The show is basically about this girl name Emily, who moved back home to take revenge on the people that destoryed her life. I'm really enjoyed the first two episodes of the series so far and its my favorite new show for the fall season. I'm curious how the storylines will go on with Victoria taking an eye on Emily.
Revenge
-
-
Damn, last night episode was great.
! Emily locking up the thearpist in storage shed was insane.
The character development on this show is getting more interesting with each episode. Nolan is becoming my favorite character on the show.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Some big news. Revenge have been picked up for the full season.
-
Revenge is renewed for a 2nd season.
With how Season 1 storyline is going currently, I'm happy that a 2nd Season of Revenge is coming this fall.
Last nights episode with the flash back to 2002 was great. I really like Flashback Jack's long hair. And I did like the return of all the earlier people that Emily eliminated during the first half of the season return for cameos.
-
DAMN!!!! That was a huge cliffhanger with tons of stuff.
! Fake Amanda is back…. Victoria might be gone, and Emily is one new revenge.
One thing I have been liking the last few episodes is that I like Evil Charlotte.
I can't wait for Season 2 this fall.
-
this series started like a bland soap opera but it grew on me a lot after six or seven episodes. in the end it was a pretty good season!
-
Yeah, the first few episode were okay. But once
! Fake Amanda gets into the show and Tyler blackmailing people. Its get great.

Revenge Season 2 Starts this Sunday on ABC, after the season preimere of Once Upon a Time at 9 pm est, 8pm central. If you haven't check out the show. Season 1 is now out on dvd right now.
-
Sano, just…......stop.
-
Naw man this show is pure crack.
It's like a Daytime Soap but don't even give a fuck, it's so thrilling and over the top you just can't stop yourself from watching.
Obviously it's corny as all hell, but somehow Emily VanComp and Madeline Stowe's actual performances manage to keep you there and invested in what happens on screen.
Emily VanComp is like Batman in high heels - it's somehow refreshing to watch a revenge story where the lead has both the forethought and the means to set up these incredibly elaborate takedowns,
Yet doesn't ruin it with things like human EMOSHUNS causing her to lose her cool and mess up.I'd call Revenge a guilty pleasure but let's be real: it's pure pleasure.
I'm a few episodes away from finishing the first season, so I can't wait for Sunday. Me, my sister and her friends are going to be doing a viewing party. -
Just caught the recap special that aired tonight. (I watched all of season 1 last month.) They actually aired a short scene straight out of Sunday's premiere, which was a very, very nice treat. Basically, if people don't have the time to catch all 22 episodes of season 1, this recap's a good chance to get caught up to speed.
Anyway yes, I agree with Silence 100%. Madeleine Stowe is an amazingly thrilling ice queen and Emily van Camp has this certain ice of her own to her that makes her easy to root for, yet still scary as fuck. Silence basically summed up my own description of the show to someone earlier today: it's a guilty pleasure you don't feel guilty watching. it would be one thing if the show was poorly acted, but the two female leads are incredibly strong and the supporting cast is usually just as fun. (Nolan, yes. Declan, please die.)
Also, that season finale what what.
-
I have to explain to couple of my friends that who just finished watching season 1, I warned them that the first few episodes are little bit slow. But once you reach like in the 4th or 5th episode of the series, it begins going on fast rollar coaster ride with plot twists at every turn. Emily van Camp and Madeleine Stowe are both great as both Emily and Victoria that any scene with them in it, you know its going to be great. The supporting cast, I have to agree with Kitsune, they are usually fun characters (I'll admit I begin to like Charlotte a lot more towards the ending of Season 1 then at the beginning of the series. And I alway like Nolan, he just a great character).
The season finale is still sticking out in my mind from rewatching it last week on Abc. With all the crazy cliffhangers for certian characters. I pretty much can't wait for Sunday for the new episode to see where Emily's journey will take us to next.
-
I don't particularly feel guilty about any of my entertainment (unless it somehow involves hurting someone else, which I try to avoid usually even in minor instances), so it looks like this show is a go for me! I'll go watch the first season when I have the chance. Entertainment connoisseurs be all up in this thread and they don't usually steer me wrong.
-
Great way to start the new season, Revenge. A lot of the stuff from the ending of Season 1 finale resloved and new questions rises.
! Damn, now its seems the Greysons are going to be chasing Emily now. I have a feeling that Emily is going to have to rescue Charlotte herself now. Jack and Fake Amanda storyline was interesting as well. I have a feeling that Takeda is going to be a major player into the main storyline this season. I feel terrible for Charlotte for being a pawned her parents game to go after Emily.
-
I am so pissed about what they did with Takeda.
I was looking forward to more Hiroyuki Sanada. :(
-
I was also little bit off for a few moments when we first got to see the new Takeda. It probably going to take few episodes to get use to him.
-

Can´t be helped, Sanada is busy shooting the movies Wolverine and 47 Ronin (can not believe that they make a Hollywood movie out of the historical story, they just invented Keanu Reeves character and let him join the Ronin).
-
Very Great episode tonight.
! Victoria and Conrad does it again. They both are truly great villians with the all the terrible stuff that they did to both Daniel and Charlotte this week. The Nolan stuff this week was interesting and his new partner looks to be a interesting character who probably going to be involed in the story soon enough. I did got a good laugh from Fake Amanda with her reaction of Victoria's return. I did like the flashback between Victoria and Emily's mom, which should interesting when get to see Emily's mom in the present.
-
Time to binge on this. I'll write down my thoughts on each episode as I go unless nothing noteworthy happens.
! Episode 1: I enjoyed the quote, the opening of the sea & the narration; good hook. Double Infinity looks like a surprisingly cool symbol for such a silly name. "Set it to… DOUBLE WAMBO!" The father and daughter on the beach stuff, even though you weren't particularly invested in the characters, managed to be touching and I liked the camera angles used to portray the scenes from Emily's POV. Lots of clapping and celebration in this episode which I am sure is going to contrast with the later episodes.
! I like the music choices in this series. Feels like a series from a much earlier time; now series are opting for less music and more realism... which can be engrossing, yet barren. I'll let the show's constant swathe of music caress me & I'll embrace it.
! Episode 2: All I know is I enjoy the contrast between the rich get-togethers and the beach house. Damn, just as the dad was about to change lol. Sad stuff.
! If I see a group of burly men approaching me, thanks to this show, my first reaction is going to be to jump back. Catching someone by the arms and rendering them defenseless is just suuuuch a dick move.
! Episode 3: Whoa! That was certainly a morbid openi- oh. lol, this show can be a little corny sometimes. Ah well, ham it up. Ack, I always hate all hacking-related stuff in fiction set in our society. "I'll always be honest with you." nope.jpg. "Always" is always a red flag in shows like these when used in a confession context like that. Bet he turns against her later along with his mom. She seems to be warming up to blondebro anyway.
! Episode 4: Jeez, that mental institution stuff is harsh.
! Episode 6: That was a good one.
! Episode 7: The opening monologues with Emily are always fun to listen to. This is my second favorite, next to the intense one of the first episode. Man, some people actually live like this married couple. You may be rich, but those pencil-thin smiles sure don't agree with the notion that money buys you happiness.
! Oh man, liking this episode already. I've always wanted to see more of the Grayson's guardian, glad he's playing an intimidating role like this, even out of a job. You have to love how we can just have people say "Yeah, I'm about a 3 on the Kinsey scale," on TV now. That's one pleasant thing about modern TV. So he's 50/50?
! ...aww. The "oh shit, this is serious" button is dead. I liked his voice too, added a lot to the show. Damn. Didn't like that development.
! Episode 8: Enjoying how Jack (big bro) is relinquishing some independence to Declan (little bro). Oh wow, interesting insight into the warden. Wasn't expecting that. Hmmm, definitely some fast-paced development there near the end of the episode.
! Episode 9: Weeaboo alert in Amanda Clarke's vicinity! /sarcasm. Hahaha, oh damn, I was waiting for them to be found out. That was a sudden drop of glassware if I ever saw one.
! Episode 10: New title sequence! Fancy. Ha, Amanda you would full-screen that. Dude, Jesus. They sure make that little kid actor cry a lot. Poor thing. Wonder how long Amanda can keep up this charade of bad-talking her dad to keep her identity secret.
! Episode 11: "He stole my whale-cam". I'm…not sure that could be said so seriously in any other series, haha. Duress, huh? I'll have to watch out for that when I get married. Little side note: the dialogue seems to have jumped up a level or two in this episode.
! Hmmm, interesting episode so far! From Tyler being off his anti-psychotics to the false childhood friend stuff with Jack.I'll write down my thoughts on the rest later–cute show so far!
-
Pretty great episode tonight.
! Kira add some interesting stuff into tonight episode with the reason why she faked her death. I'm happy that Mason is back into the show again. The ending of the episode was great twist of the story of the show so far. From the preview for next week episode, things are getting to start interesting real quick.
-
Sorry to bump this without there being an episode, but I just wanted to say that I noticed a real quality jump at episode 20 and 21.
Almost caught up. Now things are gonna be difficult! Also I must say I like Victoria and Conrad's verbal jabs at each other probably the most in the series.
Damn son, that was a killer season finale.
…lol. Talk about underplaying something. Oh well whatever. (in reference to season 2 episode 1)
-
Things are getting interesting now….
! I have to say I kinda feel bad for Victoria about her past with her mother. Victoria is one character that keeps getting more and more interesting with each episode. The Nolan and Jack flashback stuff was interesting as well. Espically the stuff with Jack's Dad giving more problems for the boys is coming pretty fast.

Yup, the second season has been much better than the first.
! I'm starting to really understand what "Do you enjoy revenge?" "…When they deserved it." meant. In terrible scenarios such as the ones Victoria was placed in, I wonder if we would take revenge ourselves.
! Also, I really like club scene action. C'mon, we've all wanted to fight in a club at some point with lights flashing.
! And I feel really bad for Nolan. How would you get somebody to believe what are just labeled as conspiracy theories when it concerns the hot-button issue such as terrorism? -
I just started watching this show. Is it normal for little girls to spend a decade in jail because their dad's a terrorist? Or is there a different reason she was in jail? Also will this part of Emily's life be further explored in later episodes?

No. Yes. Yes.
Welcome aboard. Bring lots of wine. Revenge is a dish best served with sophisticated intoxication.
-
Finished season 1. Stray thoughts:
[hide]Charlotte is the most adorable cokehead ever
Was the dolphin camera the best character? I THINK SO.
Teenage delinquent crazy brunette Amanda is a much better character than boring always-suspicious-looking blonde Emily. More flashbacks please.
Victoria is the most well-dressed scenery chewer ever.
Nolan is the only gay in the world with a bad haircut.
Daniel and Jack are boring.
This show is almost more ridiculous than the Vampire Diaries. ALMOST.
I don't drink wine.
[/hide] -
Just got a chance to watch the newest episode. I have to say they are moving the plotline of the season at great pace with the new episode.
! I'm really like the slow building up of Daniel becoming like both Victoria and Conrad with how he treated Ashley at the end of the episode. For the last couple of episodes, Nolan's character development have pretty great with him going up against the Greysons in the inside. I have to admit I don't really care much of the Jack storyline that much, even through I got a feeling something big is going to happen. The final moments of the episode with Victoria and Emily is really interesting and I can't wait to see where that plotline is going to.
-
Time for me to catch up to the last episode :3 :3 I shamelessly read the spoilers, and it sounds like it's becoming real dark with how Daniel is taking after his parents' image :3. I can't wait for Emily to give them all their comeuppance. :3 Though I'd let her take revenge on me… in my own private house on the beach. :3 :3 :3
-
Pretty interesting way to come back from the break.
! The entire episode was great. From the formation of Emily and Victoria's allience to get Daniel out. The main storyline with the Organazation is getting more interesting now with the reveal of Aiden's sister being alive. Jack amd Declan storyline is finally is getting interesting now. Nolan's storyline with Marco is getting good with the new reveals of what Nolan got in mind against the Greysons.
The plot development of the main storyline is getting more great pace now with the events that what happen on tonight episode. I'm curious now how will this add up to the opening of Season 2 now.
-
Bumping this from hell, but I'm wondering if anyone else is still following this show. Obviously, the show took a massive downward spiral in Season 2, but I feel like season 3's been steadily improving all season, and last week's episode:
! Man, holy shit! I'm so so so excited by the development that Victoria's put all thepieces in play. I mean, knowing Emily is Amanda at this stage is almost irrelevant, just knowing that Emily is on a crusade of vengeance for David kinda adds so much to Victoria's character. I hope they don't reel this plot point back in with something dumb. This can change the show's entire dynamic. I dropped this show back at the beginning of season 3, RIGHT when it started getting good again, and now it's back to being my most anticipated show of the week. Anybody still around for the Revenging?
-
Revenge is good show. I do agree that some parts of Season 2 wasn't that great, but It still enjoyable. Season 3 in my opinion have been really great.
! I'm really enjoy Jack's storyline this season, with the introduction of his mother, Stevie. I'm still surpised that she was Conrad's wife before Victoria.
The last couple episode have been really great.
! The entire Victoria figuring out Emily's plan against her and the family been interesting. Since we don't know where its going and could change things.
-
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the best episode of the series so far. This show is my life again.
-
This post is deleted!
-
Wow… I didn't expect that to happen. That was a great finale.
! Emily's dad is alive. I didn't expect what to happen to Conrad and Victoria to happen. Espically with Victoria to be send to the same place that Emily's mom was send to.
I'm very interest where the series is going to now. I can't wait for Season 4 now.
-
So I stopped watching this show at the beginning of S2 because I guess I just lost interest. But fortunately I now know what's what in the Hamptons thanks to a summary by KitsuneInferno! How could I ever give up on this show?
! <kitsuneinferno>do you want spoils?
<huschel>Yes, spoil me
<kitsuneinferno>Declan dies
<kitsuneinferno>thank god
<huschel>Ah, yes. I knew that
<kitsuneinferno>random season 2 boy toy dies
<huschel>No!
<kitsuneinferno>Daniel and Emily get married, then Daniel gets evil and shoots her womb and ruins her whole life
<huschel>Hahahaha
<huschel>Classing Revenge
<kitsuneinferno>then he finds out she's Amanda and he gets a redemption arc
<huschel>Classic
<kitsuneinferno>and he becomes really likeable again
<kitsuneinferno>but then he dies
<kitsuneinferno>Jack marries Fake Amanda
<kitsuneinferno>but then she dies
<kitsuneinferno>Charlotte does ???
<kitsuneinferno>but then she leaves the show forever
<kitsuneinferno>until the last two episodes
<huschel>I like this. I feel like I know everything
<kitsuneinferno>oh yeah
<kitsuneinferno>Jack goes to kill Conrad
<huschel>What's a Conrad?
<kitsuneinferno>but Emily stops him and says "Jack no it's my Amanda Clerk"
<kitsuneinferno>the dad
<huschel>Ah
<kitsuneinferno>the evil dad
<kitsuneinferno>with the money
<kitsuneinferno>so anyway Jack joins the Revengers as Jack Widow
<kitsuneinferno>because his wife died
<kitsuneinferno>but he still has a kid named Carl
<kitsuneinferno>so there's that
<kitsuneinferno>but then the Revengers kidnap Charlotte
<huschel>Carl. Does Carl get a sheriff hat?
<kitsuneinferno>and they user her to make Conrad confess to being a rich guy with lots of money
<kitsuneinferno>on national TV
<kitsuneinferno>and Amanda's dead dad is exonerated
<huschel>That makes sense
<kitsuneinferno>meanwhile Conrad goes to prison, wishes Emily luck
<kitsuneinferno>and then he kills a priest and breaks out dressed as a fabulous priest
<kitsuneinferno>but then he dies
<huschel>XD
<kitsuneinferno>so Victoria meanwhile is all like "I'm Victoria Grayson, and you're not, so please kindly fuck yourself"
<kitsuneinferno>but then she learns that Emily is Amanda Carter
<kitsuneinferno>so Emily is like "girl no you cray"
<kitsuneinferno>so she goes to a mental hospital
<kitsuneinferno>and Emily successfully revenges her dead dad
<huschel>This show is so good!
<kitsuneinferno>but then he's alive
<huschel>What! He's just alive
<kitsuneinferno>oh in all of this, there's Margaux, who is a tub of vegetable oil
<huschel>What's the whole point of this! Was he pulling the strings to get his own revenge? Did Amanda learn anything
<kitsuneinferno>she is like "I am fashion magazone"
<kitsuneinferno>she dates Jack and they almost get married but then Jack's mom comes to town and she's Conrad's ex wife so ew what
<kitsuneinferno>but then she gets drunk and leaves
<kitsuneinferno>and then Margarine breaks up with Bread (Jack) so she starts dating Daniel and has his baby
<kitsuneinferno>but then she is hit by a truck
<kitsuneinferno>and the baby dies
<kitsuneinferno>so back to David Clork
<huschel>The Hamptons are a little bit too incestuous and its people too accident-prone
<kitsuneinferno>he is alive and was kidnapped by this one guy named Malcolm Whogivesafuck
<kitsuneinferno>so he escapes
<kitsuneinferno>and then Victoria escapes
<kitsuneinferno>with the help of that one Asgardian from Agents of SHIELD
<huschel>Right
<kitsuneinferno>who is a crazy who marries Nolan
<kitsuneinferno>but then she kills her brother and Nolan is like "girl you cray" and she falls in love with Victoria
<huschel>Wait, which Asgardian? I was mixing up shows and thought Prince Charming
<kitsuneinferno>the one who makes the boys fall in love with her
<huschel>Oooh
<kitsuneinferno>when Sif comes down to stop her
<huschel>Please end this by telling me this was S2 episode 5
<kitsuneinferno>anyway, so Victoria gets kidnapped by David and they make love again and Victoria is like "I will use David to destroy Emilia Clarke"
<huschel>All of this
<kitsuneinferno>but this fails spectacularly because dad instantly recognizes his own fucking daughter
<kitsuneinferno>and then Amarnda Thrones reveals to the world that she's a Khaleesi
<kitsuneinferno>and she is a hero
<kitsuneinferno>but then Malcolm Whatshisfuck comes back and kidnaps Emily and Verctoria
<huschel>Good lord. How many people can you kidnap
<kitsuneinferno>and Jack falls in love with Kate Whatshisfuck
<kitsuneinferno>but then she kills Daniel and Jack is like
<kitsuneinferno>"girl u cray"
<kitsuneinferno>so he shoots her with a gun
<kitsuneinferno>and Malcolm is like WHERE IS MY DAUGHTER
<kitsuneinferno>so he's like "I'm gonna kill Emily Thorne"
<kitsuneinferno>but then he dies
<kitsuneinferno>and then David gets cancer
<kitsuneinferno>and he dies
<kitsuneinferno>and Virginia and crazy Asgardian and I Can't Believe It's Not Butter form their own team of Revengers
<kitsuneinferno>and Virginia kills herself
<huschel>…
<huschel>No
<kitsuneinferno>and blows up Emily's house
<huschel>Oh Virginia
<kitsuneinferno>meanwhile, Jack becomes a cop
<huschel>I read Victoria
<kitsuneinferno>I meant Victora
<huschel>...
<huschel>No!
<kitsuneinferno>so Jack is randomly a cop immediately after getting arrested for kidnapping Charlotte
<kitsuneinferno>and he has a cop partner named Cop Partner
<kitsuneinferno>who falls in love with Emanda
<kitsuneinferno>but Emanda's like no I love Season 2 Heartthrob still
<kitsuneinferno>and then she's like no wait I love you Cop Partner
<kitsuneinferno>so they date but then Jack is like no Emilandy I love you
<huschel>I miss the kidnappings
<kitsuneinferno>so she kisses him and they make love
<kitsuneinferno>BUT THEN
<kitsuneinferno>Emily Thorne is kidnapped by the police
<huschel>Aha!
<kitsuneinferno>and put in jail for killing Victoria Clarke
<kitsuneinferno>or Grayson
<kitsuneinferno>but then Cop Partner goes to Victoria's mom's house to find that Victoria is alive
<kitsuneinferno>and he's like "girl what"
<kitsuneinferno>and then he dies
<kitsuneinferno>from Courtney Love
<kitsuneinferno>like, he is literally killed by Courtney Love
<huschel>That's an acceptable way to die
<kitsuneinferno>so Emily breaks out of prison because she's Amanda Freaking Emily
<kitsuneinferno>and she goes to kill Victoria
<kitsuneinferno>but she dies
<kitsuneinferno>and Victoria dies for realsies
<kitsuneinferno>when David appears
<kitsuneinferno>and kills her
<kitsuneinferno>and then saves Emanda
<kitsuneinferno>and then dies
<kitsuneinferno>and then Nolan divorces Crazy Girl and finds a new boyfriend
<kitsuneinferno>but then he leaves him
<kitsuneinferno>and finds a new revenger team
<kitsuneinferno>while Jack and Emily get married
<kitsuneinferno>and sail away from a literal steaming pile of corpses
<kitsuneinferno>the end
<huschel>That was wonderful</huschel></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></huschel></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></huschel></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></huschel></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></huschel></huschel></kitsuneinferno></huschel></kitsuneinferno></huschel></kitsuneinferno></huschel></huschel></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></huschel></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></huschel></kitsuneinferno></huschel></kitsuneinferno></huschel></kitsuneinferno></huschel></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></huschel></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></huschel></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></huschel></kitsuneinferno></huschel></kitsuneinferno></huschel></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></huschel></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></huschel></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></huschel></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></huschel></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></huschel></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></huschel></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></huschel></kitsuneinferno></huschel></huschel></kitsuneinferno></huschel></kitsuneinferno></huschel></kitsuneinferno></kitsuneinferno></huschel></kitsuneinferno> -
Yeah, most of season 2 wasn't that great. I will say Seasons 3 and 4 were pretty much on par with season 1.
! I really like the entire Daniel is evil story. The ending making us wondering if Charlotte had the doctor to put in Victoria's heart in Emily's body was dream or not. Was somewhat interesting to me. I still like Victoria as the main villain in the series. Especially during the later half of season 4.
