! Well, really, did you expect anything out of Kain? The guy's never really been treated as any sort of threat, given that his "lost magic" is much more limited than the other members of the group (since he isn't all that stealthy or quick, he basically has to get his opponent's permission in order to use it on them), and he's a moron besides that.

To be clearer: in other words, WSM16 had the last Fairy Tail we read, but it didn't come out until Weds, the 16th in Japan (or a day or so after, as the article states). WSM17 will have the next Fairy Tail, but it won't come out until the 23rd in Japan. WSM18 will have the Fairy Tail after that, but it won't come out until the 30th there. Every time we see scans pop up on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday for Fairy Tail, Ippo, or Negima, we're seeing them half a week before they hit the stands in Japan.Most people don't know that. I don't know how many other manga scans it's true for, but it's at least true for Jump (which releases on Mondays) and WSM (which releases on Wednesdays), which is why there was that big shitfest over Mangastream followers tweeting Kubo congratulations over reaching his 400th chapter or whatever it was almost a full week before that issue went to press in Japan.

Shounen Magazine 16 is the one we got two weeks ago. The last Fairy Tail we read was in Shounen Mag 16.
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but generally whenever we get Weekly Shounen Jump or Weekly Shounen Magazine releases, we're receiving it EARLIER than it goes to press in Japan, so we're ahead by a week. There was a delay on WSM 16, but I haven't seen anything to suggest one for this week, too.
Last week was Shounen Magazine 17. This is the Shounen Mag we'll be looking at this week. Unless that was delayed too, we should be getting Fairy Tail soon.

I still find the threat to be a WTF on the 1-10 villainy scale, and Gray's superdickery still has yet to be explained, but the episode did have some spotlight on Elfman and Macao, even if they got their asses kicked, so that was kinda neat.

Judging from the preview for next week's episode, we will get the real truth as to why Gray jumped ship which could very well make or break this filler arc.
However, I just found it hilarious that Gray got FALCON PUNCHED by Elfman!

I just remembered I needed to watch FT…..i'm going to watch it.
I am really liking this filler arc...I wonder if they'll find a way to incorporate Gildartz through means of filler. Like have him mentioned during a filler episode that way when it comes back to cannon his appearance won't feel awkward an out of the blue.

Normally I'd assume this was your first anime ever but since that can't be it I'm simply stunned. Ok sometimes when you're really bored you will watching anything, but I didnt think there are people that really like this stuff.

Lucia was the most pathetic main villain ever. He assembled a great army, only to destroy it himself for no aparent reason.

It's…strange. This woman named Daphne (whose personality switches between overly bubbly and eccentric to ''oh ho, I'm so evil'' at the drop of a hat) captures Natsu to use him as the power core for a dragon golem and is now trying to destroy the city, and Gray's helping her for some as-of-yet unexplained reason. And she apparently cursed a town that Natsu encountered when he was a kid with invisibility.

Well this is it. I'm officially done with Fairy Tail. I didn't mind Kain being defeated, but everything else was just embarrassing. To think this arc was the last chance I was going to give this manga. Maybe I'll check it out during the finale(just to see what happens), but until then I'm probably going to have to look for replacement to a fun weekly series that doesn't force me to think too much.

Well, a joke fight isn't all that surprising after last week, but I do echo Natsu's sentiment at feeling cheated out of a 2 vs. 2 battle.
Not that it really matters anyway, but I guess Natsu's flire works just like a Rapidash's.

I understand where you guys are coming from, but I loved this chapter.
This style is either hit or miss with his audience. Those who wanted serious fights for each member are sure to be disappointed. People like me who appreciate a good gag fight like it.
Either way, enough is enough now. I loved that little comedy routine, but it's time for Hiro to pick back up the seriousness this arc started with as we approach some of the more important fights of this arc.
