I was so happy when i discovered this underrated album, because it also has that epic bgm when Luffy kicks Hody in the plaza and the strawhats make the entrance, so cool!
I'm guessing a similar album will be released soon since in the Punk Hazard arc there are new bgms

Thank you so much! We were all discussing when a new BGM album would be released around that exact time it was released, 'someone' was convinced that there were not enough tracks to warrant a new release. But here we go, what a surprise! Though, I'm surprised that We Go instrumental isn't full length. Hopefully it will be in the next release!

By the way there is also another song that was never released, it first appeared on episode 48 i think, when Luffy is searching for the plaza in Logue Town and enters in the " Gold Roger bar "
It's a gregorian chant or somenthing like that and it always appears when there is Gol D Roger-releated stuff, like here:

Have to check it later, when I'm home.TBH: the music is the only reason why I still watch the anime. Sometimes they pick the perfect songs for certain situation which make sum moments in OP even more memorable.
For example the moment where Luffy sees Ace on the scaffold (song name:"Chimney Mountain?") which was mentioned on the last page(s).

Only used in epic moments.Maybe if Luffy was robotic, or fighting someone mechanical sigh I agree that it's a great track that's pretty epic, but those mechanical noises are unfitting.
A cheap move from the music director I'm sure, making both film 7 and the series less unique.It fits the film where it was first heard really well, but it's overplayed through the series so much since CP9 that it makes any scene less epic and padded out. Just me, probably.

warning: long post ahead, cuz I like OP music 2 much
I know pretty much what the title is to any track, so I can help someone find the name for a track–-if they provide a link to AT LEAST the episode. Not really feeling like doing Google searches. Currently: only in the next week or so I'll be active in this thread… maybe longer, if I become more attached.
Basically I might become more attached, because I've been working on a new One Piece Mega Mix - i.e. reduced silence between the music, while creatively attempting a non-cluttered style. [Not the best description, but, I've gotten only 3 hours of sleep because of this project.]
And I will post it on here and YouTube in the coming days. I made a small one, some years ago. It's still incomplete; but the new one is completely revamped, including at least one track from each movie (except Arabasta + Chase). It's really good. Though it's a bit long, lol. Probably a full 80 minutes. It tries mostly to achieve side-by-side connections between the pieces rather than focusing as much effort on the full scope. (But there's still some of that.) So it might seem to last forever. Possibly a good thing.
ALL THAT SAID, I have NO idea what the music is that they've been using in recent episodes, for the gas dude (CC). Anyone know what it is? Pretty sure I've skimmed every single piece of music and do not remember that distinct sound.
As for the mechanical discussion above, well, I'm not even using that in the mix, since the mixing of sounds isn't complex enough, (and) in One Piece there is absolutely no shortage of full healthy sound. I agree its purpose is completely different from even the other mechanical sounding tracks, but sadly it's not as good as possible, not that I can be picky (as there is plenty else). However, still there are instances where I don't think I should add a piece, but then it thematically ends up as a requirement, to complete a puzzle piece. I have all the mechanical stuff toward the end in a complete mesh, anyway. (In the previous version, I had it in the middle. They definitely have the least prevalence, so fitting it toward the end is better – as part of the final transition, to the real, REAL ending musics.) Well hey, the last quarter of this is decent, actually. (But I have too much content already.)
