Heh, it's morning in here…
And that's the end of the series anime-only people!
Shanks gonna enter and stop the War, that's how bad ass he is. I'm not spoiling, the title already didXD I already know what happens but I'm looking forward to see how the anime hanndles those parts.
@Cyan:

I somehow read that as "And that's the end of the anime, people!". I still loved at both.
Edit: My reading skills are off today.
The power of whooshy capes saves the world again!^^. Marines don't count, their capes are their uniforms.
I wonder how they will make a 4 minutes chapter in a 20 minutes episode. Buggy fillers or Hancock or Ivankov.
My best guess all of them.
Awaiting this episode - hoping for Epicness.
its gonna be a really slow one

Buggy shouldn't be coming back for a while though he's done his job. Besides we haven't seen Hancock for some reason, lets at least show her run away and getting off safley. Or else anime only watchers will be confused as heck what happened to her
huh, so half of it is gonna be flashbacks?
Fantastic Episode. Great choice of music, very solid art and animation. E more importantly, AWESOME pace!
10/10
Thanks fire-fist. I saw a flashback to episode 4 (Shanks/Luffy), a flashback to Buggy/Shanks, and this http://jan.2chan.net/dec/18/src/1299372467062.jpg. Giant Law hands.
And here's the preview. http://www.fujitv.co.jp/GPplayer/e/GPplayerJMe.html?anime/onepiece/110313onepiece&type=flv

Yeah that scene screams, WE CAN MAKE HIM BIGGER!, BETTER!, STRONGER!
Next week looks good, but not distinct enough for me to tell who's behind it.
I CANT WAIT!! The art look so good and Shanks is back.
I agree with some people above me, good episode loved nearly every thing about it.

It looks like Megumi Yamashita to me. And yeah, it looks good.

First thing that popped into my head when I saw that pic.
No one got a screenshot of "silly-grinning Moria?" (that will probably be used over and over in this year's tournament in place of the manga version)
Anyone got a screenie of the Red-Haired pirates?
I think this is the 490 preview
I sure hope they did not cut Mihawk's part (to save cost I guess) because I was pissed when they cut out his reaction to Luffy's arrival.

Are you talking about the part where Mihawk leaves Marineford because of Shanks' arrival? If yes, then it's there.
Anyone got Beka's Moriah face.
Already got posted on the first page.
Sorry. I will be more perceptive next time.
That was an okay episode I guess. Shanks looked a little weird though sometimes. A few too many still shots for my liking.
Aokiji and Kizaru were beastly. Their attacks looked awesome.
I fangasmed a bit when Yasopp and Van Auger raised their guns. That showdown was cool.
This was a great episode. It managed to not feel stretched out at all, which is really impressive
"Great animation"? It felt like almost the whole episode was a bunch of still shots to me.
The music choices were good, though (can't beat "To The Grand Line"), and Shanks looked awesome.
First and foremost…what the fuck?! Blackbeard throwing flirtatious dialogue at Shanks is not something that I, or anyone else for that matter, need to hear. Ever.
Good episode. 'bout my only complaints are that goofy shot of Law's hands and the 4:3 flashbacks, because Kawamura's debut episode reanimated material from Jaya, and it looked fantastic, so blah on that one.
I really liked the usage of Shanks's leitmotif during the montage at the end there. Beautiful.
I am not gay but I think Shanks looked hot in this episode.
That was probably one of the best episode of this arc for sure. The choice of music made Shanks ending the war more convincing than the manga.
I guess they cut out Beckman's lines instead and we had flashbacks.
Buggy's "It's been a while, huh?" made me laugh so uncontrollably hard.
Loved this episode:
I enjoyed the Shanks - Blackbeard face off.
Cant wait to see Teach kicking his ass in the future…
PS Those scars look good on you..
Beka's face
!
Akainu's sad face
!

Yeah, he's one of my favorite OP characters, but he might be one of the ugliest manga characters ever. I shudder thinking of some person's fan-fiction after Chapter 595, and now this….
Dobberman has a big mouth talking to Sengoku like that, maybe he will be an admiral POST TS.
Beka's face

Ok Buggy you made me laugh out loud when you imitated Shanks.
The best part about Beka's face is that Moria was standing on the top of a mountain of corpses, looking all happy and triumphant.
Shanks did look hot but yeah it was really weird that they added filler of BB saying so. Shanks is possibly the most badass-looking anime character ever. In the flashbacks he didn't look that great but Oda's evolved crisper sharp more manly modern new art style is awesome. But as someone said Shanks did look a bit odd a few times.
The flashbacks were kinda meh but understandable. Seeing the interior of the submarine in more depth was awesome. The ice and light attacks were awesome. When the war ended in the manga I didn't have a problem with it like some people did, but I dunno the anime made me kind of have a problem with it. I think it didn't have as good translations/dialogue as the manga did so they didn't get the point across as well with Shanks threatening to fight if they didnt stop. Or maybe I wasnt paying enough attention.
Buggy filler was alright I suppose. And I liked the clips at the end with the music to announce the end of the war that was done nicely. So a mostly good episode.

I know, but about a second later I made a sad Akainu face when I remembered that Flamingo is just gonna kick his corpse castle over.
I'm pretty sure that Blackbeard line was BB kind of taunting Shanks about the scars, seeing as how he directly mentions them and Blackbeard was the one who gave Shanks them in the first place.
As almost everyone says, this chapter has great music that really made the Red Hairs' entrance be awesome. I never knew that Shanks' frontliners are equal to that of Blackbeard's crew until now. XD
Once again, Toei changed the color schemes. I expected this guy to have pink hairs in reference to the previous colorspread. Oh well.
I enjoyed Bepo this chapter so I'll change my ava to him.. XD
And this…

LOL

I bet for Shimanuki…
Good episode, well Toei simply exhasuted all its fuel in those final chapters.
Now just relax Toei, and take a deep breath. It's time to rethink lot of stuffs, hopefully Toei will return to the yesteryear good path.
Bit confused here. Thought this was a terrible episode with the pacing problems that have plagued the arc. The entire first half basically reduces the drama of Shanks's entrance, both with the canonical Buggy material getting stretched out and the sense that the anime gets that Shanks and crew are just sitting there stoically and not doing anything for 10-15 minutes. Too many flashbacks, the cool parts were mainly still shots, and while music selection was better, "To the Grand Line" HAS to be used where the main theme kicks in during the dramatic part. I thought it was used terribly.
Guess I'm Sad Sack for this ep.
