Luffy and Sabo due to this line. And would sell the rest of POP CB (not many though) but will keep Robin, Nami and Nojiko. :)
Unless GLC release superior Robin and Nami in the future. :D

I'm a bit torn on those GLC. On one hand, they're not exactly among my favorite characters, but on the other hand they're adorable

Since they're usually pretty cheap I'll probably get them.

My problem with GLC (much like GLM) isn't the quality it's who they're releasing. Unless people said many times here I never would have recognised the other guy who they did this time alongside Lucci.

At least Robin's coming out. Will be nice to see a bigger Robin figure from Banpresto (I'm certain they have something against her) But that'll probably mean having to buy a Spandam.

I think people need to relax regarding GLM character selection. Maybe Kengo likes Spandam a lot and he knows the only chance for Spandam to sell out is by releasing him with Robin! :D
And it's not that they're not related. Spandam could be at Robin's age during Ohara buster call.
Anyway CP9 shall be made into GLC first before Shichibukai and Supernova following the sequences of Oda's drawing these children version on SBS.

SBS Vol. 44: CP9 children version

SBS Vol. 63: Shichibukai children version

SBS Vol. 64: Supernova children version

So next GLC probably would be the Shichibukai, and then Supernova.
Or would Banpresto make the whole CP9 children? I doubt it. Maybe they're testing the water with these two volumes first.

Spandam is so thoroughly unlikeable, though. Also, he was 19 during the Ohara incident.

I'm fairly sure the likes of Zoro, Sanji, Usopp, Nami, Nojiko, Vivi, Franky, Brook (alive version?) and maybe even Shirahoshi would be more important to make than CP9, Supernova, Shichibuki.

And it won't sell out XD Remember that these are PRIZE items. Any bets that Robin will be gone while Spandam will be left in every single machine.

This is how we get such random chars in the GLM, GLC, WCF range. Bandai and Megahouse seem to judge what chars people WANT and what thet don't want with sales. (Which is why we are seeing a lot more female chars in Figuarts as of late since the males don't sell half as well.) Banpresto don't have that, they make the chars and then it's up to the prize machine people if they wanna stock them. This could be why we saw incomplete lines like Will of D, Marines etc. (And seemingly GLL and Snap Girls which is kinda wtf and opposite the normal XD)

Nah, I think you underestimated Oda's sense of business. I believe he drew these children for the purpose of GLC.
Too many clues to ignore it: Strawhat black suit in Strong World, the change of character design after time skip, the long hair + big boobs for the girls after timeskip, etc… :D

I don't think Oda did that to sell the figure. Drawing the elephant I mean. And considering it's been like 4 or 5 years since first showing the Cp9 as kids to these being released? Then nope. I'm not really sure why Banpresto are doing them to be honest. A Lucci GLM? Yeah could understand that. But I'm honestly surprised there's anyone who even wants these chars as kids.

SW Black Suits being marketable? errrrr. Kinda. In the case of Shanks and Ace which were only a quick sketch for a game promo? Hell yes. The rest? I dunno. For example Robin woulda probably been more popular in her Stripy Green clothes than the suit. Surprised we never saw that released(same goes for Chopper in the Hugh Hephner pink robe pose.)

Maybe it's just me but the long hair + big boobs argument doesn't really work on figures. Nami + Hancock are the main figures getting made. Then Robin and Shirahoshi. But lets look at some other big boobed girls with long hair. Domino? Hina? Sadi-Chan? Vivi? Some names there that didn't really get the figure treatment that much. (vivi got for importance I suppose. But even then she has very few figures.) If sex sells then surely we'd have a Sadi-Chan POP by now (thank god for Figuarts)
