Man, the official site has a crapload of content now including videos. Navigating it is a little hairy but there's some cool stuff in there.

This game looks really nice so far.

Surprisingly, I was really impressed with the backgrounds, especially the Thousand Sunny. Nico Robin was in the background looking at a book, Zoro was sleeping, Chopper was doing his backward peeking… and y'know, I usually don't get impressed by backgrounds, but that's some nice touches!
That, and the gameplay looks to be much better already.

And Brook was doing the 45 Degrees at the mast. ;) I agree, that was some really nice detail which I always care so much for just because it gives you the impression that the people in charge know their One Piece.^^
I personally loved the Sabaody background. In the video where Chopper was jumping around you could even see Apoo on the roof of one building.^^

You can get to the other videos from here. See the banner with the six boxes of which three have text and three have question marks? Each box with a text can be clicked on and two of them lead to more videos.
Btw, is it a problem at my end or are those videos supposed to have no sound? :unsure:

And I swear I could hear sound out of the first video I saw, but at the time I think it was actually just some sound effects from my TV. I guess they're not suppose to have sound? I dunno…

wow. the levels look massive, and i like the backgrounds too. the power-ups look like JUS' power-ups.
looks miles better than GS. it also looks like each character has 3 specials

I'm impressed by the visuals! They're really pretty! Especially for a DS game.
I hope they keep the idea of Komas. Seeing manga pics at the bottom of my screen all colored and shaped up just got me excited. Sometimes I liked to just look at Komas all day.

There was already a screenshot showing what the bottom screen looks like. Unfortunately, no koma.

I wonder if they're gonna code it so when you play as a character who appears in the background if they disappear from the background. Or will we have two of some character depending on the stage.

I'd imagine they do. We've seen pictures on the Sunny without Robin, Chopper, Brook etc in the background and them being used/played as so.

Higher quality version of the picture on the special edition cover, along with what appears to be the regular cover.
Also, what appears to be the winners for that contest where people could suggest teams in the game for prizes, complete with exclusive artwork for those teams.

I thought Sanji was just in the picture? He's not in the actual team. Instead another player and is being 'charmed' by Hammock XD
Being able to turn a char into Stone AND charm them = pwnsome
