Wrong. I've seen 20-23 dubbed, and I know they have 24 subbed. That and I think on daily motion they have 25 and 26. Not sure about 27-33 because I was only worried about the Kokuyo arc.
The anime is ok. I read the manga, 1-4, and I don't like the begining. I started reading the Kokuyo arc a long time ago, but I forgot where I was so decided just to watch the anime version of the Kokuyo arc.

Also I have a question since I skipped about 3 volumes. How is yamamoto's bat a sword? When he's battling it's a sword, but then it looks like a bat when puts it back. Does it transform or what?

I was refering to the quality subs from Shinsen and Toriyama's World/KEFI, not some crappy ameatur subs.

Also the quaility for 20-24 were pretty good.

If I didn't know better, I'd think that this was a harem series after watching that. Though really, Tsuna is practically a harem lead stuck in an action-comedy, so I suppose it kind of fits.

I just recently got into this Manga, and I never would have guessed that a female manga-ka came up with this crack on paper. Not saying that they can't :whistling:
But the storyline just kinda made me think a guy drew it. Mafia and all that good stuff….

You can tell a girl writes it, she's her own fangirl. You can tell she has Yamamoto and Gokudera pairings in her mind all the time lol.
It's like an action harem manga, with the Tsuna being the center and all the girls being guys that fangirls squeel at.
But who cares, the series is great. Just wish the future arc would get done with already, but it looks like there will be a training arc upcoming.

Honestly, I can't tell that it's a harem. To me Naruto reeks of that. Sasuke by himself is more harem material than the whole hitman manga IMO

Yeah, this series is pretty awesome so far, although I'm only watching the anime. It has some really quirky characters and strange occurences. It's like a slightly less random Bobobo. And the fact that it deals with the mafia heavily factors into my love of the series.
Anyways, I just got off the Mukuro Arc, pretty good first (serious) arc. Loved seeing serious Tsuna fight at the end.
And I'd say Lambo and Ryohei are easily my favorite characters.

Lambo is one of my favorite shonen characters period. He's so cute, and when he goes 15 year old he turns into a BAMF. Reborn! needs more credit. It could and should knock Naruto out of the shonen trio once it's over (probably soon)
Too bad I can't understand what the hell is going on in D-Gray Man or i'd say the true shonen trio is OP/Reborn/D-Gray Man, cause DGM has such badass characters. Alas, DGM and Reborn are pretty underrated.

I didn't know Hitman Reborn was underrated, I thought it was pretty popular in Japan and over the netz. And don't worry, it'll probably get in the big three when Naruto ends. Trust me, an awesome, original series like this will get it's due.
And yeah, Lambo's VA (Naruto) does it for me. That and he's just really entertaining whenever he's onscreen. He actually managed to make me laugh once even tho I don't find manga or anime in general to be funny, and that says a lot.
And Ryohei, he's Extreme. And although he's a tad generic, I just like him for some reason.

Personally, I like Gokudera, because his fighting style is pretty unique for a shonen. Most people tend to be fists, guns or swords with quirks in between. Dynamite is badass. Maybe it's why I like Deidara.
I just say Reborn is underrated because it seems like only KEFI is doing the scanlations, and no one else really. Hell, KEFI had to step in and get the Rings arc anime subbed, and it's at an amazingly slow pace (no offense to KEFI). Usually the more popular manga/anime get subbed amazingly fast, and scanned/translated incredibly fast. Reborn! is so random, you'd think if it was popular someone would pick it up weekly.

Yeah, that's why I'm not up to the Vongloa Ring Arc yet, they skipped some episodes and went straight to that arc, but now they are going back and doing those episodes. Should be caught up in a month, so I can further discuss.
And I forgot about Gokudera, he definitely has the most creative fighting style. I can say I haven't seen it before. Love that running gag with him and Biachi too.
Kinda taken a liking to that Hibari guy too. He reminds me of an extremely corrupt version of Sasuke with an extreme bloodlust. There's definitely something else about his personality that I can't put my hand on, wish I knew what it was.

About DGM in a jump comic a bought awhile back it had like a whole page and maybe more talking about the anime in japan and I might remember seeinga few fanarts in it too. Not too sure if it is popular though.

I'd say just jump in. Though, be wary the daily life arc is a little slow, and more light hearted and comedy focused, but it isn't indicative of the entire seires. It's just Amano's way of gradually introducing characters & concepts, without shoving it down the readers throats later on.
The "Vongola Ring" arc is definitely worth getting to, so keep with it, you shouldn't be disappointed.

Alright, you've got me sold into reading it. Nice way with words as always, BF. Personally, I know the beginning of most stories are "slow". That is the best way to go about it, but sadly you're risking turning people off cause of that. But I believe if you stick with it after that is all done with you'll find yourself something great.

I haven't read that much of this series, only the English volumes, what little has been scanslated of the Varia arc, and summaries on websites, but I really like it. I especially love Lambo. He's so cute!
I don't know if this is the place to post it, but I have an odd theory about the Varia. This is probably just stupid, but does anyone else think that they might be based on the Seven Deadly Sins? Here's why I think it:
- Lussuria's name sounds similar to the Latin word for Lust, Luxuria, and he's also very flirty and feminine.
- Leviathan is the name of the demon that represents Envy, and the fact that he looks up to Xanxus and wants to impress his superior kind of represents envy.
- Belphegor is the name of the demon that represents Sloth, and it takes him time to get serious in battle.
- Squalo's last name, Superbi, is similar to the Latin word for Pride, Superbia, and he is very arrogant.
- Mammon is the name of the demon that represents Greed, and he tries to charge Bel admission to his fight.
- Gola Mosca looks similar to the demon that represents Gluttony, Beelzebub, and the way he's powered kind of represents feeding.
- Xanxus is very angry, and one of the chapters that takes place during his fight is titled 'Wrath'.
I'm likely overthinking this (I do that a lot), but does anyone think it might be possible. Again, I don't know if this is the place to post a theory, but I don't know of anywhere else. I didn't even know this part of the forums existed until this morning.

Hey this is to any KEFI or Toriyama World people who may read this thread, but I was just wondering if you guys planned to keep subbing the Rings arc. It's been a while since 34/35 was released, I'd do anything for some more Rings action.

Shinsen has finally gotten to the Vongola Rings Arc and have subbed up to 35. In other words, Shinsen and Toriyama World are at the same spot.
By the way, what's the latest episode to air in Japan, and about how many chapters away from the newest chapter is the anime?

There's also a character-single type thing out, but there are actually only 2 songs. The rest of the tracks are the characters talking over background music.
Episode 45 was totally QUALITY (poor Gokudera), but 46 was better. Except, you know, glossing over a character's history. And Gokudera's mysterious, unnecessary-according-to-anime-canon lighter.

Picked up the first 4 volumes, I LOVE it already (gotta watch the Anime now too!).
I dunno why though, but it reminds me a heck of alot of Keroro Gunsou (maybe the moral grey area involved?). The art reminds me of Eyeshield 21 though. So I dunno.
And go damnit, Reborn is just so dang cute yet his dark personality is a perfect contrast.
