What i don't really get is that whole "my magma burns ur fire" sh1t (assuming the translation posted in the OP is correct). i mean….. WHAT!?!? you can't fuc*ing burn fire: fire burns- that's all it does!!! more heat would only make fire stronger. and even if for some reason magma wins against fire, how does that cancel out the intangibility of a logia and do damage to ace? is it haki-magma? O_o

Other than that:
-yeah ace really hasn't done much to live up to his reputation- i really hope he doesn't just die right now. then he would really just be remembered as "the whiny bitch that the WB pirates wasted their lifes for"
-someone said that akainu might just be promoted to take sengoku's place. i think that would be really fitting, comparing the recent achievements of the two, and it would probably make the navy a lot more aggressive and ruthless than they are now, thus upping the difficulty for the NW

i guess i'll put any other comments on the chapter on hold until the scanlation is out

This is probably just a case of Oda science being… fake. He's probably just saying that Akainu's magma is hotter than Ace's fire (throw actual science out the window since we know it can go either way). Also, since it has substance, it makes sense that it would win in a clash between the two.
