Wha… the real Kuro ain't dead man. :P
-
See episode 45, you see that Kuro is still alive and well on his ship, but he's not planning on anything bad. Well, that's only in the anime. The manga didn't show what happened to him after the battle.
-
And even if you don't go by that scene in the anime, he's probably still alive in the manga too.
If kuro is really dead, then how did he they, who turned him in
By this are you talking about when it showed the marines shoot Kuro? If so, that was just a guy who was hypnotized by Jango into thinking he was Kuro, so he took the fall.
Sorry if I misunderstood the question.
-
Kuro is still alive…. I don't use dead villians in my story dude...

In your story? Eh?
Yes, Kuro's alive… his crew took him and left the island.
-
Yeah, the guy who got hypnotized into thinking he killed Kuro was Captain Morgan.
-
Remember, Luffy doesn't kill, he just totally crushes his opponents dreams & ambitions to an extent that they are practically dead. Kuro being a shining example of just that. ;)

Then what about Crocodile? Isn't he dead?
-
Not sure. But if Croc's dead, it wasn't by Luffy's hand. ;)
-
Sir Croc got arrested.
-
kuro was pretty cool though it would rock if he reappeared

Yeah, that was pretty sad, really. He looked extremely depressed, in the brief moment he was onscreen.
Then again, I guess after he was hyped up so much, and literally had his rear tossed off the island by Luffy, well… I'd be depressed too, honestly.
-
Yeah. In fact, I'd kill whoever brought him up. :P

Kuro aint dead. If you go by the show Luffy just hit him in the head really hard knocking him out and then he threw him to his crew. Just because somebody falls to the ground and doesn't move does not mean they are dead.

**Unless of course Tashigi is a complete moron, she would never have said this to a defeated Crocodile:
"By order of the Marine Headquarters, acting with the authority of the World Government, in accordance with the Naval Enemy Seizure clause, you are neceforth stripped of all titles and privileges granted to you by the Government."
Sorry, I haven't seen that episode and I haven't gotten that far in the manga. That's why I thought that Crocodile might be dead._

Yo, I know about the hypnosis trick and crocodile is not dead for sho, just a justifying KO. I was wonderin like after the battle. What made me think this question was: 1. Jango joins the marines 2. arlong park.com-in the wanted page-said he was possibly dead and 3. the flashbacks showed before the headbutt then the headbutt given by luffy looked very devastating that a weak guy like him could have died from it. Besides you know what they say, Your life flashes before your eyes when close to death ;) .
-
actually kuro ain't dead where are you? infact, why do you think hes dead he told you the plan that he ain't he just used his henchmen to look like him, AND even in kater episode he was there doing that gay galsses thing
-
Well, the characters in One Piece have taken much worse than a headbutt and still survived.
-
The anime shows him in the episode where Luffy gets his bounty.
-
If your a dub watcher, it showed him in last weeks episode "Wanted". It showed him on his ship, laying below the ship in the darkness while a pirate of his gave him Luffy's wanted poster. He's still alive and well, but most likely in anger. :D
-
I really wonder if kuro will ever come back, Later on in the story..and team up with Arlong and Buggy + Alvida for all scale assult on the strawhats…Then again, Maybe not.
-
I seem to remember reading that Oda said Arlong was executed in one of the SBS's…if that's true, I would think Crocodile would be too. Or maybe they're both really at Impel Down. :P
I want to see Kuro return, too, though. He was cool.

no one really dies in OP apart from those who got executed.. so Kuro is not dead, and you see him after Luffy gets his 100Mil bounty

**Really? I wonder how the executed him… I dont see those marine guns doing much against him... Then again, Maybe I'm just juding on the fact that he stopped that canon ball with his teeth.

Wait a minute, how does Toei knows that Kuro is not dead and has him alive in the anime? Did Oda tell them them or did Toei mad it up?

I used to hear that quite a bit from a particular member on the old forum in reference to Crocodile; despite repeated requests, no volume was provided.
So I went back and checked each and every last SBS between the time when Arlong was introduced until the time that I started hearing that rumor. Unless Stephen missed it somewhere, which I doubt, Oda never said anything of the sort.
I may have simply missed it, but we never ever hear which volume this SBS appeared in. Only that "I heard that Oda said in a SBS". Considering the amount of scrutiny that the series receives, you'd think that the volume number would be common knowledge if such an important piece of information was contained in it. Plus it just doesn't seem like Oda to simply do away with characters that he put so much time into developing in such an off-handed manner.

Ah, ic. Funny how those things spread. And I'm contributing. Thanks for clearing that up, though. I guess we can assume everyone is alive until proven dead.
-
Of all the villains Luffy fought, Arlong's fate is still unknown. We know what happened to the other villains after they got defeated, but Arlong was last seen under a pile of rubbles, and that's it. One may speculate that he's dead.
-
I heard that Luffy's attack broke Arlong's neck but I guess nothing official has been said.
As for Kuro, all that happened to him was being hit in the head by Luffy;s head. Not exactly a fatal attack.

Read the post above yours thats all I can say ;) .
I checked that post and must admit that I don´t have any idea what you were trying to say there. Just because Jango joined the marine it doesn´t mean that Kuro is dead. The Kuroneko Pirates left him alone on the island, his former captain tried to kill him and he failed his captain with the mission to kill Kaya. He´s better of alone.
Corby also is a marine now and I don´t see Alvida being dead, do you?Other then that Kuro´s wanted poster is just crossed because the fake Kuro got eliminated 3 years ago. Besides those crossed wanted posters don´t appear in the manga anyway so they are just an easter egg from Toei. But if you still want to go with the Toei continuity then just watch episode 45 and you´ll see that Kuro is pretty much alive on his old and damaged ship.
Yes I don't see alvida dead and I watched episode 45. Thanks ivotas_

**Well from the looks of that attack, it looks like that attack broke his back so to me, arlong is dead.
