On this thread you can post your tattoo or talk about what you plan to get inked on your body.

The decapitated samurai was my first tat, to me it means, "To die with honor"

The Kanji above the skull is my 2nd tattoo, "Meiyo" which means Honor

My 3rd tattoo, is my sons name.

My 4th tat, i got a couple weeks ago, Its a japanese dragon, "Ryu". to me it stands for strength..
And yeah my armpit hair is willlddd lol

Tattoos mean alot to some people…
To me, if i have to think twice about getting what i want inked on me.
I wont get it.
If i want a tattoo, i wait a month + and if i feel the same way about it, ill get it inked.
To me, tattoos are a reflection of your personality.
Our own personal canvas.

Their not for everyone, but to me, its something special.
And i would never get something inked on me if it was anything less.

Dont get a tattoo because it looks kewl.
If you truely want a tattoo, think of what you want, and wait.
If you still feel the same, get it.

This. Whatever ever I get I will think is awesome for about a week. Then I'll keep asking myself why I got it for the rest of my life.

Nice tattoo. I also like the ideal of honor and to die with it. I always thought about getting a dragon, loved the stories and their meanings since i was a kid, but i have never found something that i wanted to fully commit to.

The symbol of the snake eating itself has many different meaning, in this case it symbolizes the cycle of infinite death that humans are trapped in. The scales are reversed to reflect the rotation of movement. The hourglass inside shows "time" being inside that cycle and the alpha slowly turning into the omega. The hour glass design was done by a friend, it shows good(obelisks with a white sphere) and evil(warped monster face with a black cube).[/hide]

I like that, the meaning behind that is definitely deep.
Im feeling the design, big ups to our friend for the flash.
Yeah its expensive for good quality, my friend tattoos so ive been spoiled and i get really good prices.
But for something thats going to be on your for ever, the price shouldnt matter.

Handle your business and do what youve got to do, and with the spare money youve got on the side, when the time comes, drop some dough to get whe seeking wisdom and truth idea, thats definitely kewl to have such deep meaning to the ink you get.

I don't think I will ever get a tattoo myself. Having earrings makes me feel pirate enough. But I have always thought if I would get a tattoo it would be a big colourful back tattoo. You know, Yakuza style. Those things can be stunningly beautiful.

I have loved Pirates since I was a kid and this is my design for my own jolly roger.

The infinty symbol means that it is eternal, the thing that is eternal is piracy which is symbolic of dreams and freedom.

The words mean "Fated Children" meaning that the people who have touched me and the people I have touched through the years are destined for great things.

What do you think?

And it doesn't intentionally look like genitalia(the one cross bone), the tattoo artist is also my sisters boyfriends brother and even though he works at a shop he has a sick twisted sense of humor. I'm getting it fixed soob

nice, i like the meaning and depth put into, honestly i didnt notice the genitalia thing until you mentioned it lol.

oh thats dope.
i was thinkin about getting luffys face pissed off on my right peck and combine it with the wind bar shading to my arms later.
The face stands for determination, because when he gets serious, hes determined to handle business even if death is the outcome.

if its just eye candy, i wouldnt recommend it, but you could still get it.
I know plenty of dudes tatted head to toe, literally. And they do it for eye candy, how can 10 skulls and 6 different demons mean anything to you lol.
But i mean really, its your canvas, and you can put whatever you want on you.
Whatever you want.

Yeah what im trying to say is, if you want luffy, get luffy.
If it werent for my girl and my kid, i would have aloooot more tats, but i keep it above the forearm and limited. Im just gonna do japanese wind bars and clouds to shade it in, and ill just have half my arm, and im done for awhiiile.

I never said I didn't like them. I respect a lot of the art and wouldn't be afraid of the needle. I honestly don't care about them, but that's just an issue between me, my wallet and my desire to avoid commitment.

Most peoples first tat reflects an image of themselves.
My boy tatted someone up pirate theme, its pretty ill.

I think its so awesome to stick through a theme.
I think his arm came out way dope in the long run.

Though id never stretch onto my forearm, i want to keep it to where if im wearing an XL t shirt you wouldnt know ive got any tats.
