Wow never knew France was the top manga seller outside of Japan.
Always thought it was Brazil or US. Why France in particular?
Because manga were popular there long before the US. And European people, and more particular french, like japanese culture and everything that come from there not only manga.
I talked to a middle aged French lady before. She had more knowledge about manga than an American boy.
Wow just wow. That's pretty cool, I don't know why I couldn't see the French into Japanese culture like that.
Probably should stop being stereotypical.
FRENCH IS A DYING LANGUAGE! clear's throat
I find this image of dire importance to the entertainment value of what is regarded as a crappy SBS. Too bad some parts are too blurry.

Ah, translating stuff late at night is bad for eyes~! Oda-sensei! Why is your writing so sloppy sometimes!?!
Heh, I love how Oda's head has "world peace". As expected, Luffy thinks mostly about meat, Nami about money, and Franky about his hentai-ness. Interestingly, Chopper's is the most varied. Does that make him the smartest?
I'll post more later. I'm getting tired.

Dragonball/Z was the most sold manga series around here, at its popularity peak it was selling about 130,000 copies per each 100 pages-volume.
These days the winner is most likely Naruto - the publisher does not reveal official numbers that i know of, but they're certainly more modest.

I didn't read the dragonball manga, I was part of the generation that group up with the anime.
Although I know it's good, everyone always compliments it.
You was saying it sold the most in Brazil or France?

Just in case people want to know, I'll leave this here.
