This thread needs more life. I'm pretty sure you introduced me to this, Taboo. I love Andrew's sense of humor and phrasing. It's really infectious and has started to permeate my daily vocabulary. Even his Formspring account is amusing to keep track of.
I'm loving Homestuck so far. It's a different ballpark from Problem Sleuth, but still just as hilarious.

Equius is my favorite. Every scene he's in proves to be the best scene in the story. The dude practically speedruns his portion of the game, plus has creepy domination fetishes. His entire conversation with Dave had me in stitches. I hope he shows up more later on, though I kind of doubt it, considering how the story's going.

Problem Sleuth is very much worth reading. If you have some downtime, you could finish it in one day, as I did.
As for act 5, I've enjoyed every bit of it, but that it takes up more than half the series is ridiculous. This scratch segment was a bit tedious, but I enjoyed the bit of playing around with story telling techniques that he did with it. Now, the segment is over and, hopefully, we'll be getting the EOA flash within the week. Supposedly, it's going to be a 10 minute long segment that the team's been working on since june. If that's the case, it should be pretty amazing.
Edit: Also, Act 5 Act 2 map is up! This means the EOA is definitely on its way.

I've definitely lost track of the plot altogether over the course of Act 5. I need to set aside a weekend and re-read it if he's actually going to demand that the reader process everything that he's put in there to understand what happens next.

The Doc Sracth part was not bad actually. It's probally one of the more better parts in Act 5(especially the use of the header). It's just a little bit confusing when Hussie was introducing alternative timelines, afterlife bubbles, and other little tidbits like probability. I honestly didn't know what was going on at several parts, especially the "Tick" "Tock". The thing I don't like too much about Act5 is the trolls. I like some of them them and thier role is important, but the stories within the Kid's session just interests me more. With all the spotlight these guys has been hogging, I wonder how the main characters are supposed to surpass them.

I feel the same about the trolls. It's probably because of their later introduction but I really care about the kids a lot more, as characters. So all the troll focus wasn't my thing, but I do still think it's not a bad thing since I'm sure the hardcore troll fans were happy.
What these recent events did do was make me really interested in the Midnight Crew/Snowman/TheFelt+Doc+English. I just love the weird surrealness of those guys. XD

I'm almost tempted to reread The Felt segments now, because I didn't really get most of it at first(jumping time played a role here). That, and it was a big draggy. I honestly thought I was really going to see these guys kill 1000 clocks. But yes, I love those characters alot more now. They are my second favorite sect right over the Kids. The Exiles are up there too, mainly for The Mayor character(his intro was excellent).

The latest update was okay. Atleast Gamze has finally calmed the hell down.
At the cost of killing off the worst trolls that is.But really, my favorite thing about the update was the remix of Harleboss.

The new pins on sale are really tempting me. They're adorable and I love fandom merch that isn't too..fandomy? Like something I could wear as an everyday sort of thing, without having to explain what it is over and over again.

I wish I could buy just the Dave pin, since that might look cool (but since it's Dave, there will be several layers of meta-irony at play or something).
I liked the Gamzee episode. Waking up to those updates lead to some weird mornings. There have been so many large mood swings with it, that it's been a fun ride. I can't wait until it gets back to the main story, though. The scratch animation should definitely provide a lot of that (hopefully justifying the long wait).

FFFFfffffffffffff!! 3 weeks?! Well, now is a good to reread some stuff. I'd read the ancestor parts since I skipped over them, but I have not realized the purpose behind them, aside from passing their will to the current generation of trolls. Well, maybe it's a good time to read the afterlife bubble things. I was lost as hell when I first read it.

The ancestor stuff, like everything else in MSPA that seems innocuous at first, contains some heavy foreshadowing regarding the fate of the kids' session. The possibility of a guardian-player swap, Betty Crocker's importance, Echidna's choice and stuff about Lord English. Most of that is on the first page of the ancestor stuff, though. The rest is just fan food regarding the trolls, including a fateswap theme.

! Yeah dude. It pretty much wraps up everything making kinda hard to summerize everything that just happened. The only parts that puzzled me was all the moment Jack went jumping though sessions an time. I was losing track a little bit, but it's interesting to see how much he literally played everyone. At the same time, he kinda screwed himself… His mistakes being letting Jade reach God Tier, and not knowing The Mayor had one of those prototyping rings(and letting that Exile live). Safe to say that Jack is probably dead.
! Now some new things. Lord English is now awaken(I'm assuming that's why Doc Scratch said "suckers" before The Scratch), I'm unsure about the whether the living trolls made it out of that final moment alive(Sollux died trying to pull them out). That post lady exile prototyped and has the same properties as Jack(she just has that sword... which I think probably killed Jack), and a bunch of God Tiers. "What now?" is the biggest question.
! As for other things, I'm sad Mayor died. Serenity probably wants as much revenge now. That part with [what's his name] blowing up all those vessels while Jack was in pressence was… badass for some reason. -
I'm going to have to watch this again and again for clarity. There's simply too much going on to get the first time around. I'll probably have more full comments after class…

I understood it, though I retrace bits of the series often. There were three hints throughout and most people caught the meaning as soon as Hussie set up the fourth walls separated by one yellow yardstick.
