But besides Zelda, the game I am looking at is one that not many people are mentioning...Rayman. I mean with mini-games like this, how can you NOT want it?

I liked Ray Man for the N64, havent played one since. This one looks really fun. The Wii is all around win. I cant wait to play Madden with the Wiimote.

For those interested. FYE is now allowing game preorders for $5 each and also reserving extra controllers aswell. I wasn't given a price but I'm going there tommorrow after class and I'll let you guys know. The bundle I'm being told is for 2 games, a Wii(w/ Wiisports) and an extra controller (not sure if this means just wiimote, wiimote+nunchuck, or whatever) and I'm still stuck between DBZBT2 and Red Steel.
786110, your not gettin Zelda? Anyways, I would buy red steel over dbzbt2. I really didnt like the first one, the sound effects were late and everything was wrong with the game.
I am getting Zelda. It's just that the bundle is for two games, so the second game is a toss up between BT2 and Red Steel

Preordered Red Steel and Twilight Princess. Though it was weird to find out that the software is arriving the 15th and the hardware the 19th. No information on bundles as of yet.
After thinking some, I decided, I'm definetly getting Wii! In Finland the box is 269.90 €, the box inclodes: Wii, Wii Sports Game, The controller with Nunchuk part.

Damn it, I went to Toys R Us this morning to try to get a preorder. Since I don't have a car on campus (freshmen aren't allowed to have 'em) the only way I can get there is to take the bus. The Bus started running this morning at 10:00, and i got to the store around 10:30 (30 minutes after it opened). The goofy clerk tells me that they just handed out slips to people
waiting outside at 10 and they ran out. I was pretty miffed, since I pretty much wasted my morning on this futile trip out to this hellhole of toys and bacteria.
I guess I'll have to camp out at walmart on the night of the 18th

You know what would be really cool. If they made a remote for the wii to look like a katana. So when you are playing red steel or bleach or zelda,etc. it's like your actually fighting with a sword. That would be so fun to play with. (at least in my mind…)
Well I think more like a dagger shaped would be more appropriate. No one's gonna want to swing an 8 ft. long sword over and over again. As for the Wii enhanced in Japan thing, maybe we shouldn't import some 360 games there and show them how we dont like them. PAYBACK!

Heh well I preordered mine from Woolworths for £144 (20% Staff Discount 
), Twilight princess for £32, and Wii Play for £28 AND Woolies don't require a deposit :happy:. Grand total of £204 for Console and 2 (3 if you include Wii Sports) games.
I am going to my Gamestop on the 20 and get my Wii . The manger told the people who reserved their that they have 24 hours to pay it off or they lose it .

Yeah, no one wants to sit and wait… And in here north (Tornio/Kemi, thank god I dont like in Rovaniemi or anything.... It be even MORE colder there...) it must be about -30 °C already by then... So it sucks TWICE as much... Thank god(Oda?) for pre-ordering... I got myself almost to the top of the line btw, theyu should get 15 of Wii's and I was about 5th who pre-oedered. Just need to gether up the dam money… I hope I gratuate by then... Thats my main target of Wii money…
I know i'm guarenteed a Nintendo Wii when it comes to UK as our Woolworths only just started taking Preorders for it a week ago friday for the Dec 8th release. They don't ask for a deposit at all, plus since I work there I found out that when I preordered it on the first day of availability so far up until now we've only sold 20% overall of the consoles we'll be receiving.
The other decent thing about working in Woolworths is the discount I get (20% on everyday stuff, 10% on DVD's, Music, Games, TV's, DVD Players, PC's etc.) but every once in a while we get a weekend with an extra 10% added to everything over our normal discount! it was just scuh a coincidence that we got one of those weekends on the first day of availability for Preorders. So I got my Wii and 2 games I got with it (Twilight Princess and Wii Play) with 20% overall, so I got the console and games for £205 instead of £255.

Over here when you pay a deposit for a preorder console you are NOT paying a small portion of the price, you are paying IN ADDITION TO the original cost. This is because you are paying for the privelege of Preordering not for buying the console itself.
My local toys r us sold 40 more wii preorders today, and I finally got one! 
I would've gotten one on the gamestop date, but I kinda slept in. >.>
