btw one of the things that made me suspect the spoilers were fake was a vice admiral going to pick up ace. no way would the world government be that stupid but i loved the luffy girl pic so much i let that slide. i believe at least an admiral will come to escort ace as the ship they are escorting ace in might end up getting attacked by whitebeard so they need somebody powerful aboard the ship. probably an admiral and several vice admirals will probably be the escorts.

I also thought that. At least it should have been AkaInu or some shichi.
That's the only thing I DID NOT bought from the story itself.

Haha. No, that's not the same. We are talking about something that we attempt to predict on a weekly basis. We turned a prediction into a viable fake "spoiler". If it turns out we were right, then we were just thinking too much like Oda. After all, when AL and I were bouncing ideas off each other we outlined the entire chapter so everything fit together together and make sense. Anyway, the main goal was to have fun, and we did. So either way, we win.

Don't recall. I find out today March 31st. That's besides the point. If I follow that logic I can initiate April Fools jokes/pranks months in advance and only let you know on April 1st somewhere in the world.

I.E. Wife lets husband believe her first born is his until April 1st. "The boy you've raised for the past year as your child isn't your son!!!!, April Fools!!!!!"

An April Fools Day prank will always be executed on April 1, and no sooner or later. The set up for the prank can take place at any time you want (though it's fair to not involve your target in it), but the prank itself begins and ends April 1.

I really do feel strongly about this, since the act causing someone to believe a falsehood (in jest of course) despite their better judgment is an art form. A good prank could even be considered in the same vein as a magic trick. Managing to fool someone on April 1, when people are expecting it, is something to brag about. Launching a prank days beforehand and then reveling that it's a trick on April 1 is just cheap. Besides, the best pranks are always busted.

Majority of the people on this forum do not hate it but love it. Some of us however are not fond of it.
I cannot speak for others but can only explain for myself.

For me personally its that though I like the ocasional jokes in OP I would be bothered if things got a bit too goofy.
And since the things that have happened recently are a bit goofy I am a bit bothered with the idea of Luffy turning into a woman.
Although this is a shounen and not a seinen I want it to be in jist a "serious" story about a boy who wants to becomes a pirate king.
With too much goofing around I suddenly get a feeling I am watching a cartoon for 5 years old and get a bit "embarased" uncomfortable as that is not what I am seeking in this manga.
So like I said, I like things to be funny but too much goofing around and for me it becomes childlish and disturbing.

The example for me was thriller bark with all the dancing zombies and especially in anime that for me was just disturbing a lot. Then came the zombie ugly pig which later on appeared to be an ugly strange looking woman. Also loads of other designes and actions were just not cool/ok looking one for me…
Few gags and funny characters here and there I dont mind but too much and I dont like it that much...

Hope that explains it for me.
As for others you would have to ask them

This was a really good trick. Really well planned and believable, like good april fool hoaxes are. Hell, I fell for it 100%!
