v49 HQ including cover, sbs, usopp gallery pages and other extras is released on our site (you know where it is).
We scanlated 300 chapters of One Piece so far. v50 is cleaned but waiting for the tler to come back from holidays.

Thanks a lot guys! I love your HQ releases. They are some of the best in the manga scanlation world, at least for those mangas I read which is probably not any good sample. ;)

We will not scanlate before v20 and since viz is catching up with us, we will probably not redo volumes before v26 (our first HQ rerelease). I'm working on v29 HQ currently but I'm busy with school so you'll have to wait a bit. However spl and genesic are on fire so v52 could be released quickly after it's been released and scanned.

for me you doing right thing scanlating new one piece series a bit later
and as a general rule for poor people like us out there patience is essential in life
so waiting is not a big issue when you get a high quality release like yours
but for completing the series a rework of all volumes is a need if you wont do it only franky house can do at the moment it seems -

If you like one piece, buy their volume (even though they are average), it's the only way to support Oda. The reason why we won't redo before v26 is that we have already 15 volumes to redo (29-39 + 41-42 + 44-45) and that we have barely enough staff to do them. Just so you know, next volumes to come should be 52 and 29 (this one won't be done for christmas nor new year because i'm busy).

We don't do weekly releases for One Piece. That is being picked up by several quite competent scanners (read:Franky House and others). N-U-L-L concentrates on very high quality scantilation of the chapters in books when they are released (about every 3 months or so).

well null used to release weekly chapters even in 400 series
and thanks for the info, so you scan volumes not chapters anymoreby bf you mean franky house or else
franky house is good in terms of speed and scan quality, but especially they change fonts within the chapter to some crunchy ones, if someone knows the typesetter, may tell him so
ophq weekly releases were better for 500 series, yet they closed the siteso the groups are good but not equal to null chapter releases, though they highered their quality a lot
also all groups should join force too much groups, competing each other on same project meaningless, unless there is a huge translation approach difference
but I was supporting null's approach, over frankies, releasing a chapter so fast is not good in terms of manga buyers, null were releasing weekly chapters after 2 weeks, since they were behind the series
if we are not paying, we should wait 1-2 weeks before reading an online version
quick releases should be avoided, for leading people to buy manga more to support publishersmaybe I should write a manifesto over this scan issue

You have to remember that many of us do not have access to the Japanese manga or cannot read it. I completely support the manga and encourage others to buy the VIZ version (or whatever is in your country) when it is available. I do not think that the scantilations take any buyers away from the weekly manga version. If I could pay Shonen Jump for an online, English, version of the series, I would in a flash.
That would be cool to get a version on your Kindle or iPhone from Shonen a few days after the Japanese release.
