Well, you know it would be impossible to last forever.

It can't just end! xD

Really hope that One Piece will be one of those Mangas that last so long.
But the last part gotta be about something with Shanks & Luffy in co-op.
-
I for one hope that it will end before it gets repetative like DragonBall Z. But that doesn´t mean that I don´t want it to still go on for a long time.
When all stories are told, when all loose ends are tied up when every adventure has been experienced then I hope for it to end.

**I agree.
But after they have found One Piece they should make a "After One Piece" or something. ^_^ -
After One Piece? Well, about who or where, Ben Beckham? Describe it.
Well, some Mini-Series could've been great, like Usopp Crew; After All.

I just hope that Oda wouldn't pull a Bob Newhart and make it where in the end it's discovered that Luffy was just dreaming the whole thing and none of what happened in the series really happened.
-
I'd just like all loose ends to be tied up…really, I have confidence that Oda will end the story when no point of plot or character is left to be made.
-
I think the best course of action would be to break shortly after One Piece is discovered. At this point, the unifying nature of "we're all on this ship to find our dreams" will begin to clash with "well, half of us have gotten them already and frankly are a bit depressed now and drag the rest of the crew down." A few characters will have stories that need to finish being told, but they might be better told in a "spin-off" series. "Chopper in Med School" would obviously have a very different tone and content than the original OP, for example. :D
-
Terri: Eh, the last episode should be a MOVIE named, "Last Movie" or something. xD
-
i would like it to go on for awile longer because if luffy reached his goal in the next arc or two i think it would be too fast. but i dont want it to drag on either. i want all the loose ends tied up and then after its all over mabey a short thing about what happened ot all the charaters mabey some time in the future. but i have faith that oda will give us a very good ending
-
I really hope One Piece doesn't have a coup-out ending. It could be something dissapointing like One Piece doesn't really exist, or Gold Roger really didn't hide it at the Grand Line. But, let's hope Oda won't use an ending like that. We can all know that by the way Oda does things, the ending could be anything surprising and fitting. Let's just hope none of the characters die. T_T

That's actually a possibilty I considered. The onlt thing he said was "I hid it at 'that place' ".. everyone assumed he hid it on raftel (the last island on the grand line) but who knows..
-
If they end it next season, it would be kind of rushed. But then again, no one wants it to drag for another 200 episodes, either. Just look at Detective Conan now.

Yeah, but Conan is still exiting… ^^;

One Piece end!? :o
no way that will happend any time soon.
One Piece has so much potential still and has many many paths to follow still, it cant end yet….

I want there to be a massive face-off between the Straw Hats and Shank's pirates for One Piece, like, a fight or something.

Yeah, I really hope that OP doesn't turn into DBZ. If Oda keeps up coming with new ideas, these next eight years will be a bomb. :D
-
By the end, I hope that Luffy finds ten nakama, and meets with Shanks again. It's also possible that Usopp will find Yasopp.

Well Luffy´s promise to Shanks includes that he will find a pirate crew that´ll beat Shanks´ crew. Besides what better last opponent would there be then the own idol?
I though Shanks was like a dad for Luffy, but ok… :rolleyes:_

Hey, I was just telling you what Luffy said. If he promises to Shanks that he´s going to be the Pirate King then everybody takes it as a given, but when he says that he will defeat him Luffy´s promise shouldn´t mean much? How come?
Besides, I never said that Shanks doesn´t mean much to Luffy. If they should really ever fight with each other, then this must hurt Luffy´s feelings more then fighting Usopp. But I´m sure that Oda could write a classic emotional and dramatic fight between those two guys. And I´m not talking about fighting styles but about the conversations here.
Besides, though Mihawk doesn´t have the same status to Zoro as Shanks has to Luffy, I´d say that Zoro still admires him for his skill, honor and pride he has as a swordman. Yet Zoro is aiming for defeating him.

Someone mentioned something about a spin-off. It would be funny to see one with Chopper, with his own E.R-esque hospital drama.

Yeah, and Luffy coming to visit him when i want to! xD

By the end of the series whenever that will be, all of the characters will fulfill their dreams. Luffy will become Pirate Kind, Zoro will defeat Mihawk and prove that he is the greatest swordsman in the world, Nami will draw a map of the world, Usopp will be the courageous warrior of the seas he says he'll be, Sanji will find All Blue, Chopper will learn more about the world, and Robin will find the true history.
Some of the dreams the Straw Hats are trying to acomplish aren't exactly straightforward, though. Well, Robin's isn't, anyway. The true history has to be the most complicated out of all the character's dreams.

Huh? I´d say that this is far more straight forward to accomplish then lets say Usopp´s vague dream. She just has to read all the Porneglyph´s she needs to find the True History text while for Usopp it is a vague thing of definition to achieve his dream. He already showed courage, defeated dangerous villains and sails the sea and yet he still doesn´t appear to have fulfilled his dream. It appears that it´s a lot less straight forward to accomplish then what Robin is aiming for. In my book at least.
