That dragon is epic and Oga is such a likeable protagonist it's not even funny
-
"Is that CG?"
Is Beelzebub going to be like Negima now? hahaha
And I think Tojo is going to appear soon.
-
This chapter is lighter on the jokes but much more badass, especially that dragon! It looks really awesome, I hpe we can get it in color in a 2-spread page or something, especially with Oga fighting it.
-
I love how detailed and Beelze-styled that dragon was. It actually looked pretty impressive. One Piece can end for all I care if Toriko and Beelzebub keep up this pace. They're both bringing out good chapters one after another. I am satisfied.
Also, Oga is so foolish it's almost frustrating. Overconfidence much? :P
-
I would have loved if someone in the manga had pointed out how stupid the "is that cg?" comment is. Freaking hate that about Negima.
-
I love this series so much. That dragon was awesome, as was everything else in the chapter.
-
The dragon spread made me wet in my pants. Great chapter. Maybe my favorite of this weeks.
-
Great chapter. A freaking dragon. . .
Let's see where this is going. Oga can't win yet against such a monster, I think. . .
I hope next chapter also brings the comedy with En vs Furuichi, who was surprisingly serious mode this time.
All in all, great stuff! The Shonen Jump REAL top 3 delivered this week.
-
That dragon was epic
-
Hundred chapters in Tamura is finally trying to do something fun with his art. And man, does he succeed!
-
Nice chapter… I really dont think Oga will win though... but he might show some move that will impress the general. This all out war arc looks like its going to be really interesting. Would have love to see what is Aoi doing now though...
-
I'm not as high on this chapter as everyone else, it seems. The dragon was quite cool, and it's nice to see the reveal of Jabberwock and that clown thing with En. But somehow, this chapter didn't live up to the ones before it for me.
I mean, I liked it and all. It just felt like it was lacking something, and I'm not really sure what.
-
maybe the lack of gags? (there was one with the cg thing it seems, thought i dont know about it ): )
lets hope is not the lack of Aoi, she`s a good character but has too much screentime imo, specially compared to the other tohoshinki
-
Really surprised at the art work of this dragon, this author is really talented.
-

Maybe so. Maybe this chapter seems too serious and depressing or something. Though I'm not sure if that's quite right either, since I liked the chapters with Behemoth's pillar squad first appearing.

Aoi's awesome, but no, that's definitely not it. I'm perfectly fine with chapters that don't include her. I don't think I'd say her screentime is over the top, though. She is, after all, most likely the 2nd most important fighter in the entire story (slightly ahead of Hilda, imo). Note I didn't say 2nd strongest.
-
Yeah i know what you mean, most of this chap was hyping up and showing some new characters (clown and Jabberwock are awesome).
Looks like Hilda is in a "damsel in distress" situation now. Good thing if she actually ends up being held hostage she won't be sitting around doing nothing.
-
can someone explain how the ranks for the army work
so far there's
General of the army
generals
pillar
commander
soldier
I think we need an aohgie translation of the ranks of the first three shown cause it seems they've switched them an awful lot
-
Dragon was awesome. Jabberwock looks pretty badass. And that's kind of all I can really say about the chapter. I think I'm with Urouge. This chapter was definitely good but I think it went by a little quicker than I would like and there wasn't too much to offer.
But once again, that dragon was amazing.
-
The chapter was pretty good although I felt it lacked a bit more of gags, I always love Tamura's gags, but its fine, really.
The dragon looked pretty amazing, the Jester guy aswell.
One thing I felt was a bit weird in this chapter was how Oga acted, I do not remember watching him being so worried before, sweating and stuff, it may just be my memory, but it felt really awkward to me… and he was like that in almost every single panel, eh. It's not that out of character and it sure is understandable, but it FELT out of it for me. -
i love that dragon. holy fuck it's so badass.
it actually looks intimidating, which is how they should be (IMO) -
The dragon was the highlight of the entire chapter, it even overshadowed Jabberwock.
And Oga…..what else can I say? He's badass incarnate.
-

In all fairness it did spend a good deal of this chapter setting up the major scenario for the next chapter. Sometimes you have to do that to make such memorable chapters that stand out and define it amongst its rivals.
-
The dragon is the best drawn thing in this series and that clown looking dude wins for best character design.
-
Wow, what a interesting chapter! The beginning was ok, it was just the continuation of the gang running away. The really good part is when Oga and Hilda are talking to the old man and find out who the new Behemoth is! Woah, his stare at Oga is intense! When Hilda was captured by the dragon, I began to wonder if Beelzebub was going to get it's rescue "female companion" arc….this is why I enjoy Beelzebub, because that thought flew immediately out my head once Oga appears on the dragon!!! Woah! Oh and the main highlight in the art, was the dragon, that thing looked WICKED!!

So, a question for the babu fans in usa.Any news about the possibilities of usa getting beelzebub? Are the fans there requesting it to viz, yen press...??

Woah, looks pretty badass.
Edit:
! Aaagh! Hilda! Please be okay! Kinda freaking out right now.
-
! Wow what an amazing chapter. Though I'm kind of pissed how things have turned out in an odd sense. Upset team Oga is being walked on see easily, while high-fiving the air that Tamura has done the right thing and given better limitations and a true sense of unpredictability and urgency into the plot again.
! In short its my inner hardcore fan against my inner plot appreciation. Though I wouldn't change anything if given the chance…not a thing. -
I found the script. It
s reserved for Red Hawk Manga so don
t share it to any other scanlator
http://mangahelpers.com/t/shadowskill/releases/31062And BTW, the epic name of the jester-clown comes from this
!
Quetzalcoatl (Classical Nahuatl: Quetzalcohuātl [ketsaɬˈko.aːtɬ]) is a Mesoamerican deity whose name comes from the Nahuatl language and has the meaning of "feathered-serpent"
! Basically a Maya deity i personally love design-like (thought after reading Popol Vuh your brain is so messed up you`ll dislike maya stuff for a while, lol -

Chapter 121 by RH is out!
! Decent chapter (one of those that almost doesn't have a gag in it), it kind of builds up the happenings for the next arc. I don't quite get why Hilda lets her self be captured (or she just doesn't want Jabberwock to follow her with Beel's safety on the line?). There will be a tournament! Still no signs of Toujo. hmmm
-
Ah, i expected the whole gang going back to school first to regroup. I guess they're going in now and will likely be defeated first.
Hilda likely wants to resolve this diplomatically for some reason i suppose..
-
Man, that was pretty sweet. Jabberwock is crazy strong!
-
Hilda gone….

Shonen cliche rescue arc comming up? All start praying that Beelzebub does not end up as Bleach.
Oga and the rest will probably raze Demon high to the ground and head for demonland. -
@Oga:
Wasn't there a GF in FF VIII called Quetzalcoatl?
Yes there was, the thunder bird thing. First one you get.

-
Is anyone else thinking that GULP signifies Hilda dying? I mean when she was captured the first time she was just sitting in the dragons mouth, wouldn't she be swallowed the first time as well?
-
Yea she's dead, Oga will be dead too next chapter from the impact.
-
Good chapter, though it has me a bit worried that the comedy element may start to lessen a bit. I'm sure it won't go the Reborn route, but that remains to be seen.
Also, not that many of you care, but Quezacotl (the Mayan God who En's henchman is named after) was the god that some scholars believe the Mayans mistook Cortes to be when he first arrived in Mexico.

Oga and the rest will probably raze Demon high to the ground and head for demonland.Just because Hilda is kidnapped you fear for Beelzebub to start Bleachifying? I think you're a little too paranoid here. Kubo is a troll and he probably knows it as well Tamura is doing a very decent job, he won't suddenly start going the opposite way.
Besides Hilda has never been an Orihime and she never will be.

-
I'm pretty sure many of you are going to kill me, but I think Hilda suits Oga better than Aoi (and I like the two equally).
-
the dragon still looks beast as fuck, and i was like "HOLY SHIT" when it attacked Hilda.
really looking forward to whatever happens next.
-
terrible comment, even one piece has done rescue arcs, this means nothing of the sort
I know one piece has done rescue arcs (as have a lot of other shonen jump series, hence me calling it cliche.), many in fact, even a failed one. I only did mention Bleach because from the point of when Rukia was taken everything changed, for the worst.
I know a comparison between Beelzebub and bleach is a waste as they have little in common and probably never will have. But the thing is, Beelzebub's ratings are usually low, and changing the story dramatically this way may not be good for it, but on the other side it may shoot up in the rankings if people like it so who knows. -
It's not exactly ranking low.
More like it keeps around the middle line alot and has depth and height points from there every now and then.

Ye you are right its usually average, should not have said its usually low as that is wrong, but it was recently low 6 which is not good.
