Ugh, so clearly the start date is fast approaching, but I'm not even close to the requisite number of players.

And to be honest, I severely underestimated how busy I'll be this semester.

I hate doing this to you all, but better before than during, I suppose, am I right? >_<

Season 3 of Big Brother: Rivals will be postponed until late summer after Survivor 5. Specific dates to come later. Sorry guys, it's just, BB IS a timesink and school is an even bigger one.

If it makes you feel any better though, BB3's infrastructure is totally complete. But yeah, I like having these happen one a year, anyway. And summer just seems to work best for most.

Your posts always have such urgency~

1. Threads can't be made until you've been here for a while, just keep being active and eventually you will be able to start a thread. Though I'd suggest searching to see if a similar thread already exists before doing so.

2. Gifs are posted the same way images are.

For future reference, I'd like to point you in the direction of posting in the help section or contacting any of the mods, as this thread is not for the purpose of assisting newcomers. Best of luck to you Buggy Clown, stay flashy.

So here's the deal. My life got surprisingly hectic and busy over the past few months to the point where I'm not sure if I'll be able to adequately run a game of survivor. That being said I made a commitment and I don't like going back on such things, so I will definitely still do my best to throw something together so that we may continue to have our annual summer enjoyment of challenges and betrayals and such. Of course at this point should any courageous soul be willing to take over and run the best game over I would have no issue whatsoever passing that torch. Until then, I need to stop mulling and buy a new laptop so that I can finish preparations. I can say with assurance I won't be able to start the game til early July. Sorry for making a wreck of things guys.

This ~~January~~ July, Big Brother will be bigger, badder, and betrayaler than ever. Sixteen house guests will enter. Seventy days will pass. And right from day one…

LINES WILL BE DRAWN IN THE SAND

All sixteen HouseGuests will be paired off with a Rival HouseGuest. These Rivals will not be made public by production, but HouseGuests can choose to make their Rivalries public at their own discretion. Beat your Rival and you'll gain a special power. Make sure your Rival doesn't get HoH, or you'll be automatically on the block with no hope of safety. Keep your Rival around for too long, and you'll both face immediate eviction. But your greatest enemy can become your best friend if you play your cards right. How will you handle your Rival?

Exciting new features coming to BB3: All alone in a Gameplay Area? You don't have to be! Lonely HouseGuests can invite others to solitary rooms at their own discretion. It's hard being a nominee in the Big Brother house. Nominees will gain an increase in visitable rooms and ways to make their case to stay! New themed rooms will make the Big Brother experience ~~a total ripoff of BB2~~ more betterer!

And… for the first time ever, there will be ~~TOTAL~~ SOME ANONYMITY.

Sadly, I won't able to sign up for this one. I will move to America in July, and I won't bring my computer with me, and with all the things happening I just won't find time to settle down and play the game. I'm sure it will be tons of fun for all involved though!

You won't. Big Brother is much more a game of individual play than Survivor, so you won't have a tribe to worry about. Also most everything is an individual game, so it's very unlikely you'll be in a situation to ruin things.
