i doubt it will happen , but mayeb there will be a loser match just to see who can get the most votes

....god I hope Smoker goes against Whitebeard or Bon-Chan. Knock him out of this already. And, whoever he doesn't get, Mihawk should take on the other one. That, or Mihawk can get Shanks and Usopp can get Bon-Chan. Garp can tussle with Rayleigh, and there you have it!

Either way, as long as we don't see Bon/WB or Rayleigh/Shanks I'll be happy.

I've got some problems with the competitors left. My ranking goes according to this:

I'm going to have a tad hard time, if some of the GRS trio go against each other. I feel every one of them deserve a place to the semis. There's something I'm afraid of as well. I'm afraid that all the "good characters" go against eachother and let Usopp or Mihawk march into the very final of this tournament, giving us a crappy final match. Usopp'd be raped, if he was destined to go against WB for example.

Going to be backing Usopp and Bon Chan, seeing as all my other favourites have fallen. Unless they're up against one another, in which case I'll flip a coin.

Maybe I'll back Garp too. Whitebeard doesn't need my vote.

As much as I suported Mihawk against Zoro , his winning against Kuma makes me sort of sad .

Because he is kinda bland to me so far .

This. This indeed. The events of 9/11 aren't of that importance. People died. So what?

There have been other terrorist actions all over the world, in which more people, than in the WTC tragedy, have died and I don't see that many people sad. The US media and politicians made the issue as big as it is today mainly because it happened in US, not in Pakistan or Iraq.. That said, there's no real need to reminisce that. It's history. Let's concentrate in the future instead.

i never said we dont have respect for the people who died there , but the media doesnt give it that much attention anymore+the fact that we should concentrate on the problems now , there still die a lot off people in other countrys and they dont get that much attention and that makes me sick.

I never said that either. I just commented how it is unnecessary to let it come to the way of other events. It was a perfectly ordinary terrorist attack and it happened many years ago. Why should people do nothing every 11th of semptember just because something like that happened in the past? It's not making things any better..

well it wasnt ordinary , if the 4th plane did crash on the white house , it would have been the greatest terrorist attack ever.and ok it gets much attetion because it happend in america ,but it deserves it , its just that the other terrorist attacks or now the problems in pakistan dont get much attention.why?is it politics ? is it because those countrys arent important enough?tats what makes me sick.

yupp Robin did well, we shouldn't be bitter or revenge-vote, just vote for the character you like the most.
as much as i like Shanks, Bon and WB are the two people whom i think should make it to the finals. they both deserve it way too much.

So, we are already at the quarter finals, and only one Straw Hat is left. I say, we have a good chance of a record Non-Straw Hat Champion.

Even though it's Usopp, quite a fan favorite, his time is long gone. Usopp Wars are just a page of the history past.

And wow, figuring this formula out turns out to be quite a challenge. What makes it harder, I don't get half of the hints because of the english terminolgy. Is non variable just a constant?

Hmm so WB and Mr.2 are the clear favourites then.
I got a feeling about Garp being a dark horse to get to the final though. He has hammered all his opponents and he faced more popular characters then WB has. I think he could beat him should they meet.
Although I can't see anyone left beating MR.2 at the moment.

i cannot for the life of me decide between WB and Bon. i'll think of Bon's sacrifices and start to put him first, but then i'll think of WB dying without a scratch on his back, and turning Marineford literally upside down. then i'll think of Bon fighting wolves. and so on.

besides those two, i pretty much agree with you, mette. i'd put Mihawk last but i think Smoker's overrated and Mihawk's skills are beyond amazing.

Usopp's my all time favorite in the entire series (and has been so since long before Sogeking in mid-2005, to all you bandwagoners!), but Robin's my third favorite straw hat, so I wouldn't have been too upset if she won. I actually counted on it.
And hell, I like pretty much everyone still in the tournament, and I'm very much content with him having got this far, so I shan't sob even if he gets beat by 80% or so.
