I just happened to feel like picking up AS Supes today, and my local shop happened to get a shit ton of the trades, early issues, and the new one. I guess I'll check it when I have more money.
Did just finish reading NA though. Glad Bendis realizes that IF is more than just a spare kung fu guy, my main complaint with the past two issues. Two good weeks in a row for Danny Rand. Now it's Thunderbolt time.
@Freeman-12:
So I recently found this site that has hosted the Civil War series.
IMO this shit is too fucking badass!
Deadpool is officially my fav. Marvel character!
Anyway right now I want to know, so I can purchase if possible, the following-
How many 'volumes' or issues of Deadpool are there? Does anyone know where to purchase them from?
Deadpool? He started out in New Mutants and had a few specials/mini-series here and there, but none were all that great. Then he got his own series in the mid 90s which was pretty cool, but went about five dozen issues before changing over to another character, so to speak.
He's not huge on cameos like Spidey or Wolverine, but he pops up every once and a while and for the past few years, has been sharing a title called Cable & Deadpool, which is good, as far as I've read. But you'd need some knowledge of X characters and a tolerance for techno babble.
Marvel's been pretty good with trades of that, so you could get one with 6 issues for like $15. I think they're up to five or six, I left off at four.
Same goes for Thor, I want to see this war to even messed up Hell.
Thor's been on and off since the 60s. He's currently dead (haha), but I think he'll get a new series come the end of the year. Comic shops usually have a sizable amount of back issues though. Not sure what you mean by the war in hell.
What are some good Dr. Doom comics if there are any?
Doom's pretty much just a general villian. He appears every few years in something like Spider-Man or Black Panther, but he mainly menaces FF and I doubt he's ever had an ongoing series. One Doom mini-series I do remember though, was the Super Villain Team Up with Namor. Not much of an actual team, but pretty cool.
