Hahaha, touche! Good one mate. Gen 6 will be CitrusOrange and YellowBanana, it just makes the most sense after going back to colors and going through all the minerals to move onto fruit next.
Next is clearly Pokemon Pink Elephant and Pokemon Kumquat Kangaroo.
I'm telling you guys…
Pokemon Chartruse and Mauve versions.
i want a team rocket pokemon game right now
i want a team rocket pokemon game right now
Hell yeah, when you get into a trainer battle and you throw a Poké BallMaster Ball at the trainer's Pokémon, there is NO interruptions.
i want a team rocket pokemon game right now
As long as they have a music mini-game to sing the Team Rocket song every time you steal a Pokemon from some punk ass trainer.
Grand Theft Pokémon

As long as it features Wobbuffet and demonstrates Giovanni's pure manliness by showing him ride Arceus into space.

Or the Meowth's Party thing. That'd be cool too.
I started extremely late on the Pokémon love (first game came when I was like 15 and the first game I ever PLAYED was for the DS when I was 25-26, yeah I know >.>).
My question is: how come Nintendo hasn't decided to make a Wii Pokémon RPG using the same system from the Gameboy Games but with the aesthetics of say Super Smash Bros. Wii (since the Pokémon there look pretty amazing).
Anyone got an insight on this? Cuz I'd buy that game in a heartbeat.
Well, XD and Colosseum were like that, only no wild Pokes (XD did some things to try and fix this).
While on that, Miror B. has the greatest battle theme ever.

Almost 29 sir…
I'm an actual Atari gamer (the one with the WOODEN cabinet).

See I played Coliseum and I didn't get the Gameboy exploring vibe towns and fucking Gym Masters up vibe…
Or maybe I'm thinking of another game...
Pokémon Snap was cute... just that.
Cute.

I think you played Stadium. The closest thing Colosseum/XD has to Gym Leaders are the Cipher Admins (Yes, the bad guys).
And Pokemon Snap was the bomb.
As a Wii user (yes I actually play my system) I want a goddamn proper next gen Pokémon RPG. Gief it to me NAU Nintendo!

Nigga, wait until the main handheld Pokémon series is done.
I have a weird vibe that Black and White might be the last one… and we'll get tons of shitty spin-offs.
I'm sure Nintendo/Game Freak thought of that once for the Wii… or Wii 2... or Wii 12...

Me too. I was thinking that Black and White were names that they thought up when they first brought out Red and Blue/Green, and decided to reserve Black and White as titles for the last games.

Thing is I never gave the series a proper chance until the DS versions because I was WAITING for a Console version. I've practically waited 10 years…
Time's up in my honest opinion.

Ocarina Remake swoon
But… who the heck is that?
Brooke and Inazuma's kid? O_o
Ok… i know Umbreon is a dark Eevee evolution..
looks like eevee ,if luckily in the game, should maybe have a light Evolution..(probably not , but it seems after certain games..they kept adding evolutions for certain new types)
i grew up with pokemon,,.. hearing this makes me want to skip the new DS game and get this instead next year... if the process goes right.
One other thing.. will there be a new Wii ver of Stadium soon?
You shouldn't skip HeartGold/SoulSilver, if you played Pokémon back in the day.
The somewhat obvious evolution Eevee is getting is a "Dragon-type".
Eevee evolves into Drageon at Level 50?
But… who the heck is that?
Brooke and Inazuma's kid? O_o
That's Miror B. from XD. He's the second greatest bad guy in Pokemon after Giovanni, and his theme is the funky disco groove every good game needs.
He also commands a Ludicolo troupe and a badass Dragonite.

I always thought Espeon was eevee's light evolution. Y'know, light and dark, both released at the same time.
Everyone in here has been avoiding the BIG question… What tree will the professor be named after?

Its called "Growlithe".
Really. There's already a fire dog, AND legendary lion fire dog in Entai. And Houndour, which is a dark fire dog. We don't need any more fire dogs. (And also Poochyena, which is a dark dog, and two other legendaries…) I love the dog style critters, but, we've got enough fire sorts already.
Plus, Growlithe's evolved form has near legendary stats, one of the highest stat totals of all the breedable critters.
I much prefer these fake starters.
Psychic, dark and fighting, I think they were supposed to be.
Here's a concept, no starter Pokemon! I think I would die in my chair if I didn't have a starter handed to me in the first ten minutes of the game. That would truly evolve the series (no pun intended).
I just hope that we get some new and interesting type combos for the starters. I'm rooting for a Grass/Steel, Fire/Psychic, and Water/Ghost (seeing as the only original alternative is water/fire, which wouldn't work to well).

Then how would you catch the first critter? Safari zone style? just throw a ball and hope? Setlle with your first critter being a rattata?
Nothing wrong with the starters. The problem is the starting location is always the same, and it gives you the same types, every game.
I've been saying this for years, and what would make it awesome?
Its basically the transition they'd have to make if/when they ever make it into a proper full blown MMOG.
I hope they don't have a rock gym as the first gym again. It's kind of annoying. Especially, If your starter is a fire type.
Oh. And to whoever asked why they haven't done a beefed up console version yet? Its because on the portable, with the cheaper graphics, they cost less to produce, they're geared towards travel time playing, and mostly, they sell gillions of copies, and the system. Plus, since they basically release the same game, but tweaked uvery year, theyve gradualyl, through a decade of fine tuning, gotten it damn near perfect in terms of combat and gameplay, and "random other stuff to do." (Dynasty Warriorros is a similar case where they've totally perfected it after a dozen games.)
Hell, they only figure out THIS game to just let "running" be the default option, and to allow you to equip more than one item to your Y button.
Making a "better" version on the home systems would hurt the golden goose. They'd have to upgrade the the portable to as close as possible to match, spends years and years more development time, There's just… no need to. It works great as is, and is pretty much a perfectly balanced game, and a system seller as is. And it allows them to sell console version that are nothing more than 3-D arenas, as an entire seperate game. It doesn't NEED to be fancier. (Though Pokemon in a lush 3-D world, Dragon Quest 8 style, would be godly.)
Games like Persona have tons of critters with 8 move slots and they don't get over powered at all. Of course, those move slots also include things like "fire strengthen" "immunity to this" "weak version of move that attacks all" and "strong version of move that attacks one"… and having 6 slots might completely break the way some things are currently setup and take away a lot of the strategy, but it seems to me like it would just open the doors for even more crazy variety and strategy, and level the playing field a little more.
Robby… you've been hacking my Game Design docs?
Cuz I wrote a lot of that when I was fucking around with my Pokemon MMO concept.

Get out of my mind!

They release the same game enough times, the things that they could do to make it better, if the wanted to mix it up a little more, become obvious.
These are all things I've been saying since at least the third gen, when it became obvious the fire/water/grass start combo, 8 gyms, and Elite 4+1 were just always going to be the standard.
These sorts of things MUST be obvious, and probably NOT that hard to do. They just don't, because they know any game could be someones first. And they also assume the older audience outgrows it and doesn't play it 4 generations straight.
@robbybedfart:
And they also assume the older audience outgrows it and doesn't play it 4 generations straight.
You'd think Nintendo realizes that it's audience is impossible to get rid of.
Multiple trading would be neat.

yeah..and water is only good until the 2nd gym when its all grass type.
and grass isnt good until one of the higher gyms,
lets see if they come up with something bigger than the Poketech in this generation
I wanna play as a black guy. Cmon Nintendo, didn't you learn after DQ 9.

Don't get me wrong, I like Growlithe, but growlithe's a fire dog, the fake one is a fire lion cub.
Jus sayin. :ninja:
Also, this new game should have more Aipom.
If it's a Lion, then I guess it's different from a Growlithe.
But, it's on four legs… and it's fire.
NEXT!
@robbybedfart:
Robby's list of point
Agreed on all except the wild pokemon thing would need to be worked with so that you can train new pokemon without having to use exp. share or switch out in the beginning of the fight. I definitely agree that we need the diversity of pokemon right off the bat, though, since I hate always having my starter, the generic bird and the generic rat in my team throughout the game because they're who I caught and leveled up in the beginning.
The move slots thing would also need some work, though I do like the idea of different amounts of move slots for different pokemon, since it changes up the dynamic and gives a better chance for the weaker pokemon that lack evolutions.
Also, I think it would be nice if they eliminated the trade condition for that good portion of evolutions that requires it. I understand that it sold more games the first time around, but now, with wifi and a built-in audience, it feels like an unnecessary hurdle for pokemon collection.
It depresses me that while the Gameboy Versions ARE amazing… I'll never get a proper next gen version with all the bells and whistles cuz it all boils down to "Lol Lazyness".
:( Nintendo sometimes you make me sad (but when you throw shit like Mario Bros Wii and Mario Galaxy I don't care how LAZY you want to be).
Speaking of the 3D pokemon, I always thought Stadium 2 has the best graphical direction. I mean, the attacks looked really epic(with awesome sound effects). When it came to GC, most of the epic stuff felt bland with ugly particle effects. Even the ones on the Wii look bad.
I'm fine with the current game formula is now.
Fuck with it too much incorrectly and you end up with…
Sonic.
This is all I want.
How would I go about this 5th Gen?
-Stick with 8 Gym Battles like 1st, 3rd, and 4th Gen. Chances are if they do 16 again they'll skim on the 8 from a previous region and it'll have little going on and can be cleared quick.
-Enhanced Story. They can keep the formula, but there needs to be some more depth to the story.
-Fleshed out characters. What I mean is, like meeting all the Gym Leaders, them having some definite personalities and maybe even a side-quests involving each of them before the Gym Battle or at least right after it.
-The Syndicate. The Grunts can keep uniforms shared between them, but the Admins needs to have some more creative designs. Also deeper/better story with the Syndicate. That's probably the reason why I liked Colosseum so much. The Admins had some creative designs. (Their leader should be the female this time for the gender twist)
-Another Double Battle Gym (Can't say Elite Four as that would put 5 people in the Elite Four)
-Battle Frontier with some original facilities aside from the Battle Tower. Battle Tower is a Staple.
-Meeting all of the Elite Four along the way and getting to know each of them. Would make it better if this happened with Gym Leaders and other important character so that it would be hard to tell who is at the End of the game
-Rival personality mixing Blue and Silver, the two best rivals.
-No trying to stick evolutions/baby forms on everything from previous generations. Just on Pokemon that are completely crap (like Farfetch'd)
-Fleshed out characters. What I mean is, like meeting all the Gym Leaders, them having some definite personalities and maybe even a side-quests involving each of them before the Gym Battle or at least right after it.
Yeah, I'd like that too.
I lol'd at "Maximum Mask" Wake and Pearl in Platinum.
I'm sure they'll make "typical male and female grunts", "three admins" and "leader".
I totally dig the "Female Leader".
We witnessed a first female Champion, Shirona. (Crystal, FR/LG, and HG/SS doesn't count)
Why not an evil, maybe hot or attractive Leader that's a female?
-Another Double Battle Gym (Can't say Elite Four as that would put 5 people in the Elite Four)
I'm totally with that.
Fu and Lan seriously mindfucked me.
I can't remember their English names…
With their obvious "made for them" Pokémons, Solrock and Lunatone.
-Rival personality mixing Blue and Silver, the two best rivals.
Nah, I don't want to see that.
They should be original.
Green and Silver are the most badass rivals though.
-No trying to stick evolutions/baby forms on everything from previous generations.
Just on Pokemon that are completely crap (like Farfetch'd)
Yeah, I don't want to see a shitload of babies man.
I'm sure when they create one Pokémon, it require some time and effort to create an evolution, but babies? I'm sure it takes them two minutes.
It's also a waste of PokéDex numbers. (I have nothing against babies, but still.)
No, Farfetch'd is badass just like the way he is.
The same goes for Larpas.
