At first, one may assume this is a rather juvenile thing to say. This is untrue, and is well deserved considering recent events.

In a way, there's a ring of truth to this statement. There's no reason we can't understand why Kubo is like he is. Do we condemn a pedophile for having a twisted/ruined childhood by the hands of a loved one or any other person close to them? Of course not. We do that because of what he does.

Kubo, I'd say you could draw my story and we'd make a manga more successful than Bleach, but you'd call me a child who doesn't understand your world because I believe readers of my work have the right to judge and criticize it where needed and applicable, so unfortunately my quest for an artist for my epic comic must continue elsewhere.

Almost as much as the fact that there are people who don't see this for the bitch-fest it is.

I think it's a matter of exposure.

No other manga-ka I know of except Akamatsu has as-direct a line to the fans as Kubo does, and even then Kubo's is unparalleled. The fact that he'd expose himself in such a way suggests he's oblivious to the danger in opening himself up. It's entirely possible his contacts through Shueisha rose-tint all Bleach updates for him and so he's got a windowed view of how the world views him..

I'm not surprised he's reacting childishly. If a child first experienced pain, they'd baaw too. He's probably not as internet savvy as he's trying to portray himself and that's because he's allowed himself to lead a rather shut-in lifestyle.

I for one am bursting my gut over those gems you provided - not just because they're funny, but it reveals a lot about the creative mind behind Bleach. He's not an anonymous force. He's not even a man. He's a baby, a Japanese Gene Simmons, and he's doing his best to try and hide it without even knowing he's got something to hide.

I've spent about three coming up with 2 stories, one that would be a series, while the other would fit in a larger-end novel. But I know my writing skills are probably just below publishable, so I'm waiting on writing and working on ideas instead of bounding in stupidly only to lose myself 20 chapters in.
Edit@above: That mental breakdown was actually caused by him learning of Watsuki's death.

but anyway, lets see last chapter was seraph aizen cutting down gin right? so back to scooby doo chase with the humans and aizen? and most likely a shot of ichigo's dad going "still?"
