Because I'm sure Magellan has relayed the info to the Marine Brass by now. He attacked and seriously injured several prison guards at Impel Down, and Incapacitated the Vice Warden (Hannybal), as well as scuffled with Magellan. Not to mention he took one of their most dangerous Ex-employees on board his crew. There's Den Den Mushi all over the prison, I'm sure his betrayal is old news by now.

Blackbeard may just be waiting for his chance. What's gonna happen if the marines and Whitebeard's army manage to wipe each other out?

I see two possible things Blackbeard may be planning: a) chance to take over the marines and Whitebeard in one fell swoop ( he went to Impel Down to recruit possible allies or whatever. ), or b) something else in Impel Down ( followers, a secret weapon thing… who knows. ) Don't think plan a is likely though. : /

Why would BB take over the Marines, at the end of the day he is still a pirate. I think its been established that WBs men and allies have proven that they themselves are more then loyal to WB (even the betrayal has merely strengthened WB's place).

It isn't really Blackbeard taking over the marines. It's more like without the presence of the marines to regulate things, there'll be one less obstacle for Blackbeard. 'course, I don't mean that the marines will be completely wiped out, but they'll be pretty weakened for a while.

You know people have been saying that Blackbeard is going to show up to save the War for the marines and finally kill Whitebeard but considering the state Whitebeard is in, I really don't think Blackbeard is necessary to drive the final nail in the coffin:/

Well, thats a little bit difficult since Shiryiuu destroyed any comunications with the outside of the prison. No one knows what Blackbeard is doing in Impel Down right now except him, their crew, and ID perssonal. But after he escape the place, it would be his word against Magellan´s.

they still could use soem of the den-den mushis from the battleships near ID…they just set sail so that the prisoners couldn`t take one..now they should have come back .

To quote Zoro in the Alabasta Arc: "That's a groundless statement." Are you just a Croc-otaku or something? This battle is so EVERYWHERE that I don't think Crocodile has room to care about finishing off whitebeard, even HALF as much as any single marine admiral does.

What do you mean by now? I thought Shiryuu destroyed the communications room.

Even it isn't I really doubt Magellan's message would reach anyone important enough for the marines to immediately treat BB as an enemy.

Also marines would probably still overlook him attacking marines/ID guards if it ended up helping them in the end. I mean Doflamingo is allowed to make a high ranking choke himself during meetings.

I think the Shabondy arc where Luffy met BB, it was made pretty clear how similar they are in goal and character, except for the major point the BB wants to become Pirate King to rule as a despot, while Luffy just likes the romance of it.
