No the colour pages go to Naruto chapter 515 which really burns, the pages were really great but we only see them as they would appear in the volume.

They really do have to get the color walks out here….but volume 61 color spread won't even show up till color walk 6 or 7 right? XD guess we're gonna have to wait like 5 years to see that color spread. The little version on the back of the volumes really doesn't do them a justice.

Luffy hasn't been on the cover since last July I think. I really think they should've taken a one month break from the Naruto love fest at Viz to give Luffy the cover for the time skip and the 598 color spread.

Oh well, I mean I dont' dislike Naruto but One Piece isn't like a horrible selling series or anything. If Nura could get the cover earlier this year, I really think Luffy should get at least one in 2011.

no surprise really both sell more than One Piece in North America, with the R+V anime being released by funimation Viz is probably trying to capitalize on sales.

I hate to say it because I enjoy One Piece but it will always be an uphill struggle here.

The magazine serves little purpose then to get people to sample these series and those who don't have the urge to spend $10 on a Volume. I stopped actively buying it probably the 2nd year in because all I wanted to read was One Piece. It's just gotten so horrible lately I didn't even bother buying the issue with Cross Epoch.

Just Luffy on the cover…the series sells well enough to warrant at least one cover a year. At least the 598 color spread considering Naruto's color covers are pretty bland. I kinda understand putting Naruto on the cover as it sells the magazine, but the magazine is sealed even on the news stand. Naruto color cover of One Piece color cover doesn't sell any more issues. Would just be nice to have a least a minor bit of recognition that One Piece had a huge event in the story.

Just like me, I was Influenced by my classmate last 7months to watch one piece. And thats how it started for me to realize that one piece is a really great show. I didnt know it before because I kinda dont like the Art.

Most people that didnt know one piece is great is because the art style isnt that good in your first impression. just like me when I saw it in TV.
Lets spread to the whole world that "ONE PIECE IS REAL!" err i mean "ONE PIECE IS GREAT!"

Well if we want more Colorwalks then we know what we have to do. We as fans have to buy the heck out of Colorwalk 2. Viz has gone on the record several times saying that if we want more cool One Piece stuff then we need to buy it. High sales on Colorwalk 2 is the first step in doing that.

They're grayscale, and I don't know about anyone else's, but the printjob just looked so damn shoddy looking.

I figured that but a tiny part of me was hoping they would do color.

I would have to see for myself. Then again I have a very low bar for quality. As long as I can read the text and see the images then I am good.

Just a few notes about some information in the newest chapters of One Piece released in the Oct/Nov issue in case people would like to know. The three categories of haki are as such;

Color of Observation Haki
Color of Arms Haki
Color of the Supreme King

597 is the last chapter of the "Paramount War" arc title and starting 598 they're calling it "New World."

One other thing that I thought was kinda weird this month was that every single time they mention Sabaody they put "the" in front of the name.

Like in the little text boxes saying the location instead of saying "Sabaody Archipelago Grove 47" it will say "The Sabaody Archipelago Grove 47"…every single time. Marines say "We're on the Sabaody Archipelago" etc.

It's really weird considering they simply referenced it as "Sabaody Archipelago" throughout volumes 51 and 52. Just kinda weird I guess.

On pg. 92, near the start of Chapter 598, there's an advertisement for Bleach Volume 36, Naruto Volume 52, and One Piece Volume 58, which all come out in September.
And at the top of the page, it says, "The Big Three".

That made me laugh because it's so inaccurate.

Yes, in Japan and in most of the anime/manga communities in America.
But here, in America, One Piece isn't a high seller like Bleach or Naruto.
Viz Media including One Piece to their "The Big Three", when there's a big difference in popularity in the States, just seems inaccurate.
