Besides, OP is a shounen manga with a very high male-to-female ratio, so it's natural most contests will be won by men.

Also, there's a big difference between "the men defeating the women because there are more" and "the men defeating the women because they were all killed off at the beginning".

Yet, Robin has won so many times. Don't give me that "Robin should win every round" crap. I actually like Robin, but I will vote against her if she gets all that support, while other worthy characters get no love.

Check out the all girls list. Robin had almost 100 points. We kinda teamed up to get rid of her, and eventually did. My top pick, Tashigi had around 50 points. As soon as he saw me help her, he immediately went after her. That's just one time. He also seems to enjoy killing Nectar and Palochka's top picks.
