I always wonder about certain things that your computer seems to do out of nowhere for no real reason.
For example, in the past, on an old computer I had, the empty disk space would constantly change , completely randomly, every time you cleaned out the disk, even when you already did and there was nothing to remove. Anyone have an idea what might have caused that ?
My computer doesn't have a 'stache. I call it strange.
But seriously: once I had a problem with services.exe so my pc kept shutting down. I managed to fix it, but shortly after, it came back. Then, for a couple of months it played a game.
Then, it stopped, and never did that again. I didn't do anything unusual. It just… solved itself!
Another thing, my pc had a virus that only attacked my MP3 player. I couldn't listen to music on it. On the other hand, the computer itself had no problems, it just carried the virus.
Whenever I shut down my computer a certain wallpaper suddenly pops up shortly before the "Now shutting down" Windows screen appears.
I once had said wallpaper as a desktop background for roughly a minute, then deleted it altogether. By all means, it shouldn't be on my harddrive anymore. Yet it still appears every single time.
For a while I had a certain control over which wallpaper would appear (it would always be the last desktop wallpaper I used before my current one), but now I can't change it anymore.
Last night I noticed my computer would make a strange albeit very quiet humming noise whenever I went on this one particular site. Click a different tab - no humming.
Click back - instant humming.
Found it kinda weird.
Every day at 6:00 PM some window pops up on my computer screen. I don't even remember exactly what it says, but it says something like "run DLL." But yeah, it happens every day at 6:00 like clockwork. I have no idea why.
Every once in a while my computer shuts down and doesn't start back up again. No matter what. I then precede to throw a fit and curse its existence, and when I'm done I reinstall windows, losing all my previous data.
I have a Mac and it runs great and I never have any problems with viruses or spyware or anything.
It even sucks me off.
I love my Mac. It's so strange.
I also have a Mac, and can attest that eerie speaks truthfully.
Sometimes, I just stroke my Mac, and tell it that I love it.
My Mac is odd in that it works perfectly, and has never crashed, froze, or acted weird in any way.

Tsss perfect things are sooo boring. Have that boring little life with your macs that never has problems and never crashes and which you'll all forget about weeks, no seconds after you get rid of it.
I'll have me some adventures with my crashing pc, hahahahahaha.
Hmmmmm weird things huh, I remember when my pc activated a timer for shutdown when he felt like it. I had 60 seconds to save what I was doing. But I was smarter than my pc and got rid of the timer in a genius way, that I'm not gonna reveal to you. But yeah great adventures I had with my pc.
My S becomes a german ss (the weird letter that looks like a B but sounds like double ss or sz) when the alt button is on. Thus my alt button is always off and I cant do a at unless I look it on google and copy it. The reason is because I missed coffee on my computer.
The funny thing is that soon after the coffeemiss it started that a became a danish letter that has a circle on top of a. But out of nowhere it changed to the S problem.
My PC seems to slow down every night around 9 pm. I have Firefox and updated protection, but don't know why it does that.
I remember my old laptop getting worse as it aged. Certain keys would stop working, so I would have to download a program to make the "`" key work as the "e" key. The battery power would only work if I bended the wire in a certain way, and I would have to tape it up in a certain way. During it's final weeks/months, the screen would be completely black once I opened it up wide enough.
I built my rig this year. Only three things happened.
For god's sakes! I spend all this money. Put you together with love and care. Why do you not breathe! Why do you–- Ohwait. Forgot to jack in the second power supply plug. IT WORKS!!
Power supply died.. mainly because I bought it off Newegg rather than directly from the company. Had it replaced and had a perfectly working one since.
One of my intake fans had its balancer thing snapped off... for some reason. I little twine and surgery fixed this.
This computer is like having a wife... that I built... and know from the inside... no secrets... or strings attached....

Some of these computer stories are a bit creepy. Just a bit.
Sometimes when I lock my computer over night and turn it on the next morning, these weird images of pictures I saved appears.
Since I work a lot on Game Maker, sprites appear when I unlock it and it would disappear after I shake the mouse. OH GOD, a big size Charmander on the screen!
Blue screen? No, it's rainbow screen! Too bad I fixed it, was so cool.

What I found odd is that it apparently fits in there somewhere.
My computer does lots of strange things. He once had this phase where a program would freeze, and nothing I did could undo the freezing. Except for putting a cable in the USB slot. It didn't even have to be connected to something, as soon as I put the cable in there, it started working again.
The weirdest thing my computer does is function.
I really don't see how. This thing is the worst piece of crap on the planet.
Every time I open Photoshop, Paint Tool Sai will just close itself when I try to open the tab. Just like that. Bam.
These two programs don't seem to like each other.

Oh no, I have those problems too, but it's nothing like what happens which calls for me to reinstall windows. When it shuts down for overheating I can turn it on again some few minutes later, but every once in a while It shuts down and when I turn it on again it goes to a black screen with a blinking white line. No matter what I do and no matter how long I wait it does not get past that screen. That's when I have to rage and reinstall windows.
I've had 3 computers.
The first 2 would restart at random times, and no matter what I did, I could never get it to stop.
Once, it happend like 5 times, with only a few seconds in between.

Back in the magical days of Dail up - where you were considered a GOD amongst fellow friends if you could silence the Dail up noises made as the modem connected to the phone line and sync'ed with the ISP.
I discovered that by alternatively clicking the left and right mouse buttons would actually increase the download speed - which would change a 15min download into an 11 min download - a saving of 4 mins of my time O.O. No one would believe it was true until I showed to people including the ISP I had convinced my parents to go through who were amazed at the technique O.o.

I still do it to this day when I want D/L's to speed up - not sure if it still works - having speed that was unthinkable back in the days of Dial Up means it is pretty pointless - just hit download and load up a browser based game or Fallout New Vegas.
I used to think that by rapidly clicking the left mouse button, games would load faster.

To be honest, my computer never really does anything weird, it just works like how it was supposed to.
My Chrome browser keeps lagging and crashes when I google for a tig welder like this one. I'll need one this summer badly not only for hobby but for home work stuff as well, but it seems that my pc doesn't like it. Too bad, I don't like searching something on smartphone because I'm too clumsy with it's keyboard…
