Mihawk is like Kanye West…ppl only scared of him bcuz hes kinda crazy and dangerous...hes only got 1 friend Jayz i mean Shanks no 2 mention hes really cocky too and nobody in the OP world likes him..mayb kanye has a long black sword too!!

This chapter was great. If only to see Genkishi be beat like the little bitch he is. I really don't like Genkishi as a character.

I don't know about the whole exponential power growth thing…
I mean, I found the chapter to actually be a little corny.
Half the characters are in awe or fear, and then there's the quintessential composed/diagnostic ones ones who openly voice their analyses for the convenience of the audience.
There was also Genshiki: Overconfidence -> FIRIN MAH LAZER -> Throw an insult or two -> Confusion/Disbelief -> Evaluate Yamamoto's attack -> Scream -> Defeated. He went ahead and hit pretty much every checkpoint.
The funniest thing for me was that whole "Genkishi's even stronger than before" part.
Now maybe I've set up a double-standard; OP has probably done something like this before too. But this chapter didn't flow all that well imo.
Like e1n said, it looks like it's all about who has the newest/coolest powers/weapons.
But eh, I'm invested, so I'll keep reading.

I'd think that too but then you see what he went through and how he saved his life.It's not like he saved him from drowning or something, he went through a vicious illness that came out of nowhere than Byakuran goes about that God talk which was pretty something too O_O Byakuran is officially the best villain in the series in my opinion.

Byakuran is a douche of high degree, no mistake, but greatest shonen villain? I don't think so. There's a whole history out there he has to compete with, he hasn't gone nearly far enough to get that title.

Plant thing was pretty graphic, but it still doesn't hold a candle to what happened to Sha Gojyo in Gensomaden Saiyuki… ugh, that gives me the shivers thinking about it. But yeah, sorry Genkishi.
My guess is that Daisy is gonna get real nasty when backed into a corner. I doubt Byakuran's gonna make it this easy... Unless, of course, the Author just wants to end this ridiculously long future arc and move on to something... anything. Hell, we can have ten chapters of Verde lecturing about cooking Minestrone or Luche and her squirrel searching for acorns.
Speaking of Luche, have any databooks or interviews or anything come out that confirm her being Uni's grandmother or mother? Pretty sure it's her grandmother, but you never know.

I honestly stopped reading this series by Squalo's shark thing but a whim made me take a look and it's looking better now, I'll pick it back up.
Just can someone tell me what the fuck happened to make the box system not suck and why Yama has such an awesome dog?
Also this series has the strangest (dumbest) reasons to give characters powerups. Probably because Amano fucked things up with ridiculously overpowered villians from the jump. Yama's first big swordfight against the best swordsman in the world, are you kidding? Now to match him against the real best swordsman with a hellish powerup the excuse is "Hey baseball's gay now, I'mma stick to this sword shit."

In my opinion, Dio Brando was a great villain that sucked even more with each new Jojo arc he's introduced in. In Jojo Part 1, he was a calm, calculating, respectful evil bastard, In Part 3, he became a cockroach and what's more he acted like a cocky bitch, in Part 6, he took in some priest under his wing (Dio, the guy who saw humans as nothing but inferior vermin) and he looked more like a lady too.

! as I see it kikyou did a smart thing out of the 3 of them gokudera can be the most lethal to him and his plants yes tsuna has the X burner but that only does so much and without the contacts i'm not to sure if tsuna can really use it plus tsuna doesn't like to take human life. gokudera however doesn't mind

I liked the chapter myself, my guess is that gokudera uses his storm ring flame to decompose the plants and get back to fighting kikyo anyways excited to see tsunas attack form of his vongola box
