HQ version of this week chapter out: http://www.batoto.net/read/_/227235/tower-of-god_v2_ch101_by_the-company
There are some important points cleared in this version:
The item about which Madoroko talks at the beginning was not promised to the Workshop (as it appeared in mangacow version) but promised by the Workshop to FUG. Given that, now Madoroko knows that Reflejo is breaking their deal, he won't let Reflejo go away with that item. If I'm not wrong, the item is Baam equipped with the thorn… So that would be big news, since it'd mean the Workshop, or at least those members of it that worked together with FUG, could be going for Baam. And the solvent likely has not only the power to neutralize Reflejo but also to rip the thorn off Baam... (That must be painful.)
Now, Cassano is the informant of Madoroco. He betrayed FUG. But... what was that thing that he was requesting to Reflejo some chapters ago and that he now seems to have given to Madoroko? Is it the information Madoroko now talks about? It could be since, also right now we come to know that FUG was giving information to the Workshop, which likely was a part of their deal.
Cassano becomes an interesting character, because if he's not much powerful, he knows a lot about the current events. He works with his own agenda, not teaming with FUG anymore, neither with the Workshop... Sure he will be playing some other role in the future. But maybe the future is now: we know he wants to destroy everything (mixture of anarchist and sociopath and former tortured child.. euch..) and SIU made Koon to say Emile could be the most powerful weapon in the tower. So, yes Mr Cassano, that would be a good scheme if it's what you are thinking about... to use Emile to overthrow the tower... And, I bet 10 to 1 that the traveller is no match to him... Anyway, looking forward in that part to see what SIU has in mind there.
In this second reading Reflejo became to me a formidable rival. The idea of a shadow rival is great and well accomplished by SIU, imo. Just how to stop a knowledgeable and tricky nasty shadow? He was exclusively prepared to stop Baam; he knows about all (up to now seen) Baam's abilities and powers, and he knows Baam's personality... For god sake... Koon is a genious!
Grumpy's interpretation at the end of the version is just... hillarious
