@eerie:
Dryish what the hell are you talking about. I was directing that towards monkey. hence, saying his name in my post and not yours.
Oh, I do apologize. I didn't see his post and I assumed you were at odds with me. My post was a bit rough, you see. Pardon me and my bad self-esteem.
And Sea, you are right to some extent. Without the rest of the picture, we could assume that he isn't a peasant, but rather a hero, from his expression. However, his expression is very discreet - something that is very common in paintings of that era - and it could be a bit hard to tell his high rank in society, if we didn't see him pictured the way we currently do; I myself would say he's thinking or that he is drowsy, rather than sublime and heroic.
My point was that, at least in my opinion, the expressions of the people you drew were quite ordinary. The original JoJo-style has never managed to express feelings through expressions too well, at least on manga standards (compared to One Piece, for example). Otherwise, they are magnificient pictures.
@Sea:
According to your definition, Dryish, this girl is certainly a idealistic heroin. I however I don't like the expression much. It make her look pettier.

And yes, I found her more heroic-looking than any of the trio you draw. Her hair swaying with the wind, her stance as she holds her sword and the keen expression she has on her face make her look like she could be a protagonist of a manga series. My opinion on the trio could change drastically, if you drew bodies and thus certain attitudes for them. The Dude looks much more convincing behind his office desk in your AP comic, as the atmosphere there is what it is.
