Just out of curiousity anyone know where I can get translated versions of Haru's interviews with some of the other characters seeing as how they stopped being translated at a point.

As far as "the one who wasn't turned into an Arcobaleno", I think it's the one to the right of Lal, instead of the one below Verde/White Coat. That seems more like armor to me, so probably more on the "Skull" side. Although, the one next to Lal does kinda look a little like Uni's design, though.
-
I saw the shiny round thing and thought helmet, but either of them work. OH WELL
-
It had a flower coming off of it, though…unless it's an octopus, then I guess that is Skull.
And if it wasn't bad enough that Gyoza looked just like Hibari, now he's future self also looks like future Mukuro.
-
I dunno if you're upset or not at the fact that Gyoza-ken master looks like Hibari, but that has been foreshadowed since forever. It's why I-pin likes Hibari in the first place.
But if you're complaining about the ponytail, I agree that Mukuro looks really lame in one.
-
I know that he looks like Hibari, but Amano just seems to unconsciously making him look like everyone else…and I kinda like Mukuro's ponytail, especially since it isn't braided like Gyoza's.
And it looks like Viper/Marmon was always in the Varia, since he still has his Varia clothes on in the flashback.
-
@Impel:
especially since it isn't braided like Gyoza's.
of course it's braided, he's Chinese
-
I can look straight at Mukuro's ponytail and can clearly tell that it isn't braided.
Besides, he's supposed to be Italian.
-
I don't think Colonnello was part of the 7 that was walking otherwise Reborn wouldn't have called him out like that, I have no idea but obviously he intended to take Lal's place but she ended up getting babified anyway.
I wonder if this means there's an 8th baby out there?
-
I think Lal's the "8th" baby, because her's is all messed up and she did say she wasn't a true Arcobaleno. So I guess there's another unknown Arcobaleno now.
But it looks like Lal's going to die with this next attack. Her eye tumors were spreading in the end of the chapter, and she was already dying anyway.
-
not like Lal dieing would mean anything, since she still would exist in the past… I think?
This time travel arc is making my head hurt.
-
yes exactly
just happy sorrow
-

If you die in the future, you're still alive in the past. Basic logic. That's why when old people die, it's not like their selves as babies don't exist anymore.
And I think this future is an alternate time-line anyway, so none of this should happen when Tsuna goes back to the past and kills Irie.
-

right… but why do they need to kill both Irie's? If Irie's dead in the future, why does killing the one in the past even matter, though I doubt Tsuna would kill him anyways.
-
So they can prevent all this from happening??
Duno.
-
Those shots of Gyoza-ken and Verde actually got me excited. Dunno why but the lab coat and the braid look strangely badass.

Well I assume that TYL Gokudera told Tsuna to kill Irie because he believed he was going to go back to the past in five minutes anyway. When that expired, future Irie was down for the count.
Unless something new's been revealed where both Iries have to die…?
-
This post is deleted!
-
So, is the Arcobaleno a curse they had to take upon themselves to prevent a catastrophe from happening? Perhaps we'll get a full explanation later.
Also, I'm confused. By Colonello saying he was going to go ahead, was he supposed to be the original Red Pacifier, while Lal Mirch was to take the Blue one? That would back up my theory that there's a ranking according to color. And here, again, Skull is identified as the weakest, which proves the point further. (Purple has the lowest frequency).
-
I'm wondering how they're going to show the future arc in the anime? I mean, it's a well thought out story arc and pretty long… I mean, compare it to the Varia arc and you may see what I mean.
-
Has LongChamp been introduced in the anime at all?
-
Why don't the TYL people remember about the Millifiore? It should happen in their past, unless in their universe the bazooka didn't malfunction…in that case, why did TYL Gokudera tell Tsuna to kill Irie if their pasts are different? I mean, in present Tsuna's possible future, the Millifiore might not happen at all.
And...will Tsuna really kill Irie when he goes back to the present? He doesn't seem the type of person to do it...I doubt he'd let anyone else kill Irie either.
...
-
If Irie's dead in the future, why does killing the one in the past even matter
…because in the future he's already done a lot of stuff to destroy the Vongola and they don't want that to happen?
-

From what I've heard on Wikipedia Naito was removed from the anime.
Also about this Irie jazz I don't know if they'd be able to kill Irie in the past considering he's a weak kid and all.
-
Well, maybe they could just stop him from using Lambo's box to fuck up the future.
And if they're really cutting Naito totally out of the anime, maybe they checked with Amano to make sure he won't pop up in the future arc or anything…although it seems more appropriate to the KHR anime that they didn't, since it's like our Dub One Piece over there.
-
I don't like that magician spider faggot.
At all
Nice to see Lal get a fight though.
Glad it's finally picking up
-
reborn novel is coming out, it's gonna explain a few things:
- what happened to xanxus after the cradle affair
- ipin's master who's a hibari lookalike
- how chrome first met ken and chikusa
check out this
bottom row, 2nd from left, that confirms that ipin's master is an arco who looks like hibari, and that braided dude from the last chapter has got to be him.
-
Hey, hold the phone… does that mean what I thought all along?
Yamamoto = Reborn, Gokudera = Skull, Hibari = Gyoza-sensei, Ryohei = Colonello, Chrome = Lal Mirch, Bianchi (?) = Marmon (maybe?), and Verde = No Idea
I always thought that those guys would replace the original Arcobaleno for a while now.

Ugh, I seriously hope she wasn't pressured or anything to remove Longchamp, because it's pretty dumb story-wise. "well he might be alive OH WAIT LOL HE'S DEAD"
Novel? How exactly does that work?
There's a guy who writes them, and Amano does some illustrations. I'm assuming they discuss what to put in it, how things happened exactly, etc., so none of it contradicts Amano's story.
The anime does a similar thing with putting in little fillers/flashbacks and the like, but I totally bet they don't get it ok'd by Amano. Like Gyoza-ken master appearing, Nagi meeting Ken and Chikusa…I'm not sure if the drama CDs do, though.
The first novel had stories about Shamal+Bianchi (wacky mafia hijinks I'm guessing, no one bothered to do a rough trans), Bel+Haru (Bel comes to Namimori to do some recon, meets Haru, and the two go to Take Sushi), Dino+Reborn (Dino's days with Reborn, Squalo makes a short cameo by saving Dino from mean bullies and by that I mean he kills them), and Mukuro's takeover of Kokuyo Middle School (which is totally JUST AS PLANNED). There's a short story about Mi-kun (the boy Mukuro possessed at the very very end of Kokuyo) spying on Tsuna/Yamamoto/Hibari (who's beating up the baseball team for their benefit) in the character guidebook, too.
As for this novel, I'm loling at the 9th. Don't forget he later orders Gokudera's (potential) assassination.
-
Yeah, it would be nice for novel translations, but no one is that dedicated. Plus, Squalo killing bullies for Dino… lmao.
Longchamp out of the anime? Eh. Anime not really that great anyway. Might pick it up once Irie finally shows up.
-

I also see it impossible. But if they don't kill Irie, the future will remain unchanged and the Vongola clan will be dead.
-
It's not a given that Irie will lead to the destruction of the Vongola. In Tsuna's universe, maybe that won't happen. I mean…parallel universes are the results of choices, so maybe the TYL world is a result of no bazooka malfunctioning...Irie still alive...or Irie influencing Byakuran and leading to the Millefiore.
I dunno, confusing and too many possibilities.
-
I also see it impossible. But if they don't kill Irie, the future will remain unchanged and the Vongola clan will be dead.
but the 10 year later Vongola are different from the current day Vongola. I imagine the current day Vongola just got a huge power jump due to going to the future. I don't see the point of killing Irie.
You say it would undo everything that happened in the future…? But they're living the same lives. They just have to beware of the Millefiore, and considering a 15 year old Tsuna is about to kill Byakuran (most likely), I'd say they can handle the Millefiore in the past.
Time travel arcs are way too annoying to think about. And we all know they're not gonna kill Irie in the past.
-
….. Man, the future arc is a bit problematic for me. I'm going to wait for the next story arc to start.
-
You'll miss Adult Reborn, but go ahead and be an elitist.
Good God, We've got a major Mafia Famigila with plenty of still unrevealed powerful members ahead of us and people are complaining that this arc has no bite…it's not like it won't pick up and get more direction.
-
The last chapter actually got me interested again. It was more the color spread and the JUMP cover, but whatever.
-
Something interesting I came across on a japanese site (not affiliated with Jump) was a poll of the reader's favorite series. Reborn was at the very bottom, I was a bit surprised at that
I think it went One Piece, Bleach, Prince of Tennis, some other stuff, can't read Japanese. Best part was that To-Love-Ru was more popular than Naruto.
I'll try to find it again, but I doubt I will, considering that I came across it pretty randomly.
-
I had heard that Reborn! was extremely popular in Japan. Like, even the shit-anime was popular there.
But I guess for people who don't like it, it's either the slow start in the beginning or everyone's idea that the current arc isn't going anywhere.
-
But I guess for people who don't like it, it's either the slow start in the beginning
I wouldn't say it starts out slow I for one wasn't expecting the story to go in the directions that it started going in after the Mafia land arc, the way the story's been going almost makes it seem out of context.
everyone's idea that the current arc isn't going anywhere.
I want to say something to respond to that but I honestly can't, I'm someone else will be able to.
-
One of the future arcs should be a yakuza arc, maybe. That'd be neat. Or perhaps an introduction of triads, maybe with Gyoza-ken.
Not that it would make Reborn any more realistic, but still….
-
I'd love it if they have Tsuna as an actual Mafia boss.
And Sandai, the beginning is boring and dumb. Just deal with it.
-

The beginning is pretty awesome IMO. It gets slower after all of the main cast gets introduced, but I found most of the stuff silly enough to keep me going.
This page pretty much hooked me.
!
Dammit Hayato, why can't you do this shit anymore?
-
I really can't considering all the good parts that came out it.
-

Alright, yeah, when they're actually developing the plot it was interesting only because I knew it was moving forward. Otherwise it was like
snowball fight. wow.
swimming lessons. wow.
you suck at school I get the point.

Fuck you, that snowball fight was awesome.
-
It was Dino at his worst.
-
Dino's always at his worst when his goons aren't around.
Also that bit with the 9th testing Gokudera's loyalty even with that messed up twist was one of the most touching momemt's in the series.
-
That was the chapter right before there was a real story arc, so I just went ahead and counted that into the whole Mukuro thing, since Gokudera was the first one to fight for Tsuna in that arc.
-

voted 3rd best anime series currently airing by crazy Japanese/Korean/Chinese fangirls who all know the anime sucks tremendous balls (and frequently make fun of it) but can't escape the allure of barely-legal buttsex
and I liked the slice-of-life stuff. ): I sort of wish we could go back to that, except with the new characters too. But for now I'll just have to hang onto the volume extras…

Found that poll I talked about
HUNTER×HUNTER 179
ONEPIECE 175
TOLOVEる 165
NARUTO 121
D-Gray.man 121
アイシールド21(Eyeshield 21) 108
エム×ゼロ (Mx0) 90
サイレン (Psyren) 82
銀魂 (Gintama) 78
REBORN 78I think it just lists the top 10. Also, suck it Naruto.
