Also, is it common for new series to get a CP on their second week? I don't remember seeing that for the first batch (Judos, Hi-Fi, Sporting Salt).

The new series always gets color page for their first 2 chapters. Judos, Hi-Fi, and Sporting Salt also had CP in their second week, too.

For what I heard the volume 1 will only get the reprint in 20th of November, this Oricon list is from 10th to 16th so the only book left were the 2% from the first print! Around 1500 copies! Obviously wouldn't appear in this list. Wait for next week to see how it does.

Did you even see its first week sale?

Plus, Jump only axe series with low ranking, the tank sale doesn't really matter unless it is serializing for more than 10 years and selling more than 400k per volume (like Bleach).

new copies only arrived from printers this morning, post says it will still take a few more days for it to be shipped out to all resellers.

Also it ranked at 56 for last weeks sales on oricon, should have done between 11-14k for the week.

Bokuhero will most likely stay a long time with us. ^^
Now WT is another story as it is always an up and down in the rankings and its sales just WON'T get over 200k before leaing Oricon… still hoping for Volume 9 to get that achivement though my hopes aren't that big.

Here is my thought about Takujou no Ageha. There is pretty much nothing to say about it since it is just a re-drawn version one shot, so there really isn't nothing completely new in the first chapter. BUT, the playing scene is actually drawn much better than one shot, so I enjoyed it more than the pilot version.

Yes and no. Like Mangahelpers has a lot of good people in, and there's a good handful who are reasonable, but a lot have left over time, especially where the jump thread is involved, because it was just the same shite every day. Mindless speculating, people giving vague, absolute statements that certain series must succeed or fail because they like or dislike them, a mod whose only judgement of value in a series being whether they can make yaoi bait out of it (not that there's anything wrong with that BUT). It's all just a bit… dissatisfying if you're there for too long.

But then I'm back there for a bit at the moment, so clearly I'm an idiot (originally I left after I got banned for calling pirates arseholes, so what can ya do, I guess)

Well, of course it's all speculation, the rise and fall of the series, the newbies that we like and dont like, how series and authors can build worlds and emotions, and how Gintama's last week even triumphed One Piece in a emotional moment.

You have to belive in your predictions, but you don't have to be an asshole about it, unless people are saying flatout impossible things like "Boring series liek One Piece and Kochikame should end" or "I see tons of future in Hi-Fi cluster, they introduced the final vilian already! I think that is a good sign!" and keep defending that position after evidence to the contrary.

I think Sporting Salt and Hi-fi Cluster are pretty much finished when the next axe discussion comes up. Judos might live for a little longer but Idunno, guess it depends on how the new series will far how far it will get. Not surewhat to think of Ping Pong and E-robot, have read the first one but not the second one.^^

Wt sure had a lot of covers though that makes sense given it had an anime annoucenment and all that stuff this year. SnK will surely get 3 or 4 covers next year as well when its anime comes up, can't wait for that one to hit the internet! :D

i quit because one moderator was an asshole abused his power and the other mods back him up which made it a very unpleasant forum. ask Kaizou10 or Razh who were among his victims
