The Rules
! 1. In order for a participant to be lynched, one must type "Vote: [Name of user to be Lynched]" or "Vote Lynch: [Name of user to be Lynched]". In BOLD.
! 2. Players may solicit a No Lynch by writing "Vote: No Lynch" (In BOLD), if the majority votes "No Lynch", the day shall end without a lynch.
! 3. Contestants may rescind or adjust their vote, but may only do so by first entering "Unvote" (In BOLD) followed by any further modifications.
! 4. Once a majority has been reached, the current count immediately validates a lynch, despite whether or not the moderator is present. Unvoting or changing of votes after the fact will neither prevent nor alter the outcome of the count, including payouts.
! 5. Personal Messaging, Electronic-mail, and any other means of communication outside of the game thread are prohibited. Discussion about the game (between active players) is restricted to the main thread. The members of the Mafia and the Lovers are an exception.
! 6. A direct copy or printscreen of your role is forbidden. You may freely paraphrase (or falsify) them.
! 7. Deceased players may not post in the main thread at any time.
! 8. During the night phase, players may not post in the main thread.
! Truthfully, the game requires a level of secrecy that can only be managed with full cooperation from all players. I trust that everyone will maintain the integrity of the game to the best of their ability. People who break the rules will be punished. I'd prefer it greatly if you didn't test me.
Game Specifics
! "Day" lasts for 48 hours or until a majority lynch is achieved. If no majority can be reached, the day will end without lynch.
"Night" lasts for 24 hours or until all night actions have been sent in.
! Player Setup:
Four Mafia - They win when they outnumber the other players or when nothing can prevent this.
Two Third-Party Lovers - They win if they are still alive at endgame.
Twelve Townies - They win when all members of the mafia are dead.
! The Mafia doesn't have access to a Night Kill on their own, nor do the lovers.
The Mafia has a quick-topic available to them. They may only speak at night.
The lovers have a quick-topic available to them. They may speak at any time.
! Abilities:
Powers are purchased in the form of items during the day.
Powers can only be purchased during the day.
Powers are purchased with Beli.
Power purchases are anonymous.
Power purchases are single-use.
Players may own more than one item at a time.
Only one item can be used per player, per night.
Items cannot be transferred.
! Finances:
Players can freely transfer money to each other.
All money transfers must be done during the day.
All money transfers are immediately added to a player's balance.
All money transfers are anonymous.
! Villagers start with 10,000 Beli each.
Mafia starts with 12,000 Beli each.
Each Lover starts with 15,000 Beli.
! A player's balance and inventory will be revealed upon death.
Dead players' Beli cannot be transferred, nor can they receive Beli.
! Voting Payout:
Players who end the day without being on a wagon receive 0 Beli at the end of the day.
Each vote on an unsuccessful wagon will earn 5,000 Beli for that player at the end of the day.
Each vote on a successful wagon will earn 10,000 Beli for that player at the end of the day.Role Templates
! Harvady Alumnus - Kung Fu Merry: You are a member of the village. Your only goal is to rid the island of the mafia before they get rid of all of you. You can use your vote to get other players lynched. You have a modest amount of funds available to you. Spend it wisely to ensure victory for the town. You win when all four mafia are dead.
! Starting Funds =10,000.
! Harvady Alumnus -Kung Fu Merry: You are half of a loving couple. Your partner is [playername - character]. Your only goal is to keep you and your lover alive to the end. You can use your vote to get other players lynched. You have a sizable amount of funds available to you. Spend it wisely to ensure your survival. Keep in mind that if you or your lover are killed/lynched, the other will lose their will to live. You win when you are still alive at endgame. Starting Funds =
! Harvady Alumnus -Kung Fu Merry: You are a member of the mafia. Your only goal is to become the majority by killing off everyone else. You can use your vote to get other players lynched. You have a decent amount of funds available to you. Spend it wisely to ensure victory for the mafia. You win when the number of mafia constitutes the majority, or when nothing can prevent it.
! Starting Funds =Game Starts on __________ ?. Hosted right here on Arlong Park. If the player count doesn't reach 18 by then, then the game will start one day after the roster is filled.
