You know, there's a perfectly good reason why this forum doesn't track post counts.
-
I've been deleting everything.
I tend to read every post on the forum outloud and in different voices.
You guys are making my cat's ears airplane back…
...you know that shit is bad right? Like REALLY BAD.
So shaddap and play in the round discussion thread!

You mean different voices specific to each user? That's hilarious.

I misread that as you having cat ears.

Yup. Voices. Cats. Typical signs of a psychopath.

It's an orange cat though!
soo…. wait stop posting here!
This is a thread for numbers!!!

We need to have a round with six contestants so I can make the bounty multipliers 4 8 15 16 23 and 42.

You know, when I was solving the formula and got the multipliers 4 and 8 I really thought you were using those numbers.
-
I go back to college tomorrow so yeah… I'll most likely be more inactive < / 3

Round 4 bounty formula solved
:D -
-
-
Alright then, tell us.
Ok
previous bounty + one of the opponent's bounty (hattori's for nami, hiruluk's for rayleigh) + (total number of voters at the previous match x votes received at the previous match x number of the matc at the previous round)x1000.
Nami
207,396,000 + 10,343,000 + 330x198x2x1000 = 348,419,000Rayleigh
166,000,000 + 139,061,000 + 330x198x2x1000 = 435,741,000Actually I'm not sure if the x2 comes form the number of the match, I need the rest of the bounties to confirm it, but so far it fits.
-
-
-
Not sure how right that is… What are your predictions for the next match using that formula?
-
Too much time on your hands eh? :ninja:
Not really, just got back from college and should be studying a little of physics but, alas, I always find better things to do.

Law: 531,682,400
Whitebeard: 607,891,100 -
We'll see shortly, but those sound off. Though you seem to be on the right track, it's just a matter of needing a second set of data to finalize the formula :P

Probably my error is here
@akagami7:Ok
previous bounty + one of the opponent's bounty (hattori's for nami, hiruluk's for rayleigh) + (total number of voters at the previous match x votes received at the previous match **x number of the match at the previous round)**x1000.
For nami and rayleigh I used x2 since their match against hattori and hiruluk was the second match of the third round.
So for Law and whitebeard I used x3.
maybe is x2 for all the bounties , then I would have
law 476,908,400
Whitebeard 553,117,100
Or maybe there is another pattern I haven't seen -
Like, School College, or uni college. Can't imagine you in the latter :P
Why are you such a genius
AMURICAAAAAAAAASchool college, since I be in England XD
we have Nursery, Primary, Secondary, College and then University.
Then Hell. -
Now I have it, previous bounty + one of the opponent's bounty (hattori's for nami, hiruluk's for rayleigh, robin's for law, usopp's for WB) + (votes for the opponent at the previosu match x votes received at the previous match x 5 x 1000.
Why X5? Dunno but it fits for all of them.
Before I got it wrong because 198x330x2=198x132x5 damned coincidences. -

Then Hell.I'm just one step away from hell now :(
And I should've known since I went to an English college as well… -

And the x5 thing is half-correct, but it actually comes from a different operation. This is just semantics here now, but the multiplier we used was not 1000. :)
-
There is a 69% chance that this match is going to make zachri go crazy
er. -

alphabetical order? or maybe you put the highest bounty with the lowest

x5000? or are you telling me there is one more variable?
-
x5000? or are you telling me there is one more variable?
Yeah, there's technically another variable, but it's actually more of a constant than a variable, but it's still part of the equation. And the multiplier IS a power of ten.

this is the only conclusion I reached which makes some sense
previous bounty + one of the opponent's bounty (hattori's for nami, hiruluk's for rayleigh, robin's for law, usopp's for WB) + (votes for the opponent at the previosu match x votes received at the previous match x (1/2) x 10000.
you divide it by two because those votes were for a two characters, instead of one.
At least it makes way more sense than other possibilities I thought of.
